Disclaimer: All characters in this story are from My Life as a Teenage Robot and belong to Nickelodeon

Updated Authors Note: I edited chapter 1 and probably will edit chapter 2. First of all, my ideas for the story changed a bit as I wrote and as you can tell in the end of chap 2, I decided to introduce evil Jenny earlier, rather than the end, so I had to rewrite the beginning of chapter 1, changed some dialogues, added more details and maybe I will rewrite chapter 2. I am just worried that Nora sounded out of character, also I don't know if I should change the Melody and Jenny scene in the second chapter, because I feel like Melody has that personality where if you just talked to her, she would understand. Also if this is not your first time reading it, you will notice the tiktok reference scene from Brad is gone. Two reasons, one is I could not see it actually fitting into the story. The other reason is I have finally decided to watch the fairly oddparents reboot since I liked the show in my childhood and they made a similar joke…I never cringed so hard in my entire life and it inspired me to delete that part of my story as fast as humanly possible.

Chapter 1: Senior Year

Previously on My Life as a Teenage Robot-

"No, please don't hurt them! They're innocent!"

Jenny was about to step foot in the portal, glaring at Sheldon one last time.

"So was I Shel." She raised one of her blasters directly at him. "Now go get some rest."

Before he could react, he received a big laser blast directly in his chest.

Sheldon now lays on the floor in pain and he knew he was losing blood. He could feel himself fading out, he looked at the monitor one last time gasping, as if the variants could hear him,

"I'm…I'm…sorry Jenny, I-I tried…" His eyes rolled back and he was unconscious.

Jenny's evil laughter was heard as she walked through the portal, it flashed and it was all silence.

She was now in Galaxy 666.

———————————————————————

The sun casted its firey rays down the glass window, the birds chirped a musical tune. The peacefulness was interrupted by a large,

"BZZT BZZT"

A metallic hand emerged from the bed covers and briskly slammed the alarm, not out of anger, but out of pure excitement.

"EEK! It's here! It's finally here!" Jenny shrieked at the top of her "lungs" before lunging herself out of bed and barreling herself down the stairs.

Jenny has long awaited her final year of high school, so many "last moments" for her to enjoy. There were the last dances, graduation, last parties, applying to college, the list goes on! Sure she couldn't grow up like the humans, but she still wanted to experience them. Even though she didn't age, she didn't want to stay in high school forever!

'Hehe I'm a senior!!'

She giddily marched into the kitchen and made her way to the fridge. Her optics looked through the shelves,

"Mmm, let's see…diesel , propane…Ah! WD140!"

She snatched the can and closed the fridge. She grabbed a bag of "Computer bytes" and poured some on a platter and made her way to the table to sit down.

She sat down and started to snarf down her breakfast. Noisily even.

Across the table sat her mother, Dr. Wakeman, sipping on a cup of coffee and leaning back against the chair looking displeased,

"XJ9, didn't I program you with some table manners young lady?"

This caused Jenny to jump, "MMPH?" She said with her mouth filled with oil and her optics staring at her mother in surprise. Her mother raised an eyebrow.

Jenny gulped swallowing the oil and chuckled nervously,

"Em…hehe, sorry mom, I can't help it! I'm just excited!" She clasped her hands in joy, "This is my last year of high school! This year is going to be the best year ever!" She continued,

"I stayed up all last night and watched the Wizzly movie: High School Musical 3: Senior Year karaoke version! I know it sounds dumb, but I would love to find my own Troy Bolton this year…I know he's out there somewhere! I just know it! And after that I-"

Wakeman nodded thoughtfully, interrupting Jenny

"Oh so that pitchy shrieking sound I was hearing at midnight wasn't some sleep paralysis demon…good to know."

Jenny narrowed her eyes and groaned, taking another bite of Computer Bytes,

"They're not that bad mom!"

Wakeman rolled her eyes, smirking as she took a sip,

"I wasn't referring to them dear."

Jenny raised her optics and then gasped in realization, she placed her hand over her chest in offense, now looking horrified

"MOM!"

Wakeman chuckled, waving her hand dismissively

"I'm kidding, just kidding! You have a good voice, you're no professional, but you try."

Jenny rolled her optics as she took another sip of her oil,

"Gee thanks."

Wakeman finished her coffee and started to make way for the sink,

"Well I'm excited for you dear! Now I am scheduled for a meeting today at noon on the moon-"

"Let me guess, another energy crisis thingy?" inquired Jenny boredly shoving more computer bytes in her mouth.

