Magnus and Alexander visited the seer's shop first after breakfast. Maryse was pleased to see her son and hugged tightly. He was a little wooden about it but did hug back. He hadn't reconciled with being stuck in a cave via an egg for so long.

"Mom, stop." Alec tried to free himself but she wasn't having it. It wasn't quite a death grip but with dragons, it can be a hardy hold none the less.

She rubbed his face with her hands and while he knew what she was doing, he wasn't going to say anything. It seemed everyone was concerned about his well being. "I'll make it up to you." She had to know he was healthy magically and physically.

"No need." Alec managed to remove her and her magic from himself. "I'm fine." She got teary eyed and he hugged her on his own to help her feel better. She composed herself while holding her head near his shoulder. He didn't miss the likeness in looks for them. It was clear they were kin. Alec's own magic confirmed it for him.

She stepped back and rubbed his arms. "I'm making tea." Before Magnus or Alec could protest and state they had plans, she had already left for her kitchen and used her magic to lock her shop. She wasn't missing this opportunity. While she was making the tea for them she conjured scones and other pastries.

Magnus patted Alec's shoulder, "it will be fine. She missed you very much." Alec nodded and they cleared the circular table in the middle of the room for tea; the knick-knacks and cards which were handled carefully moved to an appropriate shelf. Magnus moved them with his magic adding protection, he didn't want Alec touching anything but the tea cup and he wasn't sure about it either. The magic swirling between all three beings could be unpredictable. The warlock would have to have some trust as he had been given from the crazy adventure. He looked at Alexander and he finally noted to himself, it was worth it. Alec followed his lead but if the warlock didn't want him doing something, he just watched and learned.

Magnus was relieved that the crystal ball was in it's usual place in the shop and not at the table. That thing would show too much whether Maryse was there or not. It had weird-ed him out a few times, his magic igniting it and images would appear but he never looked away. The warlock now knowing better and not wanting Alec to feel overloaded with information from the ball. Magnus was glad the crystal ball was on its shelf and covered. It would be best for Alec's Mother to control that thing. Though he suspected she knew and made sure it was not left out for anyone, and Maryse was still in protector mode of Alexander.

Maryse didn't do anything seer-like for their visit. She already knew but understood the new relationship and that her son wasn't ready for everything yet but she also knew he would be and it pleased her. She treated the visit as it should be, a get together. She hugged both men warmly as they left and was pleased that her son was warmer toward her than he had been when he first arrived. It was a good sign.

Magnus took Alec to the market where they spent time looking at everything, he included the shadowmarket as well for no other reason than to enlighten him with everything and anything magical. Anything Alec wanted, the warlock made sure he got, whether he knew it or not. Walking around in his human form was an experience that the dragon was getting used to and using his senses for other things was invigorating. He enjoyed the warlock's attention to him and knew he wanted to pay it back in some way. While they walked he worked his own magic subtly, he wanted at some point to surprise Magnus.

The warlock noticed the dragon trying out his magic but said nothing. He found it charming and when the time was right, he would take him back to the warehouse and practice. Magnus would help Alec with his magic, the dragon was rusty was all and the warlock knew it. He helped the dragon magic their packages to the loft. They smiled at the success and Magnus let Alec do it all which pleased him and the dragon.

They had a late lunch at the Hunter's Moon. Magnus chose the place knowing how popular it was and it would help the dragon interact with more unique humans. Alec didn't like all the various scents but Magnus explained the different beings and how humans or those being humanoid like him handled the human realm. Alec understood all of the different beings, he could tell and the old dragon wasn't completely useless with knowledge.

"This is Maia, she owns the place and keeps it 'being' friendly." Magnus introduced the owner to Alec.

"Hi," Alec could tell she was a wolf, his senses were telling him lots of things. The entire day had been eye-opening and he was feeling some fatigue. He planned on napping in the heating bed later.

"Hello." She smiled brightly at the men, and gave them drinks, "on the house." She informed them that Bat would be by soon to take their orders. She only trusted certain people around her favorite customers who were also friends.

Alec made a face with his drink, he had never had anything like it. Magnus laughed and offered to get him something different, but the dragon shook his head no. He loved the dinner that the warlock ordered for them. The drinks were weird but he got used to it.

They walked to the loft and flirted a little on the way. Alec enjoyed his day out and looked forward to more. "Thank you Magnus." Alec felt a little overwhelmed but kept that to himself. "I had a great time."

"You are welcome Alexander." Magnus was also feeling very good from the day. "It was my pleasure." He couldn't help himself and smirked at the dragon. Alec laughed, yes, this would be a fun relationship. He would not shy away from the warlock, in fact he planned on flirting with him.

They entered the apartment and were not inside for more than thirty seconds when Alec pushed Magnus up against the door, he cradled his face, "may I kiss you."

"Yes, I've been waiting for this." Magnus was thrilled at the dragon's politeness and pleased with his boldness. They kissed until they needed air. They pressed their foreheads together and took in the moment. It was surreal for both, the dreams, magic and attraction were illuminating for both men. They wanted and were not going to deny the attraction.

"I need to rest and trust me I want more of this but … I can't right now." Alec kept his eyes closed so that he could still say what he wanted. "Don't think for a moment, I don't want you or whatever this can be." He opened his eyes and smiled at the warlock. Magnus was grinning like a fool. He felt the same way and letting Alec do things at his pace would be perfect for them.

Magnus thought they might be moving too fast but after everything he went through to get to Alexander, he wasn't going to dwell on it. "I'll make dinner and wake you from your nap."

"Thanks," they kissed again and Alec pulled away, he transformed into his small dragon and went to the warming bed. He used his magic to move the discarded clothing to his room. His humanoid form was going to take time for him to understand. He was starting to like that form more than he would have thought he would.

Alexander smelled food and needed to change to human. He stretched and left the cat bed to fly to the room that was his and changed. He had learned being naked after changing forms wasn't deemed appropriate. He went to the room shifted and found clothing to wear which was becoming far more easier as time went on. Alec choose to be more muted in colors and fabrics, Magnus thought it a dragon thing or it was a preference. He was pleased with the magical progress more than clothing choices. Though the dragon did dress himself well even if he preferred the darker colors in wardrobe.

The steak dinner with potatoes was unreal for Alec, it brought out his inner dragon. Magnus was pleased with his companions appetite. "You are great at this," Alec gestured to the nearly empty food plates.

"Thank you, Alexander." Magnus was proud of his cooking prowess, "it was a pleasure."

"Teach me?" Alec wanted to be able to do everything Magnus could do and wanted to be more self sufficient. He supposed he could hunt at night and not get caught but the world was so different for him now, he would be the one to adjust.

"Of course darling." Magnus loved the idea, and there was so many things he wanted to teach Alec, cooking being the least thing on his mind.
