Chapter thee: Luau at North beach.
Camille woke up to the sound of her alarm clock playing Redemption song by Bob Marley as the sun shinned down on her face threw the open window. She hit the snooze button on her alarm clock as she stretched and yawned before placing her head back down on the pillow as soft snores began to escape from her mouth a moment later.
"Hey wake up you got to be at the base by 0700." Ron said as he opened her bedroom door. "I don't even know what that means." Camille whined as she looked at him but barely moved. "That's because you're a noob." Ron teased. "I'm not a noob!" Camille groaned as she through her pillow it him, Ron no didn't even bother to move out the way as he caught it and tossed it back on her bed. "Come one get up. I got breakfast cooking." Ron said in a slightly demanding tone.. "Ok fine, I'll be there in a minute." Camille whined as she began to stir.
As Ron walked out the room, leaving the bedroom door open Camille sat up and kicked her feet over the side of the bed as she stretched and yawned before getting up and slowly walking out to the living area of the house. Truth be told the prospect of breakfast was the only thing that had got her up.
"Here is your coffee, breakfast will be rea…" Ron began to say as he placed her coffee on the dining table before he was cut off when he saw the sight of her. "What are you wearing!?" Ron exclaimed as his face turned red. "Well if you don't like it close your eyes you jerk!" Camille replied as she looked at herself. She was wearing thin white see through night gown with a lacy black bra and G string.
"Put some clothes on!" Shouted Ron. "Alright, fine!" Whined Camille before walking back towards her room. "Dipshit." Camille grumbled under her breath before closing the door behind her. Camille changed into her camo's before returning to the kitchen and having a seat at the table. As she did so Ron brought her a plate and set it down in front over her before going to make his own. As she looked at her plate of pancakes, bacon, and eggs she began to feel guilty again. "Thanks." Camille grumbled as she looked away. "You're welcome." Ron said simply as he came and sat with her.
After breakfast Ron and Camille walked outside as Ron fallowed Camille to her Bronco. "Hey wait, where is your car?" Camille asked in a condescending tone as she turned back to look at him. Ron simply shrugged a goofy and dimwitted shrug. "Ugh, fine… Just don't get you cooties or whatever all over the seat." Camille whined. Ron noticed that Camille had started being meaner to him then she first was. Ron had to wonder if it was a case where like Bonne used to have a crush on him or if she was just getting used to her new life and finally settling into her Camileness.
Ron and Camille soon got in her Bronco and began making their way to the base. As they drove Camille turned to look at him, unlike her he seemed to wear the same thing every day. "Aren't you hot?" Asked Camille. "Why yes, yes I am." Ron replied with a sly grin. "Not that you idiot! I mean your clothes. You always wear that green shirt with the brown sweater and the jeans." Camille replied indignantly. "You saying I should get a blue shirt?" Ron asked sarcastically but disguised it as if her were serious.
"No stupid! I mean for one I can't believe your still wearing that in this heat, and you need to diversify your wardrobe. It makes you look un-kept." Said Camille. "Well I guess it is a bit uncomfortable now that you mention it." Ron said almost absentmindedly. "A little!?" Camille asked shocked. "I guess with training I have just adapted to not really notice the temperatures as much." Ron said with a shrug. "You people are really strange." Camille groaned.
"I guess I'm also used to wearing the same thing all the time. I always used to wear the same black shirt with red jersey and cargo pants that I kept Rufus in." Said Ron. "Rufus?" Asked Camille. "He was my pet naked mole rat. He died a few years ago." Ron said somewhat sadly. "Oh, your little pink thing. I have no clue what happened to my cat Debutant. Surely she must be dead by now as well. "Camille also said somewhat sadly. "So you know how it feels?" Ron asked softly as he placed a hand on her shoulder and looked deeply into her soft blue eyes. "Ugh! Don't start trying to relate to me you creep!" Camille shouted as she pulled away from him, brushing his hand away. Ron simply laughed.
The rest of the ride was quiet as Camille looked at the scenery. While it was too rural for Camille in her past life it was a beautiful place that she was quickly beginning to like. While she did not know all the ins and outs of this place she liked how peaceful it was, she was even beginning to like her small house and her truck.
