A/N: I watched one of the latest Loud House episode, Present Danger and it was really great, proud of my boy Lincoln for his 12th birthday. However, the only thing I'm upset about this episode…

Ronnie Anne didn't make an appearance, and as a Ronniecoln shipper, this really disappoints me, I mean it's a great episode and all, but I can't help but feel upset about this, she could've at least make a cameo or maybe mentioned, it's Lincoln's big day after all (I can also say the same for Lori). Anyway, here's a little one-shot I came up with hope you enjoy…

Today was a really great day for Lincoln Loud, the day he turned 12 after being 11 for about 5 seasons, this definitely was a change in his life. Lincoln couldn't feel more proud of himself, he remembers back in the old days where he is just a comic loving boy with 10 sisters and constantly feel like a worthless punching bag for most people, but that was the past. The new Lincoln Loud is more confident and closer to his sisters than ever, he even has great friends who're willing to stick by each other's side, especially since Middle School, and as "The Man with a Plan" he's willing to help anyone friend or family through their problems.

Lincoln just got back home, along with his Dad and Gramps, after being chased down by Lola, Lincoln shuddered thinking about it but lets it slide, he says his good nights then heads upstairs. Lincoln yawned remembering the day he just got through, it wasn't just a birthday party he went through, but a whole day of becoming his favorite hero, David Steele. Lincoln took an interest of this along with his friends, he started buying alot of comics about him, Lincoln looked down on his hands holding the first ever issue of David Steele, a present from his Dad and Gramps, Lincoln was happy to know that they're also fans of David Steele as well. Lincoln sighed happily of the day, but despite everything he couldn't help that something felt… missing.

The boy finally reaches his room, and places the comic on his desk, he's planning on reading it tomorrow, as Lincoln opens his closet to grab his pajamas he suddenly heard a sound from his laptop. Lincoln is currently still wearing his David Steele suit, a bit dirty but still awesome, Lincoln places down his pajamas and opens his laptop. Turns out he's receiving a call from his long distance friend, Ronnie Anne Santiago, Lincoln then remembered she wasn't there for his birthday, he didn't knew why exactly, he worries that she may forgot all about him, but now knowing she's calling right now, Lincoln couldn't wait to answer.

Lincoln took a deep breathe and accepted the call, not long after a video of Ronnie Anne appears on screen, she is currently wearing her pajamas with her hair down, and looks tired somehow.

Lincoln: *Waves* "Hey Ronnie Anne, what's up?"

Ronnie Anne: *Yawns* "Hey Linc, I didn't think you'd still be up this late"

Lincoln: "Long story short had an awesome day being a secret spy finding my lost birthday present"

Lincoln does a cool fighting pose.

Ronnie Anne: *Chuckles* "Wow, that's great I can see that you're still wearing a spy suit, whatever happened to Ace Savvy Lincoln?"

Lincoln: "It's not like that I don't like him anymore, but time passing made me feel interested on other things, you know? Also enough about me how were you today?"

Lincoln wanted to know why she didn't attend his birthday today, sure she has a big life going on in the city, but didn't got the time to call, or at least text him.

Ronnie Anne: "Oh right, I spend my day at the zoo today with Sid,and you won't believe it, 12 is Midnight is gonna perform there, after knowing all the animals love K-pop"

Lincoln: "Wow, that's great"

Ronnie Anne: "I know, so Sid and I started making a huge stage for them to perform, we were so busy we didn't realize we worked until the sun came down, we only finished the base however, but we decided to continue it tomorrow, and when I went home I bumped into Bobby and he told me about your-"

Ronnie Anne stopped mid-sentence, her eyes widened and looked away, leaving Lincoln confused.

Flashback

Ronnie Anne was coming out from the bathroom after brushing her teeth, she already wore her pajamas and makes her way to her room, but accidentally hit Bobby on the way.

Ronnie Anne: "Oh, sorry Bobby today was *yawns* a pretty long day…"

Bobby: "You're telling me, the customers at the Mercado were pretty wild today than usual, the whole place is pretty sold out, so I might wanna close for the whole day tomorrow"

Ronnie Anne: "Didn't Par showed up today for a delivery?"

