Kazuma let out a breath.

He could feel his heart beating inside his chest, normally he would have made a bold declaration or said an amazing speech, that told his opponent and the surrounding people if there were any of who he was.

Yet on this occasion, he didn't feel like giving any speeches.

Normally if the person or monster was too strong for him, he would either grave Aqua and run or teleport away.

Yet as Aqua trembled behind him as she held on o him tightly, he couldn't feel any fear, nor could he feel any of the confidence that allowed him to run or stand tall in front of his opponent.

No, what he felt was an incredible amount of rage, so much that if Aqua hadn't been holding on to him he would have used everything at his disposal to kill the man in front of him even if he was a human.

Kazuma let out a breath.

The man in front of him had the ora of a monster, not to mention the appearance of one.

Under normal circumstances, the man could have passed off as a bodybuilder or a martial artist that assed way too much time in the gym.

Kazuma listed to the people around him it was impossible to run away now, the crowd had formed in a way that left me than enough room for the man and him to fight, but at the same time, they had completely circled them.

So if he tried to run away and get Aqua to a safe place, she would only get caught by the monster.

"Aqua, get out of here," Kazuma said to Aqua

For a brief moment Aqua stopped trembling and stared at the back of Kazuma's head, she suddenly felt something beyond dread.

She had known Kazuma long enough to know when he knew that he was in way over his head, or when he was about to kill something, someone, and yet she had never once heard the cold and hate-filled tone she had just heard coming from him.

Aqua let goofKazumas sweater and began to walk away from him towards the crowd who just parted and let her pass through, she could feel that man's eyes on her but she didn't care, she was more afraid of what Kazuma was about to do and what he might become.

Aqua continued to walk until she found the sweet shot that she and Kazuma visited from time to time, just to enjoy the cakes and drink tea together.

She didn't order anything, she just sat on the same chair she usually sat on, look at the empty chair in front of her, and broke down crying.

She never noticed the young daughter of the sweet shop owners come out to greet her, or when she ran back inside to get her parents.

She never even realized that they had led her inside to try and hid her from the man that would soon be looking for her.

Kazuma let out a breath.

The voices of the crowd had become more and more distant the further Aqua walked away, he watched as the man licked his lips as he watched qua leave.

Kazuma knew that he couldn't fight this person, like if he was a person, no he had to fight the man in front of him as if he was fighting a high-level monster.

Kazuma took off his sweater so that he didn't have anything holding him back anymore, he didn't care what anyone in the crowd or anyone else said, he would use every trick and skill that he knew to win this fight because he had to.

As his sweater fell onto the ground both he and the man locked yes, neither of them said anything and soon Kazuma found himself moving faster than he had in months.

His dodge and escape skills had activated, automatically allowing him to dodge his opponent's attacks.

His opponent was easily six feet tall and covered in muscles and yet he was moving at a speed that would normally tear a person's muscles apart.

Kazuma backflipped, moved to the left, right jumped into the sky, and threw himself onto the ground just o avoid getting hit, yet the man attacking him looked as if he wasn't even trying.

Kazuma began to concentrate and began to use his drain skill to take magic from the air all the while he did his best not to get hit.

He soon ran out of the room as he found himself in front of the crowd of people but they quickly gt out of the way as the man chased after him.

As the man threw a punch at him Kazuma used his dodge skill but instead of trying to get away, he used it to get close to his opponent.

When he was close enough, Kazuma used his blast skill over and over again but made it explode when he punched the man in the chest.

To the people watching the fight, the fight it looked as if every time Kazuma landed a hit on the man he hit him so hard that his punches sounded like bullets.

Blast magic is weaker than explosion magic, but it's nothing to laugh about, if the explosion spell is the same as a nuclear weapon when it's at its weakest, then the Blat spell is dynamite when it's at its weakest.

Kazuma stopped punching and waited for the man to fall, and yet as the man leaned forward, Kazuma could only feel his eyes widen as the man said.

"That tickles"

It was less than a second, but in that time Kzuma's skills all blended just to give him enough room to catch his breath.

His dodge skill - escape skill and teleporting skill all combined to allow him to escape the man's punch that destroyed the street they were on.

Kazuma heard the people scream in terror but he didn't have time to care, as he quickly took out the wire he kept in his pocket and used it to wrap around the man hoping that could restrain him, or cut the man enough that he wouldn't have to us his strongest attacks.

To the onlookers and the people who were watching the fight thanks to the camera crew that shad showed up.

It looked as if Kazuma had jumped over the man and wrapped the wire around the man, the wire immediately began to dig into the man's ski, and yet the man didn't even feel it.

In the sweets shop, Aqua could only say Kazumas name as she watched the ongoing fight, she wished that she could help him, but her powers were still sealed and she wouldn't be able to use them until the next day when the time limit the higher-ups placed on her finally ended.

Kazuma looked a the man as he broke free from the restraint Kazuma placed on him.

Kazuma took in a deep breath and accepted that he had no other choice but to kill the monster in front of him.

Maybe a small part of him wished that he didn't have to kill another person, at least not in this world, but the thing in front of him wasn't a person, it was a monster.

Kazuma took a deep breath and began to use the advanced version of his drain skill.

He noticed that both the man and the crowd behind him could sense the danger, yet as the man charged at him, th sound of a whistle made the man stop before he could reach Kazuma who had already prepared himself to use his strongest spell.

"I'm sorry sir, but you said that if you ever fought anyone and the time ran out then it was their win," a man said to the monster as he showed him an hourglass that had all of the sam on the bottom half.

'You win, she yours. I won't touch her" Yuujiro Hanma said to Kazuma

He stood in front of Kazuma before grinning at him, the two of them were inches away from each other, had the fight lasted just a little bit longer, one of them or both of them would have been dead.

Kazuma stood as straight as he could and tried to look as intimidating as possible, even if he monster toward over him.

Yuujiro Hanma just grinned, before turning around and walking away, he wanted to continue the fight and would fight Kazuma again one day, but he was satisfied to know that there was someone that could last this long against him.