Later at the base Ron helped Camille find Bonnie where they split ways with Camille going with Bonnie and Ron going to see something that Felix wanted to show him.
Ron fallowed Felix down to the R&D department where upon walking through the door they were greeted with the sight of two men bickering. One was a blue skinned man with a pony tail in glasses while the other one was a short and wide man with a German accent. "I am telling you Demens it is perfect!" Exclaimed the blue skinned man. "Und zi am telling you zat ve still need to work out zee kinks!" Exclaimed Demens.
Felix cleared his throat and both med froze before turning to him. "Drakken, Dementor, what have you got for me?" Felix asked dryly. "Oh, yes… Of course!" Said Dr. Drew Lipsky nervously. Dr. Demens just chuckled nervously as they lead them deeper into the lab. As they walked around Ron saw many scientists and engineers working on various amazing projects projects ranging from different types of robots and ward machines to different types of gadgets.
Eventually they stopped in front of a glass chamber with a suit inside. The suit looked like a think latex suit stretched tightly over a headless female mannequin body with the Minute Men logo on the right side of the chest. "Cool. What is it?" Ron asked curiously. "It's Camille's suit. Or it's going to be, still got to work the kinks out." Felix said as he turned to Ron who was on his left. "I can assure you that there are no kinks." Said the former Dr. Drakken, Dr. Drew Lipsky. "We all know new inventions have their kinks doctor." Felix said dryly as he looked past Ron to Dr. Lipsky. "Especially when zu have zee hand in making zem." Said the former Dr. Dementor, Dr. Rupert Demens. "Ngh!" Grumbled Drew.
"So what does it do?" Asked Ron. "It's supposed to be able to shift along with her because she can't transform her clothing like she can the rest of her body. This will allow her to do that. When it is fully functional that is." Felix said as he glanced over at Drew. "Oh but it is." Drew said proudly. "Wow you really made this in less than a day?" Ron asked impressed. "Nyet! It still needs some work." Said Dr. Demens. "Does not." Said Drew. "Does so." Said Rupert. They then began arguing back and forth with one saying "does so" and the other "does not".
Felix sighed. "See what I have to work with?" Felix asked as he face palmed before looking at Ron. "Ok if it works then show us doctor." Said Felix as he turned to Drew. "Gladly." Drew said in a dark tone as a proud and devious smile came across his face and he pulled a remote out of his lab coat and pushed a button. The suit inside the case began transforming into different types of clothing and all looked promising. "See?" Drew said proudly just before the suit exploded inside the case, luckily the case was designed with such an outcome in mind so the glass didn't even crack. "Drew's face fell as he looked at the burning pile of ash that wes left inside the case. "Ha! Zee?" Rupert gloated.
"It's not going to do that with Camille inside is it!?" Ron exclaimed with worry as he tightly gripped the hair on top of his head. "No! No, of course not. I promise we will have all the bugs worked out before we give it to Camille." Felix said as he placed a Rand on Ron's shoulder and started walking him away as Drew and Rupert got back to work. "Why don't you run along and we will get back to work?" Felix said with just a hint of nervousness as he shooed Ron out the lab.
Ron stood there surprised as he looked at the now closed door. He was now worried about Camille. But still, their inventions weren't known for malfunctioning on the field. Ron was now feeling a bit bored as he currently had nothing that he needed to do today so he decided to go see Wade.
Ron walked into a dark room which looked like some sort of a control center with monitors and computers all along the walls and people sitting at them. In the middle of the room was a single master control station where he saw Wade. "Hey wade what's up man?" Ron asked as he walked over to him. "Oh just compiling data. Same old, same old. So how's you and Camille going?" Wade said almost absentmindedly. "She's not my girlfriend." Ron deadpanned.
"Never said that she was. Got to make sure she is saved first. Still, doesn't mean you shouldn't get to know her a bit better am I right?" Wade said finishing with a wink as he nudged Ron with his elbow. "Look man, I see what you are trying to do and I thank you, but I don't need the help." Said Ron. "Good, then there is this luau going on tonight, you should ask Camille to come. I'm planning on asking Bonnie." Wade said ignoring that Ron said he didn't want help.
