well, here it is; the newest eleventh chapter of my first ever 'Wedding Peach' fanfiction, 'The Love Angel and the Dark-Hearted Devil' titled as a parody of 'Beauty and the Beast', though storylined as a loose re-telling of the anime series of 'Wedding Peach' told from Yousuke Fuuma's point of view. that's right! this fanfiction is not only based upon the anime and not the manga, but it's also narrated by one of the characters from within the series' storyline while being written by yours truly. this chapter is still one of the short(er) chapters of the fanfiction, but it is not exactly as short as its predecessor chapter in this fanfiction. this chapter, right here, is a minor seven-hundred-twelve words of complete and total storyline, save for the headnote, right here, and the disclaimer that follows this headnote. speaking of the disclaimer, I'll now move on to that.
disclamation: I don't own either the anime or the manga of the 'Wedding Peach' series in any way, shape, or form. I confess to not even knowing just who owns it, and one thing about it which I know for sure is that it ain't me. I am but a humble fanfiction blogger on this website and an author of other types of stories on other websites on the Internet, specifically on WattPad, most of all.
I could not believe that it was finally almost here; the school's flower festival. Everybody was working so hard on both the garden with the flower clock and on the viewing platform. That was how it was supposed to be even. The flower festival had even doubled as the anniversary of when St. Hanazono first opened its doors to its students. The anniversary's ceremony was a mere two days away at the time.
A couple days later on the day of the anniversary ceremony, I had managed to run into those three girls from the newspaper club while I was carrying a desk with both of my hands. I had even struck up a conversation with Momoko about the food being served in the cafeteria.
Yours Truly: They're serving a special at the cafeteria. Guess what the sandwich is gonna be.
Hinagiku Tamano: How about a pork cutlet sandwich with a side of flan, Yousuke?
How could any one of those three have known about that, especially if the one amongst the three of them that already knew about it was Hinagiku? She was even reported completely missing in action yesterday and was only discovered to have been back with her own family for that whole time she had been missing in action from every event which had happened the prior day by that day, itself. I supposed could have only found out how she knew such information should I have had to ask her.
Yours Truly: How did you find out about it? It's supposed to be top-secret info.
Hinagiku only responded to my question with another question about what the rest of the soccer team, themselves, were planning on doing about it.
Hinagiku Tamano: Is it also top-secret that the soccer team is planning on buying them off?
I bet one of the guys from the soccer team went and blabbed to her.
Yours Truly: Those boys just can't keep their mouths shut.
Momoko, Yuri and Hinagiku were all just lucky that I had been holding a desk in my hands and did not have time to deal with them at the time. So, I just left them all as quickly as I could but not before sticking my tongue out at them tauntingly. Momoko, herself, returned the gesture disgruntledly, though.
Later on, however, Momoko, Yuri, and Hinagiku, the newspaper club girls came running onto the field.
Momoko Hanasaki: Oh no! The viewing platform!
All three of the newspaper club's girls just continued to rush onto the field.
Hinagiku Tamano: Stay away from the viewing platform, Yanagiba!
Just what was going on with those three? Whatever it was that was going on with them, they were too late to prevent Yanagiba from making it up to the viewing platform.
Yours Truly: Hey, where have you guys been?
Then, the newspaper club girls all turned to look at me with confusion written all over all three of their collective faces. I could easily see that they needed some explaining from someone, and I suppose that that someone had to be me.
Yours Truly (continued): One of the legs of the viewing platform was shaking, so we had to spend all this time fixing it.
Momoko, Yuri and Hinagiku just continued looking at me with confusion on their faces.
Yours Truly (continued): It would've been nice to have all our hard work caught on camera for the newspaper, wouldn't it?
The rest of the soccer team backed me up on having fixed the viewing platform's legs to perfection.
Soccer team: Yeah, that's right.
Then, Momoko and Hinagiku just looked at me like they had been worried about something for no reason at all and had just wasted their time worrying about it. Yuri, meanwhile, just kept a straight look on her face.
Principal: This is a fine view you've all created. Standing up here, one can't help but feel love emanating from these flowers. The hydrangeas look especially vivid.
The hydrangeas, huh? Those were the flowers that Momoko and her two friends in the newspaper club planted, weren't they? I never would have guessed that Momoko had a green thumb for any kind of flower, at all.
