Craig and Omar didn't say anything to each other, but they stood on their spots staring into each other's eyes and feeling their cheeks flushing red. Although there was the sound of the serene summer wind playing around them, the only sound they could hear were the sounds of their beating hearts. Finally, after some minutes had passed, Omar decided to break the silence as he gulped a lump forming in his throat to start talking. "Craig. Glad to see that you could make it. I was afraid you wouldn't come."

Craig felt drops of sweat forming on his forehead as he took a deep breath, relaxed himself, and finally let himself speak. "Uh yeah. Sorry about that. I had to come late because I had a meeting at home." he admitted sheepishly before he resumed. "Anyway, remember how you said to me that you…" he trailed off as Craig closed his eyes and felt the blush spread slowly on his face. "... like, liked me and wanted me to be your, you know, 'more than just a friend' friend?" he finished as Omar's eyes widened a bit in surprise. Craig glanced down and sighed. "Well, I had a talk with my cousin today and she helped me get my worries off my chest, so I've finally made up my mind." he took a deep breath, and Omar prepared himself for what Craig is about to tell him– for better or worse. "I've decided that I do want to hang out with you more, not just as friends but even more than that." He walked up to Omar and placed his staff on his right. "Because hanging out with you has made me the happiest kid in the Creek, as much as it's made you happy since the King left after the Capture the Flag war. So…"

"So, what're you really trying to say Craig?" asked Omar when Craig slowly held out his hands and grabbed his hands with them that made Omar blushed. "I'm saying that…I realize something now." Omar blinked as Craig lifted their hands up to hide his blushing face before he resumed, "That I want to be with you more because I-I-I-I like, like you too Omar. Not because you were the Green Poncho or that you're good with the bow and arrows, but some other things too. You're cool, clever, understanding, easy to talk to, and… you forgive others so easily, even when you were still mad at your best friend, Maya, for ditching you to become Xavier's BFF just because she wanted to be cool." Hearing that made Omar's eyes widened and he was about to speak up until Craig added, "Plus… Well, you're different."

"I'm different? Is that bad? How am I different?" asked Omar with his eyes filled with anxiety as Craig soothed him. "No no! It's okay that you're different, Omar. Not just different from other kids in the Creek, but you're different from some girls I'm friends with. I mean, besides being a boy and all!" he replied, looking sideways and then back at Omar, who still didn't get it. Craig let out a sigh. "Well, for starters, you're way more forgiving than Kit when she got mad at me for ruining her supply of rare red velvet Choco Rolls when it was an accident, and is probably still mad at me for sending her to summer school when the King and his goons started invading our side of the Creek. Kelsey is just a good friend, same with Wildernessa, and as for the other girls, Sparkle Cadet, Sewer Queen, and even the Squashinator, they're good friends too. But they're also kinda like teammates, and even sisters to me." Craig stopped to take a deep breath and finally finished by saying, "but you Omar… you're a lot different from them, and that's why I like you more than any girl in the Creek. Because being different, makes you... well, you." he explained, then let out a sigh, thinking that he might've added too much.

However, Omar's lips curved into a small grin as his eyes sparkled as well as Craig's and they heard their hearts beat as one. "Well, if you like me being different, then I like that I'm different too." he said softly, then asked, "But does that mean you'll be-?" he stopped, then added, "And if you will be, would you still like me if I'm was still the Green Poncho or just… Omar?" he frowned with sadness when Craig moved closer to him and gave him a look of meaning.

"Yes Omar. I've given it some thought. So, it'd be an honor to become your 'more than just a friend' friend. Or as my cousin put it in… boyfriend. And whether you're Omar or the Green Poncho, you're the boy that I long for." As Craig finished with a content smile, Omar smiled back and soon, he leaned closer to him until their foreheads pressed together and they looked each other in the eyes with an emotion they've never known they've felt before– love. "So now that we're… ahem… boyfriends Craig, you don't mind that people will think of us as weird?" Omar asked as Craig shook his head. "Nah. Let them. I'd rather not care as long as we have each other, we'll make it through. Besides, there are other people who are like us anyway."

"Yeah. I can live with that." agreed Omar as the two boys continued their sweet moment together when Craig whispered, "And whether you're Omar or the Green Poncho, you're the boy that I long for." Omar sent him a smile and their hands tightened as the afternoon sun was setting at 1pm. Sitting up in the tree branch, little did they know that Michelle was watching them with a content smile, happy that her former apprentice is with his true love.

Forever and always.

THE END

And that's that, folks! The final chapter of Omar's Confession, where Craig and Omar become an official couple! At least in my fanfic. But I hope that in some future episodes of Season 4 of Craig of the Creek that they do become a canon pairing, just like JP and Maney in Tea Timers' Ball and Kelsey and Stacks in Fire & Ice.