"You and Bonnie? Didn't see that one coming." Ron said with surprise. "Yea, I actually have had a thing for Bonnie for quite a while." Wade said sheepishly rubbing the back of his neck. "You even see how she scrunches her nose, or snorts when she laughs? It's so cute." Wade continued in a dreamy manner. "You know I never noticed?" Ron said with a shrug. "So you coming tonight or what?" Wade asked as he turned his chair to face Ron. "Not letting me get out of this one are you?" Ron deadpanned. "Nope." Wade said with a chuckle. "Alright, see you and your little bon bon there tonight." Ron said teasingly. "And I'll see you with your sweet chameleon." Wade teased. Ron simply deadpanned.
Meanwhile Camille was busy training with Bonnie in one of the training cells. "Alright, let's get started." Bonnie said sounding bored as she stood with a hand on her hip. "Aww do I have to? I might break a nail." Whined Camille. "Stop whining. I'll make a soldier out of you weather you like it or not." Bonnie said firmly as she looked at Camille with a firm, piercing gaze. "Y-yes ma'am." Camille said to the younger woman a bit nervously as she tensed with fear."
"Good." Bonnie smirked with dominant delight before entering into a fighting stance as she lowered herself into a slight crouch and placed her arms half way out in front of her with the right arm extended a little further and higher than the left. Her hands were not balled into fists or vertically straight, they were in a loose position with her thumbs turned upward and her index and middle fingers extended forward and her other fingers in a more neutral position . Camille looked at her stance and the predatory look in her cold light blue eyes as she tensed with fear.
"Just try to dodge." Bonnie said sounding unimpressed as she started making slow strikes at Camille's face and upper body while doing a series of slow kicks at her legs as she watched how Camille dodged. Overall Camille seemed quick enough but her movements were clumsy and unrefined.
"So what is Ron to you exactly?" Asked Bonnie. "He's nothing to me." Camille said in a voice like he was beneath her. That earned her a well placed strike to the side of the face, causing her to fall down. "Ouch! You did that on purpose!" Camille shouted as she held her cheek. "Oh did I?" Bonnie asked rhetorically with a devious smirk as she stood overtop Camille with her hands on her hips. "Listen up you blonde hair stick figure. Ron is a good man and he wouldn't waste his time on you if he didn't care about you so I suggest you show some respect. He stuck his neck out for you to bring you into this organization because like the rest of us we care about people and believe in redemption. I have seen a lot of bad people get saved and change, myself included. I know first had that the path your on only leads to ruin because I was there myself. So show some respect!" Bonnie said with a dangerous glare. Camille wanted to say something snarky but for one she was too afraid to, and two Bonnie actually got her thinking.
Later on after training Camille decided to hit the shower. Inside the shower Camille let the hot water run over her sore body and aching muscles. She realized that Bonnie had gone easy on her, for the most part, but it still had to be the hardest thing she had done in her life. She knew she wasn't like the other members of the Minute Men. She just hoped that she would be able to survive. While she had discovered that she was not obligated to be a member it wasn't like she had a whole lot of reason to leave. If she did so she would be forced to go find a job anyways and with her record no one would want to hire her and there was no guarantee Ron would let her continue to live with him.
Camille let out a sigh before hearing a familiar voice, she believed to belonged to a woman called Shego? She was talking with some other girls whose voiced she did not recognize. "So you going to ask The Boss to the luau tonight?" Asked a girl. "Of course I am." Brandi said proudly. "Wow Brandi, only you would have the courage to do that!" Exclaimed the girl. "Do you think he will say yes?" Asked another girl. "Maybe he's already going with Francheska." The first girl said with a giggle.
Camille could then hear the sound of Brandi's powers firing up as she began to growl. "S-s-sorry. W-we didn't mean to make you mad." One of the girls stammered with fear. "S-see ya!" The other girl said quickly before they both ran off. Brandi sighed as she extinguished her fire. "Now look what you did… You still got to control you're anger. Now you're going to have to go apologize." Brandi said softly to herself.
