At their Malibu beach house, the spies were sitting on the couch while watching a movie.
"Oh, don't go in the basement," said Alex as a girl opened a door in the movie. Suddenly, the room was filled with screams from both the character and Alex as a monster jumped out of the darkness.
"Oh, come on, Alex," said Clover as she and Sam laughed at their friend who had spilled a bowl of popcorn everywhere.
"It's just a movie, there's no need to be so scared," she said.
"Yeah, monsters don't actually exist," said Sam.
"Sorry, I've always been scared of monster movies since I was little, so this isn't my ideal kind of movie night," said Alex.
"And let's not forget about Martin Mystery who was a paranormal investigator for The Center," said Alex.
"Which has probably shut down by now from lack of funding due to the fact monsters don't exist," said Sam with an eye roll. The power to the entire house then went out.
"Wh… what happened?" asked Alex as she bear-hugged a pillow to her chest.
"The breaker probably just…," said Clover before the TV kicked back on with black and white snow on the screen.
"I… I think it's something else," said Alex while the TV turned into a small vacuum which began to suck things up into it.
"Yeah, it's called Jerry!" said Sam before all three girls were sucked inside the TV. A few minutes later, the three landed on the couch in their boss's office. Popcorn had managed to get mangled into their hair thanks to the rough ride.
"Welcome girls, I hope the ride wasn't too scary," said Jerry.
"N…not at all," said Alex.
"Good, because your mission is going to be far worse than even that movie," said Jerry before the booming sound of thunder filled the air.
"Ahem," said Jerry while looking at GLADIS.
"Sorry, I couldn't help myself, scary movies are my favorite type," said GLADIS.
