Back with Alex who had managed to get to her room and was hiding in a corner. She had also pushed the dresser in front of the door to keep the monster out.
"If I know monsters well enough then I won't be able to hide for long," said Alex as she watched the door while clutching a weight in her hand.
"Alex," said the creature from the hall.
"How do you know my name?" asked Alex.
"We have known each other for a long time," said the creature before letting out a laugh that was a slight wheeze and sounded like it was moving away from the door at the same time.
"This is the first…," said Alex before realizing that her room had changed to that of a child's and the weight she had been holding was gone.
"You were the monster from my closet when I was a kid," said Alex while moving her attention to the closet door which was diagonally across from her.
"That's right," the creature said while opening the closet from the inside.
"Last time I was stopped before I could get my claws into you, but this time no one can get in my way!" it said before lunging at Alex who screamed. However, it was at this time that something shot the creature from behind, making it fall over dead.
"Good thing I had the laser gun," said Martin while stepping out of the closet while trying not to step on the creature which was laying on the ground with a large burn on its back.
"Martin… are you real?" asked Alex.
"I am, and it looks like your nightmare scape is starting to fade," said Martin while everything began to vanish and the area around them turned black.
"Alex!" the spy heard from behind her.
"Sam, Clover!" said Alex as she turned to see the girls running toward her.
"What happened to you, we heard you screaming," said Clover as she and Sam hugged the other girl tightly.
"Talk while we move," said Martin as he started to walk away from them.
"Martin, where is the rest of your team?" asked Sam.
"They are in their own nightmare scapes right now, and I need your help to get them out," said Martin without turning back to the girls.