Camille was hesitant at first to get out the shower but it seemed that Brandi hadn't meant to get so angry so she figured maybe it was ok. Camille turned off the water as she grabbed her towel and dried off her face before wrapping the towel around her body and stepping out the shower. As Camille got out the shower Brandi had her back to her as she slowly zipped the zipper on her suit before pulling her long dark hair out the back. Camille blushed faintly, as she looked at the woman's curvaceous figure in her skin tight suit. Camille wasn't into girls but she had to admit that this girl was hot! Camille had always prided herself on being the most beautiful girl around but she had to admit this woman challenged even her younger self. Not that she actually had any right to feel envious considering she could take whatever appearance she wanted.
"Can I help you?" Brandi asked in a slightly warning tone as she glared at her from over her shoulder once she noticed Camille staring at her. "Oh. um… Sorry. I didn't know anyone else was in here." Camille lied. "Uh huh… Look, you need to know something about me. I'm not into girls so don't even think about it." Brandi said in a highly warning tone as she turned around and continued to glare at Camille, standing with one hand on her hip.
"H-hold on! Neither am I!" Camille said frantically as she waved her hands in front of her. "Well, alright. …Camille, right?" Asked Brandi. "That's right." Camille said with a nod. "Brandi." Said Brandi. "What's that you were saying about a luau?" Camille asked curiously. "Yea there's a luau tonight. It's going to be on the north beach. …You should bring Ron. Well see you around." Brandi said before walking out the locker room. Camille just stood there blinking in surprise. "Well she's… Friendly." Camille said dryly to herself.
After getting dressed Camille went out to her Bronco to head home and get changed before the luau. On her way home she saw Ron walking through town as he had just come out of a shop sporting some new clothes. Seeing him Camille stopped the truck and looked at him. He was wearing a blue and orange stripped tank top with brown cargo shorts brown flip flops, dark sunglasses and a shark's tooth necklace. "So I see you decided to get some new clothes after all." Camille said with an amused smile. "Yea, figured I didn't really fit in." Ron said with a shrug. "So you headed my way?" Camille asked casually. "Yea I guess I could use the ride," Ron said with a shrug before getting in.
As Camille drove she glanced at Ron a few times but didn't know what to say, she had been thinking about what Bonnie had said. And what Brandi had said… While Bonnie didn't say it Camille realized that she had been a bitch most of her life, only ever caring about herself. Prison had done her some good and taught her some humility and helped her let go of some of her anger, she didn't care about getting revenge on Kim any more but she didn't exactly forgive her or care about others.
"So how was training?" Asked Ron. "Huh? Oh, it was good. Bonnie said I'm improving. …Slowly…" Camille said the last part begrudgingly as she had been snapped from her thoughts. Ron then looked around as he didn't recognize his surroundings. "Uh, Camille, I think were on the wrong road." Ron said as he looked around. "Oh, are we? Hope you don't mind I figured we could just drive around for a bit." Said Camille. She actually hadn't been paying attention to where they were going but she figured a drive would help clear her mind.
They drove in awkward silence. Each seemed to want to say something but didn't know how to say it. That was until the y reached the north beach. There was as large sign that said luau tonight at 7-mindnight. Stopping in front of the sign Camille and Ron both turned to each other. "You want to go?" Both asked at once. They both looked at each other surprised for a moment before Camille started laughing. "You know I would love to." Camille chuckled. "You would?" Ron asked surprised. "Well that gives us a little under two hours, what you say we head home?" Camille said before turning around and heading back to the house.
Back at the house Ron and Camille had dinner before she got changed for the luau. "Well I'm ready." Camille said as she came out with her hair pulled back as she wore flip flops, tight jean shorts and a tight white spaghetti strap tank top which showed off her midsection. Ron couldn't help but stare, it wasn't that different from what she had worn the other night but maybe it was the fact that they were going out that made it different. That made Ron wonder, was this a date?
Camille could feel Ron's eyes looking at her and she looked to meet his gaze with soft curious eyes for a moment. "What?" Camille asked curiously. "Oh, nothing." Ron said before turning away. "What-ever. I hope you don't think this is a date or anything. Were just two fr- room mates going out for some fun, kay?" Camille said with a hand on her hip. Ron raised an eyebrow, noticing that she had been trying to use the word friends but for some reason didn't feel comfortable with it. Probably her pride he figured. "Sure, whatever you say Cam." Ron said in an uncaring tone as he shrugged. "Well what are we waiting for then? Let's get going." Camille said impatiently before going out to the truck with Ron fallowing right behind.
