"Look, Hak! Don't they look like little bunnies with black ears?" Yona was crouched down, looking at little sea slugs.
"Yeah, they do." Hak answered in his much deeper voice.
"Do you remember...?" Yona cut herself off; betrayal is a hard reality to get your head around. ...the time when Soo-Won, you, and I found a bunch of baby rabbits?
"That was fun." Hak answered, though even his voice sounded stiff.
"Yeah." Yona bit her lip; memories of them are just lost in hopeless longing of friendship lost.
"You found some Sea Bunnies?" And Jae-Ha's here to break the now deflated mood.
"I guess so." Hak shrugged.
"They really do look like bunnies." Yona offered, to keep the silence from spreading.
"They were even named for it." Jae-Ha even managed to sound amused.
"Thank you." Yona found herself whispering; sometimes Jae-Ha was really like a hero.
"What for?" And the amused lilt to his voice couldn't mask the fact that he seemed to know already how much they'd needed a distraction and good cheer.
"You know." Hak scolded him with a thankful smile of his own.
All Jae-Ha did was shrug, not denying knowing but not admitting it either.
Family really did look out for each other after all.
