Sup guys? Lighting Wolf here, back with another story, this one about Mass Effect. Enjoy the 800-word chapter. I don't own Mass Effect, Bioware does.

Primarch Victus glanced around the bridge of the human Admiral's flagship. It was a dreadnought class, smaller than his species made said ships, but it still could charr several cities with its main canon.

Then again? The Turian fleets had been trying to rebuild after their last war. This wasn't going to be the biggest ship he had commanded nor set foot upon from what he heard.

He glanced around the room. It was stark white, prim, proper. It told him a lot as a soldier and former commander. Then again? His actions as a general also seemed to speak for him since he had been promoted to the commander in chief of his people. A lot more power and a damn shame lot more paperwork that he'd rather not shoulder.

The doors opened and the man walked forward. Victus nodded towards them. It had been obvious who they were, he had met with them at least twice since this year.

"How's Earth, Admiral Hackett?" Victus questioned as he folded his arms behind him.

"Still recovering, Primarch. It's only been a year." Hackett said while lowering his head towards the table. "Hard to believe they're both gone, isn't it?" Hackett questioned as the Primarch sighed.

He knew that there were going to be losses. The Turian ruler had ordered to be given the chart of how many Turians had been estimated to have died in the Reaper war. Many of his officers had balked at this or questioned why he wanted it.

Hackett knew why, he had been trying to process the information that had been brought on by the actions of his hand.

"Commander Shepard's death is without a doubt the most tragic loss of the entire Reaper war," Victus stated before he seemed to glance around the bridge. "If you've heard anything about his squadmates? You'd know they're all grieving. It's been a year and nobody in the galaxy is going to forget." Victus stated before he glanced around before he tilted his head before he glanced his head.

"We both know that this was going to be a harder path when it comes to it," Hackett said before he glanced out the window. "Commander Shepard, Admiral Anderson. We lost some good men… But this isn't what the meeting was about. I've been in touch with Garris and the others in the Normandy crew. Something has come up." Hackett stated before he glanced out the window.

"The Batarians? I've heard about it; the war is already over and they're trying to cause more problems. We both know what will happen if something isn't done about them." Victus stated as Hackett nodded.

"I heard you're assigning one of your… Blackwatch operatives command of a Turian warship, you're putting a team together, one like Commander Shepard had, aren't you?" Hackett stated before he seemed to glance around.

"I am, the Asari, the Turians? All of us are coming together. The Reaper changed everything for all of the galaxies." Victus stated before he pushed a few buttons. "Shall we discuss details of the plan, Admiral?" Victus questioned as Hackett stared at the hologram that came up.

It was a hologram of a Turian cruiser or a dreadnought. He could never tell with their design.

"Captain Vipius, commander of the THS Kursk." Victus stated before that there was a raised eyebrow. "Your commander showed us something. Humans have the teeth to fight anyone and anything in the galaxy. Turians respect that if it wasn't for Commander Shepard? We damn well wouldn't be here. The prototype we're building? It will be named after something important, like the Normandy. If there's one thing, I plan on doing? It's making sure people remember how Commander Shepard is remembered in the galaxy." Victus stated before he crossed his arms.

"Then I expect you realize there's going to be a list of recruits from ALL species, Primarch? Every species is working towards that and I'd expect the Turians to realize what's going on sooner or later?" Victus heard as he nodded and tapped a few buttons on the console.

He knew what it meant, he knew what had come and he wasn't going to pass up a chance to repay humanity for their sacrifices.
