Hate and Marriage

The big day had arrived. The soon-to-be-wedded couple were in their respective rooms getting ready and the wedding party was milling around the side room of the church. Guests were being escorted to seats based on which family invited them.

David Vega knocked on the door, "Everyone decent?"

"Yes, Dad."

He entered and stopped, "Sweetheart, you look beautiful. Like your mother the day we married." He glanced at his wife who was helping with the bride's hair and added, "Like her, you'll only become more beautiful as time goes by."

"Thank you, honey," the mother of the bride said. "And you do look beautiful, baby."

"He's right. I can't believe I'm saying this but you look incredible and so happy," the younger Vega said to her sister.

"Thanks, Sis." They hugged.

Holly hugged her husband and kissed him lightly on the lips, "Nice save, Detective."

"Hey! I mean every word."

"Okay, we'll go with that."

David turned towards his little girl who would no longer be his in a few minutes. "You ready? It's time."

She nodded and he led her to the door. "Let's go and get this over with..."

It was a joke but, at the same time, he wished he had his little girls back. 'What father doesn't?'

Soon, the organ started and the wedding party started down the aisle. The pairs were cordial until the Best Person and Maid of Honor sneered at each other as they met at the back of the chapel before walking up the aisle to the altar.

Shortly after, the organist began the Wedding March and David led his daughter down the aisle to meet her life partner. After the traditional hand shakes, hugs and threatening looks, David returned to sit by his wife.

The priest began the ceremony, "Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to witness the joining of Catrina Vega and Beckett Oliver in holy matrimony..."

~flashback (of a sort)~

In the years after graduation from Hollywood Arts, the old gang had varying degrees of success.

Beck landed a role on a drama for ABC Family. He was the bad boy in town who actually became the quiet hero of the saga. It ran for three years and he made a name for himself in Hollywood as a talented and reliable actor. After the show ran it's course, he started back to college and got his Bachelor of Arts degree in theater at NYU. While he was attending school, part-time, he ended up doing an off-Broadway show that ended up on the Great White Way and ran for over a year before he moved onto another drama that was getting award buzz.

While he was in New York, he met Trina at a club in the Village. She was on 'Saturday Night Live' and becoming a headliner on the show. She was one of the anchors of Weekend Update as well as a writer and sketch comedy artist. She had been approached by two studios for comedy movies but she passed on them, luckily. They both tanked at the box office.

The Hollywood Arts alums started to see each other just because they were old acquaintances, then friends. This quickly became more serious as Beck started to see Trina as a fun, funny, sexy lady. They were engaged in a little over six months from that meeting in the Village. A southern California wedding was agreed to so all the family and friends could attend before the couple returned to New York.

Andre was a popular session musician as well as a moderately successful singer and performer. He had two albums under his belt as well as production credit on several other albums. His star was rising in the industry – not meteoric but steadily and quickly. Beyond performing, he was hoping to become the next Quincy Jones with his fingers in music, movies and television production. He was already started on his journey.

Robbie, a successful stand-up comic in California and beyond, finally married Cat who was a set designer and wardrobe expert often in demand with the major studios. They were already expecting their first child – who Rob promised would not be named Rex.

Tori went to Julliard and began singing and recording more and more. Her early work with Neutronium was instrumental in getting her the exposure she needed. Returning to L.A. helped her grow in fame as she worked with some of the other greats in the industry – Mason having returned to his native England for tax reasons. Two Eps sold very well. Then, her first real album went gold and she had two top 100 hits – one made it to 13 on Billboard and the other to 17. Her next did even better but she was atill just a hair away from Platinum in sales but was already at work on her latest effort.

Jade graduated UCLA Film School in three years and got her Masters at USC in a year and a half. In that time, she had several successful student films that garnered praise and some recognition. This allowed her to work on professional films as an unpaid intern before she finished school. From there, with her obvious talent, and her persuasive ability (not involving sharp objects but rather tact and diplomacy learned in school), she managed to get a directorial shot on a small budget thriller. It became a hit which made five times the production costs. From there, she rose steadily as a film-maker.

~end flashback~

As the ceremony progressed, Tori forced herself not to glare across the aisle at Jade. When they met as the happy couple was preparing the wedding, it was like they were back to the first weeks when Tori came to Hollywood Arts. Verbal catfights were common. In the interim, while the future newlyweds flew back to the Big Apple for some contractual work Trina had before the end of the SNL season and, while Beck could step away from the play he was currently headlining, he stepped back into the role for several weeks, the two old frenemies were worse than ever. Even with the warning that Jade would not be Best Person and Tori would not be Maid of Honor unless they agreed to get along – at least on the surface.