Ron and Camille pull up to the luau and get out. Looking around they could see that it was packed. As they entered Ron saw Wade and Bonnie while Camille was busy looking around She had noticed that the people on this island appeared to come from all over the world. Ron rushed over to them and Camille seeing that Ron had gone ahead of her, took off after him. She wasn't sure why she had but she rationalized that she just didn't want to get lost. Upon getting closer Camille saw why he had ran off.
"Hey bro glad that you could make it!" Wade greeted Ron with a forearm bump. "Oh, hey Camille." Bonnie greeted slightly surprised as she saw Camille come up beside Ron. "Hey Bonnie." Camille said casually as she stood with a hand on her hip. "So is Felix and Brandi here?" Asked Ron. "Felix said he wasn't going to come unless he could find a date, said he would ask every girl on the island if he had to. And I haven't seen Brandi yet." Said Wade. "Reminds me of myself back in high school." Ron said as he Wade and Bonnie laughed while Camille cringed slightly.
"I heard a rumor that Brandi was going to ask The Boss or something." Said Camille. "Oh I doubt that's simply a rumor. I think everyone on the island knows that she is mad for him." Bonnie said with a shake of her head. "Does he know?" Camille asked curiously. "Of course he knows. Jack has got to be one of the most perceptive people there is." Said Bonnie. "Then why doesn't he do anything? Does he have a thing for that Francheska woman?" Asked Camille. "Doubt it. They are good friends, very close and all… But Jack is, well Jack. I have never seen him show romantic interest in anyone." Said Bonnie.
Wade then cleared his throat. "So it's been nice talking to you but we should be going. See you later." Wade said before taking Bonnie by the hand as two groups went their separate ways. "So are they like, on a date?" Asked Camille as they walked down the crowded beach. "I think so." Ron said with a grin. "Oh look, let's get some beers." Camille said as she pointed to a stand just up ahead. "Alright." Ron said.
After getting in line and getting there beers Camille looked at the bottle that said that it said "Island brew" on the label and the picture was of a hammock in between two palm trees. She had never heard of it before and figured it was something they made here on the island. Ron and Camille got a table that was close by and near a stage where they would probably have some form of show soon.
"So about Jesus." Ron stated abruptly before taking a drink of his beer. "I think my mother actually used to go to church when I was little." Camille said looking up from her beer. "Jack said when he was reading your file that she had died when you were seven?" Asked Ron. "Yea. After mom died I was raised by nannies and stuff. My father didn't care enough to do it himself." Camille said bitterly as she looked off to the side before taking a drink of her beer. "That's rough. I mean, my parents weren't around a whole lot but I knew that they loved me." Ron said as he laid back in the chair before taking a drink.
"lucky you." Camille said under her breath as she looked away. It was hard to hear with the noise off all the nearby people but Ron was still able to make out what she had said but before Ron could come up with a helpful reply it sounded like there was a show that was about to start.
A show soon started with a group of three buff men in grass skirts twirling fire sticks and doing other sorts of acrobatic things. As Ron watched he found that their moved reminded him of Kim back when she was on the cheer squad in high school, causing a bitter frown to come to his face before chugging his beer. "I'm going to get more beers." Ron mumbled before getting up. Camille turned her attention from the show that she had been enjoying to see Ron walking away, seeming like something was bothering him. "He drank his beer already?" Camille thought with surprise. She had considered going after him but she also figured if something was bothering him that he wouldn't want to be bothered about it.
Camille eventually decided to go find out what was wrong after she couldn't take the nagging feeling of guilt any longer. As Ron exited the line with two more beers he saw Camille coming the other way. "Something wrong?" Ron asked, surprised to see her. "I should be asking you the same thing." Camille said with a scrutinizing gaze. "It's nothing." Ron said as he looked away, unable to meet her piercing sapphire eyes. Camille groaned as she rolled her eyes and placed a hand on her hip. "Look, I don't want you getting the idea that I care about you or anything… But you must think I'm stupid if you think that's going to work." Camille said in a condescending tone before taking another dink of her beer.
