Chapter 1: Pilot
A/N: Hey guys! So after one really odd dream, extensive planning and messing around I have created something very chaotic and that I personally like, so I hope you enjoy!
The screen opens to reveal an empty dock in front of an island. Pacing on the dock is a blonde woman with exotic white clothing and accents of a glowing turquoise light from her chest. The woman also had a thick sheet of paper with lines on it
This odd woman continued rehearsing her lines until she realized that the camera was on, and immediately tossed the sheet of paper onto the water below
"Hello! We're coming live from Camp Wawanakwa, a single island somewhere in Inazuma. I'm you're host, the honorary knight of Mondstadt, Lumine! And this is the first episode of the best Teyvat reality T.V show!!" Lumine exclaimed before she began walk with the camera
"Here's how it goes, 16 campers have signed up to spend two months in this uninhabited island. They'll have to compete in harsh challenges and face the judgment of their fellow campers." She explained. "Once every 3 days each team will either win a reward or watch one of their team members walk the dock of shame," She gestured towards the dock she stood on. "ride the boat of pity," A picture of a rundown ship appeared in front of Lumine held by a small child wearing red, "and leave Wawanakwa for good."
The screen cut to a large campfire with 16 logs in front of the fire, as well as a small podium made of wood behind it
"This is where their fates will be decided every week, everyone except one person will receive a Primogem," Lumine explained as she suddenly held a small glowing object in the shape of a diamond
"In the end only one camper will be rewarded with the grand prize of one. Million. Mora! But be warned, these people will have to face Hilichurls, Slimes, Ruin Machines, the Abyss, the Fatui, and even...themselves!" Lumine continued as the camera continuously cut to an image of every being
"Every second will also be recorded using the the newest edition of Kameras which have been set all throughout the island, and even manned by our loyal Kamera Krew!" Lumine explained as the screen cut to various strange places which have Kameras that have been bizarrely taped to trees, stone pillars, animals, and even to a small zombie child with a talisman on her forehead
"Who will beat the competition? Find out here. In Total. Drama. Impact!!!" She said before the image cut off
After a flashy intro with catchy music that panned throughout the island as well as showing many of the contestants, the screen cut to the dock of shame with Lumine standing alone and with a small glowing orb in front of her
"Listen Ajax don't worry, it'll be fun I promise! You won't want to miss a second of it!" Lumine spoke to the orb, but upon realizing the camera was on her she used the power of wind to blast the small orb far out of sight
"Welcome back to Total Drama Impact, and it's time to meet our contestants." She said as just then a large brown boat with a dragon head at the front panned into sight. After many moments of hearing noises from the ship's crew a large walkway fell onto the dock
"Oh and by the way, I may have lied to the contestants that they'd be staying at a luxurious hotel, so be sure to watch their expressions." Lumine told with a wink
Immediately a woman hopped and skipped down the walkway. She wore a red outfit with noticeably small shorts, as well as goggles at the forehead and red bunny ears. On the woman's back was her backpack with a doll sticking out of it
The cheery woman happily skipped until she saw the host
"Amber, it's been too long, how's it been?" Lumine greeted but was met with a bear hug
"Lumine! I didn't know you were behind this! I haven't seen you in forever!" Amber exclaimed as there was an audible cracking noise
"Oh yeah well-you're kinda crushing my ribs here." Lumine gasped and was immediately let go
"Oh right sorry for that."