Wakeman shook her head and chuckled,

"Actually no, I'm just going to meet some of my old college classmates and we're going to have a little picnic lunch and talk about our latest research on amoebas from other planets!"

Jenny sighed sarcastically,

"Wow I'm so jealous."

Wakeman rinsed her mug and smiled ignoring her daughters snarky remark,

"Speaking of college-"

Jenny perked up,

"Oh I have a couple of options actually, one being Tremerton University or maybe somewhere more south, so I can still be in reach for crime fighting-"

Wakeman interrupted,

"Majors dear, what are you majoring in? You know biology or engineering might be a good fit." She winked, "I'm not going to be down in that lab forever ya know. It would be nice to pass it down to my own daughter."

Jenny cringed, ever since she helped her mom rebuild her sisters after the attack from Dr. Locus, two things happened. First off, her mom finally allowed her to apply for college, which made her overjoyed. However, now her mom is expecting her to go the same route she did and keeps talking about how nice it would be to have her own daughter follow her footsteps and take over the lab one day. She didn't want to hurt her mothers feelings but she had no interest in that type of stuff. She looked down and tapped the table nervously, shifting in her seat,

"Mom, that does sound…nice, but I think I might actually go in as an open major and just explore for a bit. See what it offers."

Jenny actually already did have a major she was interested in, the Arts! Of course she hadn't really told her mom yet, since she doesn't think her mom will handle that news very well.

Wakeman shrugged, putting her hand up,

"Don't worry I didn't expect you to say yes…yet, one day you will."

Jenny rolled her eyes standing up,

"Ok whatever you say mom, I'm going to school now!"

Wakeman took Jenny's dishes to the sink smirking to herself,

"Ok…my future protege."

"GAH MOM PLEASE!" Jenny wailed, her hands pulling on her pigtails while bolting out the door making her mom chuckle.

————————————————————————

Three teenagers, two humans and one robot to be exact strolled around the block on their way to Tremerton High.

One of the boys brushed his red spiky hair as he gazed into the camera of his new musique and then flashed a perfect sly smile and a wink,

"Aw yea, get ready ladies of Tremerton High! This is your last year to win the special Carbuncle Sundae, before Bradley Carbuncle leaves the building!"

Jenny snickered at him, Sheldon raised an eyebrow,

"Brad, no offense, but how do you know if this year will be any different than the last three?"

Brad scoffed and waved a dismissive hand,

"Simple, I'm a senior! That's when all the good stuff happens! And Shel, everyone loves you if you're a senior…especially the ladies, they love seniors." He ended the sentence with a grin.

Sheldon rolled his eyes and then goofily smiled at Jenny,

"Well I don't need them…I already have one right here hehe."

Jenny sighed, and replied in monotone,

"Gee Thanks Sheldon…" When will he learn that I am not interested?! You think after three years, he'd take a hint! She thought bitterly to herself.

Sheldon pulled out his musique and grinned. He turned on the camera, having it face all three of them,

"Say cheese!" Then he snapped a photo of the three of them smiling.

Brad leaned to look at the picture,

"Oh that's nice! Can you send me that?"

"Oh sure!" Replied Sheldon as he texted the photo over. "Oh and Jenny, I'll just email it to you, ok?"

Jenny frowned, true, after the whole musique fiasco a year ago she no longer felt compelled to have a musique. However, she still felt left out knowing her friends had them.

She decided to brush it off and change the subject,

"So what do you guys have planned after high school?"

Sheldon beamed,

"I was thinking of going to a technical college somewhere!"

Brad puffs out his chest proudly,

"I think I might go join the SkyWake Academy! And just think, Jen, I would be trained to help you fight all the disastrous villains!"

Jenny sighed, he always did love adventure. She didn't say it, but he would probably be more of a problem then a help in those kinds of things.

"What about you Jenny?" Said Sheldon with glee, "Hopefully not too far hehe" he said awkwardly. Jenny and Brad stared at him as he gave a weird goofy grin.

Sheldon gulped,

"You know, to…uh, stay in touch of course."

Jenny rolled her optics, sighed and continued,

"Well, for crime fighting I would have to stay in Tremerton. My mom wants me to choose a math and science major, she is really hoping I actually take her place in the lab some day, but I didn't have the heart to tell her that I'm actually probably going to major in the arts, I actually really enjoy being on stage!" She rubbed her arm in embarrassment,

"I just told her I was going to be an open major, because I didn't want her to be upset."

Brad shrugged,

"She's gonna find out eventually, Jen."

