The classroom was filled with students that were either talking to each other or trying to keep themselves from being noticed.

As Kuwabara opened the door so that they could enter the classroom, Kazuma suddenly noticed that everyone inside had their eyes on him, no it was more like they were sizing him and his friends.

"What?' Ranma said to everyone but no one answered instead they just went back to doing whatever they were doing before their group had entered the classroom.

"Ranma- Kuwabara sitdown, Kazuma- Aqua we all the fight yesterday so stop acting like a scared little kid and go sit down," their teacher said to them as he walked into the classroom and slammed his teacher's book on the desk.

Kazuma and his friends sat down and tried to understand what the teacher was talking about as he tried to teach them history.

In the outside of the class, several gangs were having a meeting, while non of them were together in the same spot, they all had the same reason to be gathered together.

"He doesn't look so tough," one of the delinquents said to his friends

"Yeah but those punches of his are the real," another one said

"I'm not surprised after all the guy hangs out with Kuwabara and Ranma, and those guys are well known to fight everyone and anyone that wants a piece of them" another once said to his friends.

"Still, the guy doesn't want to join anyone, and unless we want to start a war with him, and the other schools, that girl of his is off-limits," one of the delinquents said to his friends, he immediately noticed the disappointed looks that several of the people present had.

It wasn't a mystery to anyone what Ranma was capable of, the guy was well known to be able to fight entire gangs and win, it didn't matter if those gangs were armed he would always win.

Eventually, the local gangs learned to leave him alone and he in turn would leave them alone.

So everyone present including the bosses knew that targeting anyone close to the guy was a bad idea.

Kuwabara was known to pick fights with everybody, unlike Ranma he didn't always win, but before transferring schools, he had somehow managed to make friends with a couple of strong people who had reputations just as bad as his.

Kazuma on the other hand was a mystery, in everyone's eyes, he was nothing more than an ordinary guy, someone that had dropped out of school and was trying to graduate and turn his life around.

That girl of his was the same, if anything it was a mystery why no one had heard anything about her, Aqua was the kind f girl lowlifes like them would have their way with.

If what they saw on the t.v yesterday was real then that was exactly what was going to happen to her...

"Maybe that's why she sticks to him like glue," one of the delinquents said to

It made sense, after all, if they were in this school then it was more than likely that someone had to have tried something, so it made sense that Aqua stuck to Kazuma because she knows just how strong he is.

In the end, all of the school's delinquents agreed that it was better for all of them just to leave the guy alone, after all, he hadn't broken any of the rules and hadn't fought anyone in school.

Everyone inside of the school immediately rose from their seats and the teacher took out a pack of cigarettes and began to smoke one of them before charging anyone that wanted a cigarette a dollar for it.

"Man what a rip of" one of the students complained before handing the teacher the dollar.

It was lunchtime and as usual, everyone that had a group quickly got together and anyone that didn't eat alone.

Kazuma- Kuwabara- Ranma and Aqua left the school and went to a nearby convenience store that sold hot food.

By this time the cafeteria would already be full and both the front yard ad the back yard of the school were split between the different gangs who usually sat in the same place they always did.

The classroom wasn't an option, because if someone wasn't getting bullied, then someone was fighting and would end up ruining lunch for everyone.

Hell, the school roof wants an option because anyone that went up there was either betting on a fight ao participating in one.

And finally, the school restrooms weren't an option because a lot of students just passed the time in there causing problems for anyone that they didn't like.

So the only ones that ate in school were the ones that had enough friends to keep themselves safe or loners that didn't talk to anyone.

There was an unspoken rule that everyone in the school followed because the convenience store was the only place that sold hot food at a cheap price no one bother the store owner or his family.

Meaning that if anyone ever caused problems for them the rest of the school would deal with the trouble makers.

For several of the students, the store was the only place where they could get a hot meal, so they usually ate there every day.

They soon arrived at the store and as usual, the store was full of hungry students, unlike the school, the store only had one thing on the menu and that was whatever the store owner's wife cooked.

Usually, it was something simple like chicken soup or hot rice with ketchup but everyone was thankful for the food they managed to get their hands on.

The store was located on a crossroads that led to different schools.

There were three other schools just like the one they were attending.

It was as if the different districts or who knows what group of people decided to get all of the trouble makers from the different schools and put them all in one place.

Regardless there was an uneasy peace treaty between the schools.

No one messes with anyone in the stores that sold food to them, anyone can buy what they want in those stores but they have to eat it on their side, and finally.

The last rule was something Kazuma decided it was better not to think about, things like rape and people dying did happen but both he and Aqua managed to stay away from those things and if it was up to him they would never see any of it.

Kazuma and Ranma had just gotten their hands on a bow of white rice and mayonnaise when they heard the sound of a group of guys whistling.

They turned to where the sound was coming from and saw a group of boys surrounding a girl from another school, Ranma was about to hand Kazuma his bow when Kuwabara stopped him.

"You know the rules, not here not now," Kuwabara said to Ranma

'But we can't just do nothing" Ranma said t Kuwabara

"Relax, there are rules for a reason look," Kuwabara said to Ranma as a group from another school left their food on the sidewalk and walked over to the side where the other group was messing with the girl.

The group that had circled the girl immediately backed away and let her run back to her side where the guys that were wearing the same uniform as her immediately put her behind them

No one said anything, no one did anything, everyone just went back t their plates of food and started eating.

"Don't worry about it, those guys broke the rules, they aren't going to get off scot-free," Kuwabara said to Ranma.

Both Kazuma and Aqua kept on looking at the group of boys and noticed that everyone else had their eyes on them, including the people that had the same uniforms as them.

"Wha do you mean?" Kazuma asked Kuwabara

"Look around you no one's fighting because no one wants to go without eating"

'What if something happens and someone calls the police, or worse the stores stop selling to us." those guys won't be coming back for a couple of days Kuwabara said to Kazuma
