Summary: Everyone we meet teaches us something, no matter who they are. Or, Obi-Wan reflects on some of the things that those closest to him have taught him. Drabble.
Every Day, A New Lesson
Master Yoda taught Obi-Wan about the Force, how to feel it, how to wield it, how to trust it.
Qui-Gon Jinn taught Obi-Wan to accept the difference of opinions, that the clashing of thoughts between himself and another is natural with even those whom he is closest to.
Anakin Skywalker taught Obi-Wan patience, that training a padawan is no easy feat, that he cannot push for another to do something quicker than their abilities allow. He taught Obi-Wan to adapt to those within his charge, to care for them as his own forebears had him.
They taught him everything.
Almost.