Even so, when they met again before the rehearsal, Jade said, in her faux Tori voice, "Why, my, my... Bless my soul, if it isn't Tori Vega."

"I don't talk like that!"

"No, I suppose not. Now that you're a big deal in the music industry."

"I hoped we could get along now but I guess we can't."

Jade nodded, "Guess not."

"Then let's just get through this so your ex and my sister can get on with their lives..."

"Beck sure did lower his standards after..." Jade ended abruptly.

Tori found herself standing up for her sister, "My sister has high standards! The fact that she was willing to take in your throw-away..."

"Throwaway?! Why..."

Beck stepped in then, "Hey! Let's be civil, please. I love Trina, okay? And she's not the loser we thought she was in school. We just didn't realize how talented she was in other areas. AND, she didn't take me in. We met again and decided we liked each other's company. One thing led to another and now we're getting married.

"Jade, you have a problem with this? Just go back to your studio droogs. Tori, I'm thankful you've been so supportive of our relationship but any more of this fighting and Cat will be Maid of Honor and you'll just be a guest of the bride." He stared at each of the girls then said to Tori, "If that…"

As far as Jade was concerned, that droog comment was the biggest insult. She hated sycophants worse than anything. She almost gave up, but she decided to stick it out. Even as she professed that she still liked Beck and wanted to support him – even in this monumental mistake, she made the point that Vega had already pissed her off again and again.

Beck gave her a smile and nodded his thanks when he saw Jade stayed. He was dismayed that the two girls seemed to be back to the point where Tori joined HA. But he still hoped there was a chance to mend things between his two best gal pals. He had convinced his fiancé to let him make Jade his best man – best person. And he was determined she would be. If she behaved…

As it turned out, outside of the cold glances between the two at the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner, they managed not to say anything venomous while near anyone involved in the wedding.

After the ceremony, the wedding party and the guests retired to a nearby hall that had been rented for the reception. The food was catered by the Gobbu Gibson team who recently opened a subsidiary in the Southland after rave success in Seattle. Music was provided by DJ Mustang, Andre's old friend who had become the go-to DJ for Keenan when he was in town and partying.

At the reception, after Jade toasted the happy couple, the bride and groom took their traditional turn on the dance floor. Then the wedding party joined. Tori and Jade glared at each other again but managed to hold each other – very loosely with daylight easily visible between them – to dance with the newlyweds. It could be seen that words were exchanged between the girls.

Aa the rest of the wedding party joined the dance, a very pregnant Cat Shapiro hissed at her friends, "Behave!"

Robbie just shrugged and led his wife across the dance floor.

Before long, there were hissed words and angry whispers between the Best Person and the Maid of Honor grew in volume. They pulled apart and managed not to throw down. But, as Robbie mentioned later to Andre, "If they had heat vision, we'd all be ash!"

Loudly enough to be heard by the crowd, Jade said, "FINE! Who needs a prima donna like you?!"

In an equally loud tone, Tori said, "Drop dead, you…FREAK!"

She turned and stormed out. Jade glared at everyone before she left.

Andre took the mike, "Heh-heh, that was our floor show specially staged especially for this wedding… Please enjoy yourself. The bar is open and the booze is top notch." Seeing Sikowitz, he amended that, "Top nootch."

Jade passed Tori on the street and sped up. A few minutes later, Jade was whipping into the underground parking of the Santa Monica condo her father owned and was renting to her for about half the market price. She stood and leaned against her cherry black '68 Challenger, the same model in the classic chase scene in 'Bullitt'.

A few minutes later, a three year old Saab pulled in next to her. Tori got out, the glare locked on her face. Jade glared back then her face softened as she said, "We're clear. No one else left."

"Oh thank God! I was having trouble keeping a straight face…" Tori replied.

"Straight? I think not," Jade said as she grabbed Tori's not-so straight face and kissed her, her sweet supple tongue slipping easily into Tori's mouth to be met by Tori's eager tongue.

Forcing herself to stop while they were still outside Jade's apartment, Tori said, "It was all I could do not to grab you and take you right there in the chapel. You look so hot in that tuxedo! Then dancing… I wanted to hold you so tightly…"

"Well, you look pretty damned hot in that bridesmaid dress," Jade replied. "But I wanna look at you out of it!"

Tori reached up and toyed with the bow tie, pulling one end and undoing it. Her other hand came up and she began undoing the studs on the ruffled shirt. "When you return the tux, forget the ruffled shirt…"

Jade grabbed one of those hands and pulled Tori into the condo's elevator.

