When Fairytales Connect (Prologue)
Apple White's story may have come earlier than expected. During the whole Raven and Evil Queen showdown, Apple was poisoned to sleep and woken up by none other than Darling Charming! But now it's been years now, all of her high school friends were now living out their happily ever afters. Except for her.
What was she supposed to do? She lived out her dream already. Even Raven was part of her story without it ending so nasty. She'd lie awake on her bed, thinking to herself.
It can't be all too bad.
Rosabella lived her fairytale destiny with Daring. Raven fulfilled her destiny. Who was left now?
That was when Apple shot up from where she was sitting. She immediately pulled out her mirror phone with the most Spell-tastic idea! Her finger scrolled down a list of contacts before stopping at the name "Briar Beauty"
"There she is!" Apple sang to herself.
She tapped on the contact and allowed the phone to ring... and ring... and ring... The ringing continued for far too long until it spoke, "This is Briar! I'm either out partying or sleeping for years... leave a message after the beep!"
The phone made a beeping sound and Apple quickly hung up.
"She can't be," Apple refuses to assume the worst, "It only makes sense for her to be sleeping... It is her destiny after all..."
Apple sat in silence for a moment, reflecting on her life. How her mom raised her to be the perfect royal. The way she learned from Raven and her peers from school. And to the point where she is now. All dolled up on her king-sized bed, waiting for something new to happen in her life.
Could this be what Raven was talking about all along? What's the point of living when you already know how your life is planned out? Where is the excitement and the thrill of wondering what's next?
She couldn't just stand by and watch her friends live out the part they were destined to play. It may have been a rash decision, but Apple was done playing little miss perfect. She would now be helping everyone else get on the right track for their stories.