Ron gritted his teeth as he continued to look away. "Let's go find some placer a little more quiet." Suggested Ron. Camille simply nodded. Ron took Camille to a secluded place a little further down the beach behind a large rock that was near the calm water's edge. The crowds of people could still be heard but only faintly. It was a rather soothing place where the moonlight shinned down with a warming glow and the sounds of the water splashed gently against the shore.
There was an awkward silence between them as they sat down side by side with their backs against the rock. "Alright, spill." Camille demanded before taking another drink of her beer. Ron paused for a minute as Camille turned to glare at him, expecting an answer. "I know it sounds… Weird… But, those performers, reminded me of Kim." Ron said just a bit sadly and hesitantly as he looked down. "Don't think about that bitch Ron." Camille said just a bit harshly as she took the other beer from his hand as she had finished her first one and had set the empty bottle into the sand between her long legs.
Ron looked just a bit surprised as he felt the bottle pulled from his grasp. Not that it was a problem, that beer had been for her anyways. "You still hate Kim don't you?" Ron asked softly before taking a drink. "Hate, no... Just a bit bitter I guess..." Camille said before taking a drink. "Have you ever considered that jail actually may have been a good thing for you?" Ron asked as he turned to her. "Yea Ron, I have." Camille said in an irritated tone. "I'm not going to lie, I know it was. Gave me a lot of time to think about my life. I'm not as hateful and bitter as I used to be. I also realize that money won't heal my empty heart." Camille said painfully as she took her empty bottle and chucked it into the water before chugging the rest of her other one and doing the same to that bottle.
Ron glanced at her then at his bottle before handing it to her. She seemed to need it more than he did. Camille looked surprised before turning to him them taking the beer from him. "Thanks…" Camille said before pressing the bottle to her lips. "You know you're not alone anymore Camille. Your part of a family now and have people that care about you." Ron said softly as he looked over at her.
Camille turned to look at him with surprise. "Family is just a ward word with whatever meaning you want to give it." Camille said with soft bitterness before finishing up the beer. She believed that for whatever reason he cared about her but she wasn't willing to believe that anyone else did. "Were not like other people Camille. I'm sorry that your father didn't love you but the people here aren't like that." Ron said earnestly.
"Save it." Camille said a bit bitterly as she handed him her empty bottle, her voice beginning to change from drink. Ron took it as he Watched her get up and stumble forward a few steps. "Thanks." Camille whispered under her breath as she came to a stop. "You alright?" Ron asked as he rushed to get up. "I'll be fine. I'm not drunk, just a bit tipsy. Not having a drink for ten years will do that to you." Camille said as Ron grabbed onto her arm to support her. She didn't try to pull away. "Well, alright…" Ron said a bit hesitantly. "Do you think we could get something to eat?" Camille asked as they started to make their way back towards the crowds of people. "You just ate before we came here." Said Ron. "I know but alcohol makes me puckish." Camille said with a slightly drunken giggle.
Ron and Camille walked down the beach to an area that was serving food. As they walked Camille pulled her arm from his grasp and linked her arm around his and held onto his bicep with the other. "You weren't holding onto me good enough so don't get any bright ideas." Camille said slightly indignantly as she closed her eyes. As Ron looked at her curiously he could see that her face was red but he didn't know if she was blushing or if it was because she was drunk. "Man his arms feel nice!" Camille thought to herself with a small smirk that Ron didn't notice.
After getting some food at a nearby vendor Ron and Camille sat underneath a moon lit table. Ron had been surprised at how much food she had wanted but he hadn't tried to deter her, he figured she just ate more when she was drunk, and whatever she didn't eat he would. "So how long have you been in this organization?" Asked Camille as she stuffed her face with pulled pork and nacho cheese covered nacho's and drank another beer.
