Steeljaw walked onto the bridge where Saberhorn was waiting for him, "Yes, Saberhorn?"
"How is your progress on the Decepticon hunters?"
"It's coming, just a bit more time and they'll be yours," he replies with a smile but damning himself on the inside because he had actually forgotten about that.
"I see, I understand that this will take some time. Glowstrike is getting a little impatient," he said as he walked over to one of the monitors, "The Mini-Cons have proven to be useful, however, Metalsound has done nothing to help with the repairs of the Alchemor. I've instructed Glowstrike with giving Metalsound a few tasks, but Glowstrike's saying that Metalsound refuses to do as she's told."
"Maybe I can talk to her and get her to pitch in."
"I would appreciate that old chap. See if she can get the items on this list, you can go," Saberhorn handed Steeljaw a datapad with a list of different parts. Steeljaw takes the datapad and with a nod, he turns to walk off of the bridge and goes to look for Metalsound.
Metalsound was laying on the top of the ship looking out at the forest. She was still trying to think of how to let the Autobots know that Strongarm was ok. Not to mention she was bored out of her mind, she wanted to do something she didn't care what it was. With an annoyed growl, she rolled onto her back, looking at the sky.
Steeljaw walks up to her and bends over to look her in the face, "Hey Metalsound."
With a surprised yelp she quickly got to her paws, she didn't do or say anything other than stare at him.
"Sorry, didn't mean to startle you."
"Did you need something?"
"Yes, Saberhorn was hoping I could talk you into doing some tasks to help fix up the Alchemor, he has a list of things you could do."
"Ok," Metalsound was somewhat confused, this was the first time she's heard that any of them wanted her assistance, "What does he want me to do?"
"You look confused. Didn't Glowstrike tell you about the tasks they wanted you to do?"
"No, she never said anything about wanting me to go on any kind of mission. In fact, I'm pretty sure that she doesn't even like me."
"Saberhorn said that you haven't done anything to help and that Glowstrike had told him that she tried to give you some tasks to do but you downright refused to."
"She's never given me any tasks, I volunteered to go with Thunderhoof the other day but she said that he would be alright on his own. And do you know what happened? He got jumped by the Autobots and I left to go look for him only to see him banged up."
"Yeah... Well, here's the list of tasks Saberhorn wants you to do," he says as he hands her the datapad.
Transforming she took the datapad, there was a lot but she was determined to get these tasks completed. She would show them that she wasn't a waste of space and she would earn her keep. Unknowingly her body was giving off a few sparks from being so angry, "Will I be getting any Mini-Cons like the others?"
"Not sure, you'll have to ask Saberhorn."
"I'll go see him right now," she said as she left to go see the swordsman. She was going to prove to Glowstrike that she wasn't a dumb Predacon. Coming to a stop she realized that she may not need a Mini-Con to help her, "On second thought, I'll ask if Thunderhoof would like to join me."
Steeljaw heads back to his room and Strongarm, he enters the room and finds Strongarm laying on the berth, "Strongarm..."
Strongarm didn't say anything but she rolled onto her side, looking away from him.
"Strongarm, I'm sorry for my outburst earlier. I've never been in love before, I'm still trying to figure out how to do this, I'm sorry I hurt you I honestly didn't mean to."
Strongarm stayed silent, she kept thinking about what Metalsound had told her. It would take some time to trust him, she figured that he wasn't going to let her go that easily either.
Steeljaw walks over and climbs into the berth, turning her over onto her stomach he lays on her back and wraps his arms around her. He holds her arms down so she can't do anything to fight him, he starts kissing her down her neck while whispering, "I'm not giving up on you, I will show you my love for you."
"Steeljaw, get off," she told him firmly.
"No, this is my room and my berth so I can lay wherever and however I want. Besides, I thought you liked me hugging you."
"Not when you have me pinned like this."
"Promise you won't punch me?"
"Yes."
He moves over to lay next to Strongarm so she isn't so pinned down but keeps hugging her. Strongarm slowly sat up, she wasn't sure how he was going to react if she moved too quickly.
"What are you doing?" He asks watching her move.
"I just wanted to sit up," she replied, feeling like she was being watched by a predator.
Steeljaw looks at her, "I'm sorry I'm making you feel weird and uncomfortable."
"Just a little uncomfortable. More cautious than anything," she responded keeping her optics on him.
"I understand, and you have a right to be."
