Steeljaw is pacing around back and forth in his room feeling frustrated that Strongarm won't allow him to touch and kiss her, "I just don't understand you femmes! Not too long ago you were all into my touches and kisses, wanting me to hold you and even hugging and kissing me back, now suddenly you don't want me kissing and touching you!"
"That's what happens when you're holding someone against their will," Strongarm muttered.
"Was either this or risk never seeing you again!" Steeljaw shouted before calming himself down, he knew he had to stop yelling before someone heard him and became suspicious because then one would surely find out about an Autobot being on the island.
"And you're overreacting, for all you know I would have come to see you a few days later once things had calmed down," she countered, noticing that he had calmed down, "You said that we were on Decepticon Island?"
"Yes, we're on Decepticon Island, I know it was foolish to bring you here but I didn't know where else to take you."
"You do know what the risks are if someone finds an Autobot here, right?"
"Of course I do!" He growls then calms down again, "I know if they find you then you're done for, but like I said I had no choice. I didn't know where else to take you."
"Are you really that afraid that you would never see me again?"
Steeljaw sighs as he sits down on the floor leaning against a wall, "Yes," he says as he looks down at the floor grimly with his ears pulled back.
"Is it because you lost your parents that you thought you wouldn't see me again?"
"In a way yes," he places his helm in his servos, "I will die if I lose the femme I love," he looks back up at Strongarm with sad optics, "I love you with all my spark, I will die if I can't be with you."
Strongarm started to reach out but she hesitated before she put her servo back down. Something was bugging her though, "What did you do to get those femmes to do what you wanted?" Yes, she was trying to change the topic but she wanted, no, she needed to know.
"Just sweet-talked them, like how I did when I first met you."
"Was there anything else?"
"I see where this is going, yes I sweet-talked femmes and made them believe I was into them and wanted to be with them but I never did any of this, what I just said was true."
"Were you like that with Metalsound? Did you sweet-talk her as you did with the others?"
"No, I didn't, I talked her into joining me but that was all. I had no interest in her and she had nothing for me, all I wanted from her was her aid."
Strongarm stayed quiet for a moment before speaking again, "What are you going to do now? I'm sure that you have things to do around here."
"Yeah I got things to do, but that's the last thing on my processor right now."
"I'm not going anywhere, this is the safest place for me right now. Won't someone come looking for you?" She asked, fearing that a Decepticon could come into the room and know that she was there.
"No, I can go do whatever I want whenever I want."
Just then he got a call from Saberhorn,:: Steeljaw, we are in need of your assistance. ::
Steeljaw snarled before answering,:: On my way. ::
Strongarm would have chuckled but she held it back not wanting Steeljaw to get riled up again. Steeljaw looks at her, "You need to recharge so go ahead and go into recharge, I'll be back in a bit," he starts heading for the door then stops, "Is there some reason why you're trying to get me out of the room?"
"No, I just want to be alone for a while," she replied as she sat on his berth.
"Right," Steeljaw responded as he unlocked the door, he opened it and then stepped out. Before he walks off he turns around and goes back into the room, he walks up to Strongarm and gives her a deep, passionate kiss.
The kiss had taken Strongarm by surprise, as much as she wanted to fight back and push him away she just couldn't do it. No matter how mad she gets at him she can't help but enjoy his kiss, she begins kissing him back but Steeljaw suddenly pulls back. He looks down at her for a second before heading out of the room again, closing and locking the door behind him.
He headed to where Saberhorn was, he could feel his spark breaking into pieces. He knows that it will take time and effort to earn her trust again, but he will do it. He's determined to.
"Hello, Steeljaw," Metalsound greeted with a wide grin.
"Oh, hi Metalsound."
"You ok? You're looking a little blue."
"No, I'm not ok."
"Do you want to talk about it?"
"I'm just feeling sparkbroken because Strongarm won't believe anything I tell her. I feel like I'm losing her and I don't like it," Steeljaw replies in a low voice so no one can hear him.