Jenny groaned begrudgingly, thinking of her moms excitement earlier at the possibility of passing her lab to Jenny,

"I know."

Sheldon piped up,

"Wow, I didn't know you wanted to be an actress!"

Jenny smiled,

"Yea, I kind of found that I really liked it when our school did the "Romeo and Juliet" play last year."

Brad chimed in,

"Yea I remembered that! It was actually good!"

Sheldon nodded, and shoved his hands in his pocket

"Yea! Although, I still don't understand how the alien got to play Romeo, he doesn't even go to our school, let alone live on Earth!" He folded his arms and looked down, "I should have been Romeo in fact."

Jenny rolled her eyes and did a facepalm to the last remark.

Brad smirked and patted his back,

"Dude, nothing in our lives ever made sense…I mean-" He points to Jenny,

"Hello? One of us is a robot!"

Sheldon gave a sheepish grin,

"Heh, I guess that's true."

Both boys blushed out of embarrassment, and glanced at Jenny

"Er- no offense…"

Jenny shrugged, chuckling,

"No, you're right, my entire life is one big anomaly!"

They arrived as the bell rang, Brad grinned,

"Well guys, we're here! Now if you'll excuse me, I got ladies waiting to date me!" He said, pointing to himself with a smirk. He glided down the hall winking to every girl that he passes, most of them ignored him or just told him to buzz off.

"I better hurry, or I'll be late to my AP engineering class!" Sheldon makes his way into the hallway, turning toward Jenny and giving a huge grin, "Bye Jenny!"

She now stood alone in the hallway lined with lockers. The light illuminates, although some dark spots since some of the lights died out.

She never said it out loud, but as much as she loves Brad, Sheldon, and Tuck she always wished she had a friend that was a girl too. Brad and Sheldon try their best, but again, they're boys. And Tuck is only nine or ten!

She walked through the hall of Tremerton High, strolling her way to class. Her mind wanders a bit, true there was Vega, but she's busy ruling an entire planet and then there was…uhg Misty. Their last encounter didn't go so well and basically ended their friendship right then and there. Jenny grimaced, That loss of a friendship still hurts her.

She proceeded to think about her last four years at Tremerton High and her interaction with her fellow classmates. One memory in particular of her first day as a freshman took center stage of her mind, she remembers it all too well unfortunately. Her first interaction with the Krust cousins.

15 year old Jenny was so excited to be in high school and was so determined on becoming popular. When she saw the Krust cousins she knew she just had to be friends with them! She ran over to them and excitedly started to talk to them,

"What is up homeslices, my name is Jenny!" She ferociously shook Tiff's hand, leaving the girl stunned, "I have been doing some calculations and I think it would be totally fab, after a serious day of studying we hang out, kick it, and chill! And do our homework together!!" She clasped her hands together in innocent joy. Brit stared at her and slowly spoke, "Yes that would be…dope, but unfortunately our study group just filled up." Jenny would continue to try to interact with them for the rest of the day while they would keep pushing her away.

Jenny's cheeks blushed a light shade of blue at the memory out of embarrassment. She recalled multiple times how she fell victim to their harsh pranks just for the sake of popularity. She proceeded to mentally slap herself for her naiveness

"I can't believe I actually wanted to be friends with those jerks!" She grumbled to herself. If she could go back in time and punch some sense into her younger self she would do it in a nanosecond.

She shuffled into her class, "Advanced Design and Communication" and took her seat next to the wall in one of the rows. She looked over and saw those dreaded cousins sitting a couple rows over and snickering at her for some reason. She groaned rolling her eyes, "Great…just great."

Tiff spoke up with some venom in her voice,

"You lost Jenny? I think the auto repair shop is across the street!"

Brit laughed curtly,

"Oh Tiff, be fair! She's probably outdated enough, they would reject her anyways-ha!"

Jenny scowled and rested her head on her desk. She returned to her thoughts. Will she ever have a friend that's a girl? She never found one in Tremerton High, and the two she did find came from outer space and didn't stay.

She sighed. Maybe she will meet one in college? Does one even exist for her?

Maybe, she's hiding, she chuckled at her own little joke. The bell rang, Jenny turned her focus to the teacher who was handing out the syllabus, leaving that topic for another time.

————————————————————————

The moon held its position in front of the earth. From the distance you can see the sun reflecting its light off of that blue and green planet. Stars and planets danced their respectful orbits in the distance.

Dr. Wakeman laid back, with a small smile on her face as she gazed through space. Her and her old college classmates have just finished their lunch and their discussion on all the latest scientific research. They all started to pack up and head back to Earth.