~flashback~

When Tori returned from Juilliard and began working in the L.A. music scene, she made a point of calling her friends to reconnect. Jade was out of the country working on a film project on the Canary Islands at the time. As second unit director, she was deeply involved in filming the Marvel Cinematic Universe story of "The Eternals". Then she had to move with the team to Las Palmas and Gallica Spain before more location work in England.

Andre and Tori got together regularly to hang out and also professionally. Their best friend status was quickly renewed. As was her relationship with Cat and Robbie. As a result, she was Cat's Maid of Honor when the Shapiros got hitched.

Beck was in New York but she maintained contact with him and, of course, with her sister. She was the most surprised to find out they were dating and the most thrilled when she learned of the engagement.

The day she contacted Jade, she left a message. Jade sent an ambiguous text a couple of days later, after Tori began to believe the former frenemy wasn't interested in renewing old friendships.

'I'll be over in forty-five minutes.'

On the dot, Jade was at the door and then in the Vega home. They began to hang out more and more. When Tori was about to let everyone know they were friends, Jade slapped the phone out of her hands.

"Hey!"

"Wait. Don't get all texty yet. Let's have some fun with this. Beck told me you were in town and asked me to get in touch with you. I was out of the country working on that movie and decided to wait until I was back in town. He took my reluctance to mean I still didn't like you."

"So? And why didn't you contact me when you got back?"

"I got back late last night. I was still at Heathrow when you left your voice mail. By the time I got back, I was exhausted. Anyway, how 'bout we play up the old animosity angle? And really sell it."

"I don't know… Why?"

"Your sister still hates me. I don't hate her anymore – not since I found out how good she is for Beck. But…if we play this up…what a wedding present for her! We growl and glare and generally act like we want to kill each other. Maybe even a cat fight at the reception?"

"But, just to be clear, we're not really serious?" Tori couldn't help but remember the trip through Shadow Creek Park.

"No, we're not." Jade got up and sat next to Tori on her half of the couch. "I have something to tell you, Tori…"

Tori gulped, expecting the worst but nodded. What happened next took her breath away. Jade grabbed her and kissed her with a passion that had been missing in all Tori's other relationships.

After several minutes of making out, including a lot of exciting French kissing, Tori gasped, "Why did you… I mean I like it. Hell, I loved it but… How did you know I wouldn't…? You know, slap you or… Shut up!"

Jade barked out a pleased laugh - that was the Tori she missed. "Right after graduation, I told Cat I was bisexual. She kinda figured it out when she caught me with Sam on the couch fooling around. She told me you admitted it to her too. So, I put two and two together and hoped for the best."

"What if it had been twenty-two?"

"Huh?"

"Never mind, Hot Lips." Tori initiated the next bout of kissing.

From there, when anyone was around, they pretended they hadn't seen each other since Tori had left for New York and Julliard. When they did "meet", they acted like total ganks to each other. The cat fight during the reception never happened because they had become too physical and any touching got their motors running and it would be all they could do to yell at each other and not to hump each other on the dance floor.

~end flashback~

"I hope they went their separate ways," Andre said quietly to Cat and Robbie.

"Yeah, I'd hate Trina to lose her sister on her wedding day," Robbie agreed.

Cat just gasped, "They wouldn't!"

Tori already had Jade's boobs on full display as the elevator passed the lobby, the shirt fully opened and her bra pushed up over her full tits. Before they got to the fifth floor, she had already sucked and nibbled on both eraser-sized nipples as Jade held Tori's head to her bosom. The singer's hand had also slid into the darker girl's pants to find her dripping-wet crotch. As the bell dinged and the doors opened on Jade's floor, she pulled Tori's hand from her pants. "Easy babe. I've got to walk the hall."

Tori sucked on her wet fingers as she followed Jade, who didn't bother to cover her chest, down the hall to her condo. As she unlocked the door, Tori's hands were on her ass, squeezing the cheeks even as she was nuzzling Jade's neck through her long, dark locks. "You smell sexy."

Jade could only purr, "Tor… Please…"

"I'll please you, baby. Just get that damned door open."

Somehow, with the sweet distraction, Jade managed to get her key into the lock and opened the door. The lovers almost fell into the apartment but Jade managed to maintain her balance and pulled Tori in and around her body before she slammed the door. Tori had her up against the door and was kissing her passionately, the heat between the pair nearly incendiary.

Pants loosened, they slipped to Jade's ankles as Tori pushed the black, silk panties down. Breaking the hot kiss, she knelt before Jade and began to kiss the former goth's mons, her tongue sliding everywhere in and around Jade's mound. She sealed her lips to Jade's nether lips in a succulent, sexy French kiss, her tongue delving deep into Jade's core. Jade's cum was flowing and pulsed over Tori's tongue. Nectar of the gods to the singer.