"Just give her some time, and space," she stressed, "Try to keep yourself occupied," she felt awful for both of them but they needed to work this out on their own, "Instead of trying to touch and kiss her use your words, talk to her. Show her that you're respecting her personal space."
"I've been doing that too, I've been sitting away from her and talking to her and trying to make her understand my feelings, but she's not believing me."
"Trust is a hard thing to earn once it's betrayed. All you can do is give it some time. Trust me on this, I know what I'm talking about."
"Yeah, you're right. Well, I need to be going. Saberhorn wants me for something."
"Ok, good luck," she called after him as she left. She was going to have to check on Strongarm, turning the corner she bumped into Glowstrike.
"Watch where you're going!" Glowstrike says with a snarl.
Metalsound shrank back a little, but stood her ground when facing Glowstrike, "Apologies, Glowstrike," she replied coolly.
"Where are you rushing off to?"
"Nowhere really, I just thought I'd see if I could do anything to help out around here. For some reason Saberhorn is under the impression that I haven't been doing my part, that I refuse to listen to anyone," she growled as she circled the femme.
"I don't know what gave him that impression," she says trying to play it cool.
"Funny, because Steeljaw told me that is what you told Saberhorn," she stopped behind her, "I'm not that easy to get rid of," she said with a hint of a growl.
Glowstrike starts feeling nervous, "Well, I thought that's what I heard, I must have heard wrong."
Backing off Metalsound left to get some Energon, leaving Glowstrike by herself. Glowstrike lets out a big sigh before going on her way.
Unlocking the door Metalsound made her way into Steeljaw's room, locking it behind her, "Strongarm, you awake?"
Strongarm turns around and looks at her, "Yeah, I'm awake."
"I brought you some Energon in case you didn't have anything yet."
"I haven't actually," she says as she sits up and takes the Energon cube.
"I'll have to take that when I leave. I ran into Steeljaw, he's upset but I told him to give you some space. Try not to be too hard on him, I've seen that look in his optics before," she trailed off as she remembered the same sparkbroken look in Dreadwing's optics when he left the Autobots the Hammer of Solis Prime. He was dying, so in a way, Megatron saved him from the torment.
"What do you mean he was upset?"
"He just looked like he was defeated in a battle."
"Really?" She asks starting to feel bad.
"Yes, I know that you're still hurting but so is he."
"You said you saw that look he had in his optics before. When?"
"I saw it the last time I saw Dreadwing."
"What was going on with Dreadwing?"
"He had lost his twin, Skyquake. He was killed in battle when Bumblebee was only a scout. It just destroyed him, I don't know the whole story but he had given us the Hammer of Solis Prime and that was the last time I saw him. I think he knew what he was doing, and he forced Megaton's hand when he attacked Starscream. Even though the little twit deserved it, Megatron chose him over a loyal bot like Dreadwing. Megatron must have seen something the rest of us couldn't."
"And you saw the same look on Steeljaw?"
"I think so, but I don't think he's going to force anyone to kill him. He's not that stupid," she replied, "You can't stay here, it's too dangerous for both of you. Give me a few days to think of a plan."
"Alright. What will happen to Steeljaw if the others find me here?"
"I'm not sure, but they won't find you," Metalsound replied as she heard the Mini-Cons working nearby, "I think I have an idea. Are you finished with the Energon?"
Strongarm gulps down the last bit before handing the cube to her, "Yeah."
Metalsound took the empty cube and headed towards the door, "Just give him a chance, see it as starting over. And get some rest," she told the cadet as she left locking the door behind her. Strongarm sat there thinking hard about what she said.
Metalsound headed towards where the ship's former guards were being held, after a while she found them working on the ship's repairs. The poor things looked exhausted and if one of them would slow down or collapse one of the guards would shoot at them to get them to keep moving. Seeing them like this she realized that she couldn't just leave them either.
