Metalsound woke up early in the morning, just an hour before sunrise, "Where am I?" She asked herself as she looked around. After a short look around she saw Thunderhoof in recharge on the floor. She must have fallen asleep at some point last night.
Thunderhoof was woken up by the sound of movement, he opened his optics and looked at Metalsound, "Morning. Did you sleep well?"
"Yes, sorry I took your berth," she replied as she slowly sat up. Her servo was still sore but it hurt less than it had last night.
"Eh, no worries, I was the one who placed you there."
"Oh, I have my own quarters but I never really use it," she looked away trying to hide her blush.
"Oh, I wasn't sure and I didn't want to leave you outside in your condition."
"Thank you, that was very considerate of you."
"It was no problem."
Metalsound felt odd being alone in a room with Thunderhoof, she still didn't know him all that well. To top it off Soundwave was on the ship somewhere, "If you hadn't taken over the family business what would you have wanted to do?"
"Probably would have still been a crime lord just of my own business."
"Ahh, I'm not sure what I would have been able to do with my life. Training under Dreadwing was all I really did as a kid."
"Oh. Well, I think he trained you well, and he sounds like he was a great mech."
"He was. I miss him, but I know he wouldn't want me to sit around and mope. I try to keep up with training, and dancing seems to help too," she replied with a chuckle.
"Sounds like good stuff to do to pass the time," Thunderhoof said with a smile.
"Besides these runs Saberhorn and Glowstike have us do, what do you do in your spare time?"
"Train, practice my ramming, stuff like that."
"If you ever want a sparring partner just let me know, I can always use a new opponent," she grinned.
"Will do," he replies grinning back.
"Care to get some Energon and watch the sunrise with me?" She got off the berth and offered her servo to help Thunderhoof off the floor.
"Sure, why not," he says taking her servo and pulling himself off the floor.
The two go out on top of the ship with some Energon cubes and sit down to watch the sunrise, not knowing that another 'Con was there watching them.
Leaning back Metalsound looked out to the pink and purple sky, "I think this is one of the reasons that I like this planet," she said absent-mindedly as she took another sip of her Energon.
"Yeah, these sunrises are beautiful, sunsets are beautiful too."
"I agree, it also depends on the location. With the way the sun is giving off the light on the trees and the lake, it has a warm vibe that says welcome."
"Yes, it sure does," Thunderhoof says as he looks out over the horizon before taking a sip of his Energon.
"What's your opinion on Predacons?"
"I think they're pretty cool and awesome."
"I'm glad you think so," Metalsound chuckled, "Sometimes I feel like others don't really give us a chance. I mean I understand being afraid of something you don't understand but, they could try to give them a chance. I felt like I was the only one, I think I freaked Dreadwing out when I transformed after he found me," she smiled at the memory, "He must have realized how scared I was, I still don't know why he took me in."
"Yeah I know a lot of Cybertronians fear you Predacons but I don't, but then I'm the type to face the scary stuff head-on," he says the last part with a smirk.
Metalsound giggled, "Glad to hear someone isn't too scared to be in the same room as me. I'm not that intimidating am I?"
"Not to me, I rather like being around you," he replied with a smile.
"Thanks," she whispered when she felt her cheeks grow warm. Thunderhoof just smiled at her, "So uh, what kind of interests do you have?"
"Eh, training and practicing my head ramming and hoof stomping. You?"
"Training, flying, singing, and Dancing. Hoof Stomping?"
"Yeah, where I stomp my foot pounding the ground."
"Ahh, as simple as that sounds I'm still confused. You just stomp your foot on the ground and, what? It causes a vibration? I would like to see that."
"Yeah, I stomp the ground and send a vibration. I can even make the ground break apart if I stomp hard enough."
Metalsound chuckled, "I think anyone can break the ground if they try hard enough. If I have enough momentum and speed I can make a small crater with my tail. Shoot I could do that with my electricity."
"Oh, with your strength I'm sure you could," Thunderhoof says with a chuckle.
"You want to see who can make a bigger crater?" She challenged with a smirk.
"You're on!" He replies with a smirk of his own.
"We need to find a good spot," she countered as she got up to stretch her arms over her helm, "Preferably a spot where humans aren't in the way."
"I don't see why you value these fleshlings so much."
"I've been watching them for a long time, plus I'm friends with a few humans."
"Why would you make friends with them?"
"I was alone," she replied softly, "Shall we get going before we get called to something?" The wolf Predacon asked as she transformed, taking to the air. Thunderhoof jumped down and as soon as he was on land he transformed and followed her.
Soundwave sends Laserbeak after them to keep watch over them.
Metalsound weaved through the trees as she searched for a clearing, loving the cool morning breeze.
"Strongarm, can you come over here please?" Bumblebee asks Strongarm wanting to talk with her.
Strongarm walked over to the lieutenant, she had slept so soundly last night. Not to mention she kept dreaming about Steeljaw, "Yes sir?"
"Strongarm, we're concerned about you, you haven't been yourself lately. Are you feeling alright?" Bumblebee asks with a hint of concern in his voice.
"I'm fine, just a little shaken from the other day and I'm worried about the stealth team," she replied, telling the whole truth. She was worried about the stealth team and was wondering when they were going to be back.
"We're all worried."
"Was that all sir?"
"Are you sure there's nothing else going on?"
"Yes."
"Lieutenant Bumblebee!"
Strongarm and Bumblebee looked over to Fixit who was making his way over to them, "What's the matter Fixit?"
"There has been a slew- mew- few reports of strange sounds coming from a nearby canyon, where we had our first encounter with Underbite."
"Alright. Grimlock we got activity!"
"Alright! When do we start punching?" The Dinobot asked as he slammed his fist into his servo.
"I wonder what's going on over there," Strongarm mused.
"We'll soon find out," Bumblebee said as he transformed and drove off. Strongarm followed after him, pulling Grimlock's trailer behind her.