Ron looked at her curiously, not thinking that she would be interested but maybe it was the alcohol. "I been here probably about eight and a half years, which was almost the beginning of the Minute Men. There was Jack, His mentor who was called Snake, Francheska, and a few soldiers. After I joined the group Jack was looking to expand obviously, so I made a few suggestions, being that I knew a few skilled people. Wade first off since after Kim joined GJ he was free. Then I suggested Brandi, who was a villainess that went by the name of Shego at the time . Seeing as she was so skilled and that Jack was about reforming people it only seemed natural she be a member. He also reformed her employer Drew Lipsky who went by Dr. Drakken at the time. He is now one of our top scientists. Felix was a friemd from high school and an expert in the field of cybernetics, mostly conjoining the human body and robotics. And Bonnie naturally came to mind when it came to training the troops seeing how bossy she was and her role in the cheer squad back in high school." Ron informed her.
"Wow, so you basically helped build the Minute Men. How come you're not like, second or third in command?" Camille asked as she continued stuffing her face. Apart from the nachos and beer she also had fries and a burger. "That's not my style. I like my freedom, and this way I can do what I want and take missions at my leaser." Ron said. "I guess that makes sense." Said Camille.
Camille continued to eat till she was full. "Here you want the rest of this?" Camille said as she pushed her leftovers towards him and went to finish her beer. Ron did not complain as he took her leftovers and began eating them. As Camille finished her beer she began giggling drunkenly as the alcohol really seemed to be hitting her. "You know you look really cute in this light." Camille said in a drunken flirty manner.
Ron turned as he looked at her with surprise. Her cheeks were all red from drink and she had a big goofy smile on her face as she swayed from side to side in her seat slightly. "You know I never -hic- thanked you properly for taking care of me." Camille said with a slightly devious looking drunken smile and a slightly devious chuckle. "That's alright." Ron said dismissively before returning his attention to the food. "I can't believe that forth beer hit her that hard..." Ron thought to himself.
"-Hic- Oh, but it's really not. …Come dance with me." Camille said in a sultry and alluring voice before grabbing onto Ron's wrist with her soft, delicate hand and dragged him away. Ron was highly surprised and perhaps a bit nervous but didn't resist because he didn't want to anger her or more importantly make her fall.
Camille dragged Ron a little ways down the beach till the sound of a band that was playing in the distance could be heard, they were away from the main crowd but still close enough to her the band as they played a cover of the song Crimson and Clover By Tommy James and The Shondells. As Camille stopped she turned to him and placed his arms around her waist as she pulled herself in close to his body and placed her arms around his neck and nestled her head into the crook of his neck as she closed her eyes and let out a content sigh. Ron tensed slightly as she began to sway to the music in his grasp but she didn't seem to notice. He could feel her hot breath on his neck and feel the warmth of her slender body against his. He knew that she was drunk but a part of him still had to wonder if her behavior was a reflection of deeper feelings.
Camille giggled lightly as she danced with him and nestled her face further into his neck. "You smell good." Camille whispered softly as she pressed her face against his neck and rested her head in place. Ron didn't say anything, just held her and watched her curiously as they spun around and round in the pale moonlight. Weather Camille's current feelings were real or not it was like they were in their own little world with everything else fading away from reality as he Settled into her.
Ron and Camille continued to dance for a while, how long it didn't matter as time ceased to move a while ago. Eventually Camille lifted her head to look at him with her big blue eyes which held a tender softness he had never seen. Ron looked at her in wonder as he gazed into her eyes, slowly becoming even more lost from time. "Thank you Ron." Camille said with soft honesty before placing her soft warm lips upon his. Ron was caught off guard as his eyes flew open wide but he did not try to pull away. He had considered returning the gesture but he didn't want himself to be caught up in lust.
Camille placed her slender feminine hands on his cheeks, the kiss lasted what felt like a considerable amount of time but then felt not long enough as she let go. Once her lips had departed from his she placed her hands on his strong shoulders as she laid her head on his firm chest. Ron was shocked as he looked at her curiously. He wasn't sure if that kiss was real but he believed that her gratitude was and that she was thankful for his help.
Before Ron could come up with something to say he heard the sounds of soft snoring coming From Camille as she seemed totally content to use his chest as a pillow. Ron's face became surprised before it softened and a warm smile came to his face. Ron scooped Camille up in his arms and decided it was time to take her home. She had had enough fun for one night.
