This came to me as I was browsing on youtube and my brain just wouldn't let it go.
All mistakes are my own as I have no bets.
Its the night before the finale battle begins we can all feel it bearing down on all the horcruxes are gone except Nagini.
The feeling of foreboding of heading into a battle were many lives will be lost friends and families as I look around me as we have gathered in the Room of Requirement flashes of a movie I once manage to watch while the Durslys were out for the day creep into my head, the movie similar to the situation we are all in now.
The words playing in my mind desperately trying to bring sound to, those words to bring comfort to bring hope, the passion to fight for what we live for, for our futures and one day our children's futures.
As the tune gets louder in my head I cant help but start humming the tune after the first verse the words start coming I couldn't help it,
"Do you hear the people sing?
Singing a song of angry men?"
I hear Hermione who is sitting between Ron and me start singing it with me.
"It is the music of a people
Who will not be slaves again!
When the beating of your heart
Echoes the beating of the drums
There is a life about to start
When tomorrow comes!"
As I look around other muggle borns and half bloods who know the song who knows the musical and what it is all about joins in as well in the cours
I stand the feeling of the passion and desire as it starts to flow through my vains
"Will you join in our crusade?
Who will be strong and stand with me?
Beyond the barricade
Is there a world you long to see?
Then join in the fight
That will give you the right to be free!"
Through out the Britan and British Isles on a magical radio the people of Wizarding Britain listen to the 'boy who lived' to join him and the light to help save their rights to live and be free.
All over the UK and in Hogwarts herself Adults, Teachers, Students and Families sing as they stand with Harry as a United front against the dark.
"Do you hear the people sing?
Singing a song of angry men?
It is the music of a people
Who will not be slaves again!
When the beating of your heart
Echoes the beating of the drums
There is a life about to start
When tomorrow comes!" they all sing with me
Quieting down as I move onto the next verse starting clear and strong my voice wanting to brake at the thought of the people who we may loose, pushing through making my voice louder and clearer for all to hear that though lives will be lost they will never be forgotten.
"Will you give all you can give
So that our banner may advance
Some will fall and some will live
Will you stand up and take your chance?
The blood of the martyrs
Will water the meadows of Hogwarts!" I sing putting all my emotions into the soul of Hogwarts to give her more life to give a aid in protecting her and all the current and future students that fill her corridors.
As once again everyone muggleborn, halfblood and pure blood alike standing mixed with one another all different backgrounds and different houses standing strong standing together as one.
"Do you hear the people sing?
Singing a song of angry men?
It is the music of a people
Who will not be slaves again!
When the beating of your heart
Echoes the beating of the drums
There is a life about to start
When tomorrow comes!Pushing all the magic I have left in me into my wand as Voldemort and my own spells clash with each other knowing this is the end as the green light inches closer and closer back to Voldemort feeling my own magic leave me, my own pure determination pushing as my sole leaves my body as the green light of the killing curse that Voldemort had cast at me hits him as darkness flutters over the peripherals of my eyes I see Voldemort drop dead and his body start to dry as the magic that held his body together leaves him.
I feel at peace as my own body crumples to the ground my duty paid in full my life for the life of everyone else to end the darkness.
I feel no more pain no anchors to hold me I am free.