She couldn't think of anything to say. Steeljaw sits up and leans closer to her, he starts kissing her on the back of her neck as he runs a digit down her arm. Strongarm shivered before she pulled away from him, rubbing her arms. She couldn't explain it, she didn't want him to touch her but at the same time, she wanted him to.
"I'm not gonna hurt you Strongarm, and I still stand by my promise to not do anything unless you're ready," he says as he moved in closer and rubs her arm, getting close to her audio receptor.
"Steeljaw, please don't."
Steeljaw rests his helm against hers and sighs. Strongarm let out her own sigh now wanting someone to come save her more than ever.
Metalsound was looking at the monitors, the facility was abandoned but that didn't mean that the security was no longer working. She had gotten what she needed for this mission, "Thunderhoof, we have what we need, I think it's time we leave before we run into the Autobots," she told him as she made her way to leave.
"Alright, let's go."
Transforming she picked up the item she needed and ran for the exit, a small part of her was hoping that the Autobots would come. They then hear the revs of engines in the distance, tossing the package to Thunderhoof she turned towards the sound of the revs, "Take that back to the Island, I'll take care of the Autobots," she growled as her fur started to stand on end. She had no time to argue and she hoped that he would listen.
"Awe, I wanted to stomp some Autobots, but alright," Thunderhoof said before leaving.
Metalsound took her position behind a crate and waited for the Autobots.
The Autobots came up to look at the situation, "Keep a lookout for any 'Cons," Bumblebee commanded as he scouted the area.
"It took you guys long enough," Metalsound's voice echoed throughout the building, "Aren't we missing someone?"
"Show yourself!" Bumblebee said taking his weapon out.
"If I did that you would know where I am," she countered with a giggle. Sending a small bolt she hit Grimlock's tail causing him to yelp in surprise.
"Guys something bit me!"
"What are you doing here Metalsound?"
"Shouldn't it be simple 'Bee? I'm helping the Decepticons, I figured you would see me as one of them by now."
Sideswipe was already looking around until something hit him from behind sending him to the ground, "You know it would help if we knew how she fights," he replied smartly to the lieutenant.
Bumblebee growled to himself, they needed to know how she fights but it would change every time she was in the field.
"All we know is that she uses electricity and she's always jumping around. So stay on alert," Optimus informs them.
"Right!" Sideswipe said in agreement.
Metalsound snarled as she spun her body, her tail making contact with Grimlock's head. He managed to catch her by the tail with his mouth, "That was easy," he grinned as Metalsound dangled from his mouth.
"Good work, Grimlock."
"Don't you think that was a little too easy?" Sideswipe asked noticing a smug look in the wolf's optics.
"Yes. What are you up to Metalsound?" Bumblebee asks giving her a questionable look.
"Shouldn't there be nine of you? Rather odd, I'm rather used to seeing you guys with a certain blue and white femme," she said with a small grin.
"She was taken by Steeljaw," Bumblebee responded, "Have you seen her?"
"I'm not too sure. Steeljaw seems to have locked himself in his room, he won't even talk to me," she replied coolly.
"Does he have Strongarm in there with him or did he put her somewhere?"
Metalsound only shrugged, "As I said, he won't talk to me," she repeated sounding bored.
"Argh come on! Just give us a straight answer you crazy mutt!" Sideswipe growled taking out his Decepticon hunter.
"Calm down Sideswipe. Alright, Metalsound if you don't know where she is then you don't know. Could you find out for us?" Bumblebee speaks up trying to keep the situation calm.
Metalsound wasn't listening to Bumblebee, she just stared at Sideswipe, "Crazy, am I? Says the crazy cousin," she responded as her face slowly turned from smug to her baring her silver fangs, her optics growing as wide as they could go, "Trust me, you don't know crazy!" Curling up her body she let out a shrieking roar as she released a large amount of electricity, causing Grimlock to roar in pain and let her go. The sparks flew wildly in all directions, setting off the fire sprinklers.
By the time Sideswipe looked around the wolf Predacon was already gone, "Darn it! We need to go after her," he raced out of the building.
"Sideswipe stop!" Bumblebee calls to the other mech.
By the time Sideswipe got outside, he couldn't see any tracks from the she-wolf, "Where did she go?!"
"She's gone."
"Darn it! We shouldn't have wasted our time on her! She was just toying with us!" Sideswipe growled as Grimlock joined them, he was still feeling the aftereffects of the attack, "I thought she was close with Steeljaw. Why would she say that she hadn't seen him?"
"I don't know."
"Let's head back to base and cool down while we figure something out," Optimus suggests before transforming and driving back to base. Bumblebee and the others follow him.
