Justice for the Boiling Isles
At the headquarters of the CATTs, the rebellion was discussing the plan they conceived: Eda would take Raine's place during the Day of Unity, so her curse could corrupt the Draining Spell and save the Boiling Isles. Luz, however, overheard everything and was not willing to let that happen.
Luz: No, Eda, we can't fo that. What if the plan fails, what if it dosen't work, or if the curse overcomes you and then... I can't lose you. I already lost a dad, i don't wanna lose a mom too. No,
Eda: It will be OK, kiddo. And its our only chance to kick Belos' ass before its too late.
Luz felt she was right. They had no other options. Its not like someone like Batman or Wonder Woman could show up. But then, she thougth…
Luz: That's it. Eda, there are multiple dimensions, right? Do you think there are other realities? Other earths?
Eda: Maybe, i don't know. Why?
Luz: Because i could find some help. But i need some materials.
Eda: I like your "crazy good idea" face.
The heroes from the comics she often read are the help she thinks off. If there's a dimension of witches and demons, where all myths are true, there could be one where superheroes exist. Where Batman watches over Gotham City and Green Lanterns protect the universe.
After a series of heists done behind the CATTs back to avoid more worries, and thanjs to security being low due to the Day of Unity, Luz, Eda, and King managed to create a portal crude but stable. Luz entered there, and, just as expected, she went back to the In-Between Realm. After walking a while, she made the call.
Luz: Batman!
Nothing
Luz: Superman!
Nothing
Luz: Wonder Woman!
Nothing
Desesperate, Luz began to run. She desesperately called for those heroes. Yet nothing happened. Fearing this will be useless, and for Eda, Luz broke down. She was afraid. Hopeless. Fewring she might lose her friends, her girlfriend, or Eda. She couldn't lose them. She didn't wanted to lose her family.
Then, out of nowhere, a cube appeared. It was the Fortress of Solitude! Superman was on the opposite side!
Luz: Finally.
There is hope.
I wrote this because, well, i had such a concept in mind ever sibce " Hollow Mind", and i choose to just make it.
