Locked in/out
"Hey Yang, just let us out of here already!" Ruby demanded, slamming her knuckles against the locked door to creating a heavy knock, ignoring the way that she was stuck between Jaune's body and a mountain of clothes.
"Knock all you want Rubes, you two aren't getting out of there until you make up." Yang's voice replied from the other side of the door, making her sigh.
"Seriously Yang, this isn't the way to get people to make up." Jaune called back to her in agreement, making Yang chuckle.
"And here I thought you would be happy to be locked in a room with Ruby, Lady Killer." The blonde teased with a grin on her face, one that Ruby and Jaune would be able to imagine without any difficulty.
The two of them quickly blushed in response to Yang's words, unable to say anything else as Yang left. Looking up at the ceiling out of awkwardness, a tense silence formed around them both before Jaune sighed.
"I'm sorry Ruby, I didn't realise that they were yours, but how many times do I have to apologise for you to forgive me?" Jaune asked her, accepting that they were trapped in there.
It was quickly made clear that Jaune chose his words badly as Ruby turned around to face him red-faced. "Do you still think that's why I'm upset with you?" She asked him with a frown before she sighed, hands running through her hair.
"I'm sorry, but what else is there? I thought that we were fine. You're my best friend." Jaune told her quickly, making Ruby's eyes glisten.
"I'm sorry, but yeah, you don't understand," she told him with a sigh. "I don't want to just be your friend anymore, Jaune." She admitted to him, leaving him speechless, looking down in pain.
"Oh." He murmured, shocked, unable to look at her. "If that's how you feel, you don't need to be my friend." He told her, misreading what Ruby said, making her eyes widen.
"No, Jaune, that's not what I meant." She quickly told him before she grabbed onto his collar and pulled him in for a kiss that stopped his heart and then kick-started it back up again.
His eyes shut in their kiss, stepping forward to get closer to her as his arms wrapped around her waist, lost in their kiss. Her body was pressed up against the wall, the door handle digging into her back, but she didn't care, lost in their embrace.
It was like she was weightless, her heart racing, as she felt like the only thing that was important to her, was Jaune. She didn't even notice the door anymore; it was like she was falling. Her eyes widened as she felt her back hit the ground, Jaune landing on top of her a moment after, leaving her groaning, a deep red blush on her face.
"Well, that worked even better than I was expecting." The person responsible for all this said with a whistle, blonde hair framing her face before she turned to look at the others. "Hey Nora, how about we do this for you and Ren next?"
"What about you and Blake?" Weiss quickly replied.
In the end, it was more than just Jaune and Ruby who were blushing.
