Chapter 10
Its Time
To Finally
Go Home
After a night of celebrating and destroying the not so lamented Bishop's Base of Operations and calling in the Green Lantern of that Sector to help get Bishop's Prisoners/Slaves back home, the Legends were all ready to get on back home now that their mission was finally over with! Though the Texan Natives would no doubt be in Therapy for a good long while once they got back home after all they'd been through and Zed and Chas were likewise going to need some Therapy of their own due to their experiences. "Makes me wish I had my Powers still as I probably would've been able to keep us from experiencing all this." Zed had muttered at one point during hers and Chas' reunion with John.
"But if we had, Bishop likely would've still been doing all the horrible s**t he'd been doing until now." Pointed out Chas, trying to find some semblance of good in the whole thing.
Zed reasoned to herself that he had a point but more than anything, she was ready to get back to Earth and try and forget this had happened. And after a conversation between Kayla and Gary and effectively ending their Engagement, she and Mick had disappeared to who knows where for a good while and when Mick showed up again with Kayla by his side, he was smirking quite proudly. "Best. Time. Ever." He proudly declared.
"I'm so proud." Sara told him in amusement while wiping away a fake tear.
This also helped to keep her mind off the fact that three of the DEO members had died during the fight and their bodies had been safely placed in special Cryo tubes until they could be returned to Earth. Chuckling, Mick and Kayla went off towards a Ship she'd called for during the night of celebrating. "If you're ever near Earth, you should stop by."
Kayla smiled at him and he couldn't help but shiver in pleasure as she looked him over again. "Never know, I just might." The two shared a very passionate kiss before pulling away from one another and Mick watched her take off in her Ship.
Not even paying attention to the fact that Ava had stepped up next to him. "You lead a very… Interesting life, Mickey."
"Don't I know it." He replied with a proud smile as a Drunken and High Behrad stumbled behind them without either realizing.
Of course, he figured it was best if his sleeping with an Alien of all things was best to never be mentioned around Ali or Lita for reason or another. And even said as much to Ava. "Oh, yeah! Without a doubt! I don't want to scar my Niece!" Replied Ava.
Plus, she figured Lita wouldn't be all that enthused about her Dad sleeping with someone that wasn't her Mother. "Good point."
Shouts from Sara was heard for all to get on board the Waverider so they could get started on getting home and Nate would have to carry a passed out Behrad on to the Ship. Though Sara planned to set it for Auto-Pilot for awhile while she and the others dealt with their hang overs and got some sleep. Gideon couldn't help but tsk at them too for it much to their irritation!
