Solo and Kuryakin sat in their office not doing anything of importance; all their paperwork was caught up, mostly thanks to the Russian and his dexterity at touch-typing.

At the moment he was reading a science journal while Napoleon was playing tiddly-winks with a pile of paperclips. He wasn't having much luck at having the clips land in his target...that being his ashtray.

"Illya, how about a riddle? I have one I bet you can't figure out."

"Oh really," Kuryakin's reading glasses slipped down to the tip of his nose.

"I will take that challenge. If I come up with an answer, the prize must be for you to buy lunch for the rest of the week."

"Deal, "Napoleon slyly smiled. He knew he had a strange one that would stump his partner.

"Okay tovarisch, here it goes. Pay close attention."

"I am waiting with baited breath."

"If a chicken and a half can lay an egg and a half in a day and a half, how long would it take for a grasshopper with a wooden leg to kick all of the seeds out of a dill pickle?" *

"What?"

Napoleon repeated the riddle and he sat there watching in amusement as his partner tried to puzzle it out; of course there was no answer as it was just a joke.

"Aha!" Illya clapped his hands together. "The answer is Pie."

"What? Pi?" Now it was Napoleon's turn to be confused.

"Yes, it is Pie. P-I-E...something I am going to hit you in the face with for trying to test me. And besides I win. You will pay for lunch for the rest of the week."

"Illya there was no answer, it was a nonsense riddle."

"Ah but I did say, to which you agreed, that If I came up with an answer, the prize must be for you to buy lunch for the rest of the week. And I did come up with an answer."

"That you did, that you did, BUT, you didn't specify for whom I'd be buying lunch for the rest of the week. Gotcha!"

"We got each other," Illya began to laugh, as did Napoleon. They laughed so hard that their faces turned purple.

Once they stopped, and caught their breath Napoleon spoke. "Well, that took all of three minutes, now what do you want to do?"

"I could teach you a proper French accent." Illya ducked as a notepad was tossed in his direction...
