Metalsound rolled her optics as Glowstrike made her little speech, it helped that they were underwater, she paid more attention to the passing fish than anything. She wasn't sure if it was a good idea to let out the one that looked like a Tree Frog, he kept looking around, mumbling to himself about a "Durodus" whatever that was. Her thoughts were interrupted as the femme said that they were dismissed.
Stretching her arms over her helm she left the bridge behind the mechs, the crab-looking one kept looking at her which was starting to annoy her. Steeljaw notices and lets out a small laugh, "Something bugging you?"
Metalsound kicked the small mech, hearing him crashing onto the wall before replying, "Nope, as long as you boys keep your servos to yourself, we'll be good."
Steeljaw laughs, "Duly noted."
With a chuckle Metalsound glanced out a nearby window, with the ship being underwater she felt trapped, "Want to go outside? I think there's supposed to be a full moon out tonight."
"Sure."
They go up on top and exit the ship, then they go walking into the woods. Metalsound could tell something was on Steeljaw's processor. Once they were outside Metalsound transformed back to her beast form, quickly spotting a small clearing she sat down, looking at the night sky. She risked a small glance over to the mech with her. Steeljaw was sitting there looking up at the stars.
"Do you do this often?" She asked as she looked back to the sky.
"Do what?" He asked still looking at the sky.
"Come out here to be alone with your thoughts. I do it all the time."
"No, not really."
Metalsound huffed as if she was chuckling, "You seem distracted though."
He looks at her, "Really? Well, I'm not distracted."
"You are when you can't get the cadet off your processor."
He vents out a frustrated sigh, "Why can't I forget about her!?"
"I can't really answer that, you'll just have to figure it out yourself. Or maybe you just want to see her again," the Predacon replied. She knew it was the sign of a crush, only time would tell if he would want to follow his feelings.
"I don't want to see her again!"
"Why not?"
"She's an Autobot! Why would I want to see an Autobot? Why would I want to risk getting caught just to see an Autobot?"
"Why did you say 'I'm starting to like you, cadet'? Was it to throw her off, so you could escape, or, did you really mean it?" The wolf Predacon asked, now looking at him.
Steeljaw thinks for a moment, "Not sure... Oh who am I kidding, I want to see her, I need to see her! You have to help me!"
Metalsound chuckled again, "What do you want me to do? This feels like Romeo and Juliet," she replied with a smirk.
"Romeo and Juliet?" He asked in confusion.
"It's a famous human story, these two families are at war with each other, actually they just hate each other but that's not the full point. Their youngest kids see each other at one of the family's parties, and they fall in love, love at first sight if you will," the femme explained as she tried to remember all of the details, "They try to get together and they succeed," Metalsound didn't want to say anything about the full ending, it most likely would have done more harm than good.
"I see, sounds interesting."
"Yeah, so what exactly was it that you wanted me to do again? Not to mention Scorpion and Firefly are going to be keeping a close optic on us."
"I want you to help me sneak into the scrapyard to see her."
"First of all I'm not doing that, second, you don't want to come off as a stalker. However, if you run into each other while in battle... I'll distract the Autobots while you do whatever you choose to do with the cadet."
"Alright, sounds good. What you got planned?"
"I'll come up with something, for now, I think we should learn their routine," the dark femme replied with a toothy grin.
He pouts, "Fine!"
Strongarm sighed as she slowly drove out of the scrapyard, true she should be getting some rest after the day she's had but she couldn't get to sleep. Taking a turn through the woods she came out to a small gorge, "Why did Steeljaw say that? Was it just to get in my helm? If so I won't let it work," the young femme assured herself. Unknowingly to Strongarm, she was seen by two beings, Steeljaw and Metalsound who just so happened to be near the area.
"This seems like an opportune moment. Now's your chance, but if you want to wait a little longer that'll be fine as well," Metalsound whispered with caution.
Steeljaw keeps his optics set on Strongarm, "Strongarm," he whispers to himself, "No way am I waiting, I waited long enough."
"You did just attack them, nearly killed the two humans and the Mini-Con. I don't think she'll be too happy to see you so soon. Give her some time, trust me," Metalsound replied as she circled around the blue mech.
"When will she be happy to see me? Given our history, she won't ever be happy to see me until I do something to make her think differently of me. So I'm gonna go talk to her now," he says before he starts walking out towards Strongarm.
"Wait...!" Metalsound stopped herself, he was right but she was still going to be upset.
Strongarm felt like something was watching her as she turned around, her weapon drawn in front of her, "Come on out," she called into the darkness. Steeljaw stepped out into her sights. The femme's optics widened before she narrowed them again, "Servos where I can see them, Steeljaw," she kept her weapon aimed at him, unknowing of the pair of purple optics watching just a few feet away.
Metalsound stayed where she was, not wanting to give the femme a reason to feel threatened.
Steeljaw puts his servos up, "Whoa, whoa, I mean no harm."
Strongarm wasn't fully convinced at the Decepticon's answer, "After that stunt, you pulled today, I'm not taking any chances," she replied, keeping her weapon locked on him.
"I understand, but all I want to do is talk."
This is why you should have waited a few days, stupid. Metalsound thought to herself.
Strongarm slowly got closer to the Wolf-Con, "How do I know that this isn't another trick?"
"If I meant you harm I would have attacked you already when you were unaware of my presence."
Strongarm growled quietly to herself, Steeljaw had a point, "You have 30 seconds," she replied, not taking her Decepticon Hunter off of him.
Steeljaw's tail flicked back and forth really fast, "Alright. Do you recall when I said 'I'm starting to like you, cadet'?"
Strongarm blinked in surprise, she hadn't expected that. Why would he bring up a taunt? "What about it?"
"First, what did you think of it when I said it?"
"It was a taunt to throw me off guard."
"It wasn't a taunt, I actually meant it."
Strongarm nearly dropped her Decepticon Hunter, there was no way he actually meant it. Did he? Hearing the familiar rev of Bumblebee's engine caught her attention, "If you don't want to get caught I suggest you leave, now," the cadet warned as she transformed, driving off to meet up with the lieutenant.
Metalsound decided to wait a few moments before joining Steeljaw. He should not have said that quite yet.
Steeljaw watches Strongarm drive off until she was out of sight. He was wondering why she gave him a warning instead of calling Bumblebee over to help her apprehend him, or just apprehend him herself.