Wakeman started packing up her essentials and loaded them in her ladybug shaped rocket ship. She was humming to herself in a joyful tune. As she placed the basket and blanket into the ship, she was interrupted by a soft whimpering noise. Wakeman paused and turned around,

What's that sound?

She stood still for a minute, maybe it was just her imagination. She was about to proceed filling up her ship again till she heard the whimpering sound even louder.

Wakeman whipped back around and decided to investigate. Where and what is that sound? She listened for the whimpering. Her eyes followed the sound. Eventually her eyes stopped and stared at the crater a few feet away from her

It's coming from inside that crater!

Wakeman slowly made her way to the whimpering sound. As she got closer, she realized it sounded like a girl, albeit with a mechanical sound to it.

She took a few more steps and peered inside. And just as she suspected, it was a girl! The girl had her knees close to her chest, her arms resting on her knees and her head collapsed into arms. She was crying.

Wakeman spoke softly as to not scare the girl of her presence,

"Miss, are you ok?"

The girl gasped, jerked her head up and stared at Wakeman. Her blue eyes were filled with tears streaming down her cheeks. She quickly sniffed, wiped away her tears. She spoke with her voice breaking,

"Y-yes, I'm fine. Just…enjoying the view from here" She forced a chuckle at the last part and made a slight gesture to Earth.

Dr. Wakeman frowned, being a mother of a teenage girl herself, she knew this girl was lying.

"No you're not." She continued softly, "I have seen this behavior before in my own daughter."

Wakeman gave a nice smile, and started to crawl in to the crater

"Do you mind if I join you?"

The girl flinched,

"No, if you knew what I really was, you would fear and hate me too!" She choked, "I'm a freak, a monster! Who would want me?"

Wakeman jumped a little from her reaction and felt a pang in her stomach. Those words sound way too uncomfortably familiar, probably because she heard her own child, Jenny herself, say the very same things.

Wakeman let out a heavy sigh, she proceeded to approach her and then sat by her and put an arm around the girl. The girl looked at her surprised by the odd comforting action,

"Why are you doing this?" Asked the girl

Wakeman sighed again,

"My daughter calls herself those exact same words." She nodded, "And unfortunately so do some of her classmates. Doesn't make it true though."

The girl rolled her eyes,

"Ok, but at least she probably has somewhere to belong. I don't belong anywhere! Not even my dad wants me, he didn't even come looking for me." Her eyes started welling up with tears again,

"Who could blame them, I'm…I'm not." She froze in pain.

Wakeman raised her eyebrow,

"Not what?"

The girl sniffed and in a softer tone replied,

"Not even a real girl. I'm actually just…a machine, a freaky robot." She narrowed her eyes as the pain swelled, looking away from Wakeman, "You probably hate me now…"

Wakeman gasped, holding the girl tighter,

"No, of course not! In fact, my daughter is actually a robot herself, and let me tell you she is real to me!"

The girl gave a small smile, and was surprised,

"Really? Your daughter is a robot? What is she like?"

Wakeman chuckled,

"Very much a teenager, she can be very stubborn but she has a good heart. You would like her!"

The girl gave an astonished expression, another teenage robot? Just like her? She couldn't believe what she was hearing!

Wakeman continued,

"Do you have a place to stay?"

The girl shook her head with a frown.

"I don't think I should be on Earth anymore."

Wakeman responded sternly,

"Nonsense! How about you come home with me?"

The girl was stunned,

"W-what? You want me to stay in your home?"

Wakeman nodded with a smile,

"Of course! We have plenty of room and I'm sure my daughter would love the company!"

The girl gasped and gave the women a tight hug

"Oh thank you, thank you!"

The girl moved back as she realized how tight that hug was, "I'm so sorry! Are you ok?"

Dr Wakeman chuckled as she cleared her throat,

"I'm used to it by now. My ship is that way." She pointed towards the lady bug styled ship.

Wakeman smiled and then, looked at the girl curiously,

"Sorry I did not properly introduce myself, I'm Dr. Wakeman, what's your name?"

The blonde haired girl beamed,

"Melody Locus."

Dr. Wakeman opened the ship doors, and grinned,

"Well it's nice to meet you Melody!"

The ship then closed and proceeded to take the two back to Tremerton.

Authors note: First Chapter done! This story is connected to my last one, this all takes place in Galaxy 666, which is pretty much the main timeline, so all of what happened in this universe so far matches the canon season 1-3 timeline.