Looking down at that beautiful face pressed into her sex, Jade was panting and knew she was close. So close.

With a cry, Jade climaxed on Tori's face, her cum flowing over the singer's lips and tongue as Jade leaned on her lover to remain upright.

With a smile, Tori continued to lick and suck Jade's pussy. She loved to pleasure the paler girl and was addicted to the taste of Jade's cum. So, her tongue continued to push into the heated, aroused labia then up to the engorged clitoris then back down to the sopping wet slit.

Feeling Jade's wetness on her face was a joy to Tori and she wanted more. She began a powerful thrusting in and out of Jade's netherlips until Jade whispered, "Tori, please… Bedroom…"

Reluctantly, Tori rose and kissed Jade, letting the former Goth taste herself as Tori always did when she went down on Jade. Jade licked at the cum-slicked tongue that slid into her mouth then Tori's cheeks and chin. She loved her taste almost as much as Tori did and almost as much as she loved the taste of the singer.

The bride, giddy with delight, leaned towards her new husband, "I think Tori will finally take care of Jade!"

"I dunno. Jade's pretty good too," Beck countered. "I can see her coming out on top."

The girls in question were now gloriously naked in Jade's Queen-sized bed. Kissing each other senseless, Jade rolled on top of Tori then broke the kiss to say, "Stay."

Moving so she was ready to sit on Tori's face, she lowered her hips until she felt that lovely tongue pressing into her again. She lowered her face to Tori's brown-furred mound and began to lick the girl beneath her.

Tori's flavor filled Jade's senses – the taste flowing over her tongue and the aroma filling her nostrils – spurred Jade to bring Tori her first climax.

"You'd think those two would finally admit why they're always at each other's throats!"

Robbie nodded, "One of these days, those girls will realize they were made for each other."

A very pregnant Cat held Robbie as close as she could while they danced. "But now... You think they'll be alright?"

"Don't worry Kitty-Cat, I'm sure they're licking their wounds by now…"

Still in the classic 69, the girls molded together. Each of their bodies seemed to be part of a whole that was complete when they were together intimately.

While lapping up Jade's juices, Tori thought, 'I love this woman. I really do. I want to be with her forever…'

For some reason, she had yet to voice those thoughts as had Jade who felt the same way, "Tori and I belong together. I wish we had known this all those years ago but… I want her in my life. I want her as my life. I need her. Today…"

The thought chain was broken when Jade climaxed again, flooding Tori again with her nectar. Jade's cry into Tori was the last little bit to get her to cum on Jade's face, even as that supple tongue shoved deep into Tori.

Seconds later, they rolled apart, their sweaty bodies lying next to each other, panting as the collected themselves.

Finally, Tori managed to move up to sit against the headboard with one of the pillows behind her. Jade moved around to lay her head on Tori's stomach, her eyes on the brown triangle of fur between Tori's legs.

Tori slowly combed her fingers through Jade's no-longer styled hair, enjoying the silky texture. Jade brought one hand up to comb Tori's pubic patch.

Almost simultaneously, Tori and Jade spoke each other's name.

Jade won out and said, "Tori, I have something to tell you and… Where the hell is it? Dammit!"

Her fingers slid into Tori, causing her to gasp at the sudden intrusion. The fingers moved around a little then Jade said, "Ah! There it is!"

Pulling her fingers from Tori's pussy, she held up a diamond ring. "Tori, I haven't said it yet but I love you. Only you. I want you for my wife and my life. Will you…?"

Tori grabbed Jade, breaking her question, yelling, "YES! If course! YES! YES! YES!"

Jade slipped the damp ring onto Tori's finger and they kissed, a long, loving kiss.

"Oh Jade, it's beautiful! I have one too but it's at home and…"

"Shut up and kiss me, Tori."

As the reception wound down, the bride and groom were saying their good byes to everyone before heading to the Vega house to change and grab their luggage for their Hawaiian honeymoon.

Sensing a cosmic shift, Trina muttered, "Uh-oh…"

"Hmm? You say something, sweetheart?" Beck asked.

"Wha…? No. I mean I have this feeling but… Never mind, lets get this honeymoon on the road." Then, with a wicked smile, she added, "I bet we can leave the sunblock here…"

"When do we tell everyone?" Tori asked.

"Well, I'd say now but I think you'd rather we waited, right?"

"Yeah, at least until their honeymoon is over."

"Agreed. Let Trina have her little triumph. We have a lifetime to show her how wrong she's been about me!"

Jade got up and held out her hand to Tori, "Wanna take a shower?"

"I thought you'd never ask," Tori replied with a sexy smile as she took her fiancé's hand in hers.