Bobby (Nervous): "Well… I might've… sorta… told him to deliver a package for me"

Ronnie Anne: *Rolls her eyes* "This isn't another gift for Lori isn't it?"

Bobby: "Actually it's a present for Lincoln, today was his birthday"

Ronnie Anne's eyes widen.

Ronnie Anne: "His… Birthday?"

Bobby: "Yeah, I'm surprised that you've just heard about it now… wait you didn't-"

Ronnie Anne: "What me? Forget? Pssh, his my best friend I wouldn't possibly forget" *Smiles nervously*

Bobby is pretty clueless of his sisters acts.

Bobby: "Okay, now then if you excuse me, I gotta go meet up with my babe"

Bobby walks into his room, Ronnie Anne then quickly runs into her room.

End of Flashback

Lincoln: "Are you okay Ronnie Anne?"

Ronnie Anne shook her head and come to her senses.

Ronnie Anne: "I'm fine…" *Looks at the screen* "Today was your birthday wasn't it?"

Lincoln: "Yeah it is, wait did you forget?"

Ronnie Anne: *Face palmed* "Oh man, I can't believe I forgot, how could I forget about your big day? I didn't even got you a present"

Lincoln: "It's fine Ronnie Anne, I get that you're busy with today and-"

Ronnie Anne: "NO IT'S NOT JUST THE BIRTHDAY!"

Ronnie Anne's sudden outburst caused Lincoln to flinch a bit.

Ronnie Anne: "I'm sorry I-I-"

Lincoln took a seat on his chair, and moves forward.

Lincoln: "Ronnie Anne, talk to me, what's wrong?"

Ronnie Anne: *Sigh* "Linc, I never really told you this, but I admit that you're a really great friend, and I mean it, in fact you mean alot to me, I wouldn't be the same person here if it wasn't for you, when I first moved here, you told me to open up more and I never felt better, in some situations if Sid isn't around talking to you just made me feel better, you even helped me with my temporary fear of skating, also you tend to visit me alot, but I barely even visit you, so what I'm saying is you were sometimes there for me, and I… felt like I was never there for you…"

A tear came out of her eye, the girl turned away embarrassed, she didn't want her friend to see her cry like that.

Lincoln: "Ronnie Anne… it's okay… just being like that doesn't make you a bad friend, and yeah maybe you do barely visit me but come on, all I'm saying is that you were there for me…"

Ronnie Anne turned her head back to the screen.

Lincoln: "I've been growing up here, learning to take each step as I get through my life, and you're one of those steps"

Ronnie Anne raised her eyebrow a bit confused.

Lincoln: "Being friends with you was one of the greatest things in my life, you're a really cool girl Ronnie Anne, and I also kinda learned a few tough tricks from you"

Ronnie Anne: *Chuckles* "And I get you're figuring out how to skateboard to?"

Lincoln: "It's a work in progress, and you missing one birthday doesn't mean the end of our friendship, besides you still remembered our Friendaversary, and Prankaversary"

Ronnie Anne: "Why would I wanna forget that?"

The two kid shared a little laugh together, after running low on breathe they stopped to regain it.

Ronnie Anne: "Man, when did we ever get this cheesy?"

Lincoln: "I guess it's just part of growing up…"

From her point of view, she wanted to hug him so bad, but can't due to being on video chat.

Ronnie Anne: "You wanna hang out tomorrow? I'm sure the stage can wait a little"

Lincoln: "That'd be great, I got nothing on tomorrow anyway"

Lincoln was about to say his goodbyes until…

Ronnie Anne: "Hey Linc…"

Lincoln: "Yeah?"

Ronnie Anne: *Smiles* "Happy Birthday…"

Lincoln: *Returns the smile* "Thanks"

With that done the two said their goodbyes and closed their laptops, Lincoln proceeded to change to his pajamas tucks himself into bed, Ronnie Anne does the same in her room, awaiting the upcoming day.