"It's alright, just walk this way." Lumine motioned
As the first contestant walked out of frame the next contestant walked with a baggy pack slung over his shoulder. He was tan with dark blue hair and he wore an eyepatch, plus he wore a small fur coat on his back
"Kaeya, long time no see, how ya' doing these days?" Lumine greeted the man as the two shook hands
"I'm doing quite fine." Kaeya looked around. "So this is what you've been doing while you're gone, how ever did you manage to find the money for this?" He prodded
"Ehe, I'd rather not mention it." She replied
"Interesting." Kaeya said as he walked away
"Hey Kaeya, I didn't know you were coming." Amber told the man as she stretched her limbs
"I prefer to keep some things private." He stated
The next person to walk into frame was a tall, blonde woman with crosses as earrings. She had blue eyes that seemed soft, but the rest of her mannerisms where those of authority. Beside her was a rolling suitcase that she dragged with her
"Jean, it's good to see you. Less work than usual?" Lumine asked as the two hugged each other
"I was told by Grandmaster Varka to come here, so I didn't have much choice. I also didn't know you were here too." She said before walking away
"Well if it isn't master Jean, or should I say Ex-master." Kaeya told the woman
"I'd rather you call me Jean instead, after all this isn't the knights headquarters." She replied kindly
After Jean walked out of frame the next person to show up was a teenage girl. She was blonde with twin pigtails, an eye patch and a she wore a strangely exotic and revealing purple outfit. Flying beside her was a dark purple crow, and strapped to him was a bag with the girl's things
"Fischl, Oz, how are my favorite travelers from another world doing?" Lumine asked as the two hugged
"I, Fischl Prinzessin Der Verurteilung, have been summoned here by the stars of fate to enact my rightful judgment and bring light to this realm!" She exclaimed while making odd gestures with her hands
"What she means to say is that she saw the flyer and thought this would be a fun experience." The bird translated
"Oh, well that's great. I'm sure you'll have fun." Lumine said as the two left, Fischl looking a little flustered
"It seems that many important people are here to participate in the games, hopefully we can hold our own." Oz told his master
"Fear not Ozvaldo Von Hrafnavines, for the light will prevail above all, even if it must pierce the darkest night." Fischl monologued, which seemed to confuse the people next to her
The next person to walk down the dock was a tall nun in a strangely provocative attire, which also had a darker theme than the usual outfit of the clergy. She had short, dark red hair that was covered by a cowl. The most noticeable aspect of her, aside from the metal spikes on her gloves that covered her nails, were the deep and dark eye bags that rested over her face. Beside her was a customized suitcase with black spikes all over it
"Oh Rosaria, I didn't expect you to be here." Lumine greeted
"Yeah well I'm here to make sure no one dies from this little 'event' of yours." She replied while walking eying her surroundings
"Ah, I didn't know that my drinking buddy was coming as well. If I had I would've brought some wine with me." Kaeya remarked
"That would've been a bad idea, especially since you would've fallen off the dock drunk had you done so." Rosaria clapped back
After Rosaria came a blue haired boy wearing a small white shirt and baggy white pants, both similar to that of a monk. Over his shoulder was a small white bag full of his bare necessities
"Hey-er, Chongyun? What're you doing here? I thought the flyers were only in Mondstadt." Lumine asked with clear confusion
"Oh really? That explains all the strange faces on the ride here. I was just told that there were a ton of ghosts in need of exorcizing here." The teen explained while walking away
"I guess you're not wrong."
As Chongyun walked over he was greeted by Amber
"Hiya, nice to see someone new. The name is Amber, Outrider to the Knights of Favonius." She said with a smile as the two shook hands
"Oh, nice to meet you Amber. I'm Chongyun, an excorsist." He replied
The following person to greet the host was a mysterious woman wearing stockings and a large purple hat. The woman also had twin pigtails made from her black hair, and there were many instances of a star throughout her outfit. She also had a small plastic bag that was held together by a short wooden stick
"Mona! Any chance you can predict this outcome?" Lumine commented as the two hugged
"Oh please, you know I don't use my powers for such vain means." She replied confidently
"Ah, it seems that a fellow harbinger of Light hath been summoned from distant lands to grace us with her presence. As my one and only equal I extend greetings unto you." Fischl greeted Mona as she walked over
"She says it's nice to see you Mona." Oz explained
"Oh, well it's good to see you too, ah 'fellow harbinger.'" Mona greeted in return
Once Mona walked away a new figure approached. He was tall with red hair and wore a dark yet sophisticated outfit. He also had a black suitcase that rolled with him
"Diluc Diluc, how's business in the wine industry?" Lumine asked as the two shook hands
"Better than expected. I also didn't expect to spend my vacations in a place like this." He replied
"Then there's always something for you" she said
"Well well well, if it isn't dear Diluc. What brings you here to such a trifling location." Kaeya asked as the man walked over
"I was told that there was a hotel and a prize, so I decided to come here. I'm not surprised to see that the prospect lured someone like you as well." Diluc responded
After Diluc came a teenage girl with grey hair. She wore a strange red and white maid outfit that had aspects of a knight like the gauntlets, boots and the single shoulder pad. She had an oversized backpack strapped to her back, which seemed to be too heavy for such a fragile figure, yet she carried it effortlessly
"Noelle, how's the maid of the Knights of Favonius doing?" Lumine said as the two hugged, albeit fairly awkwardly due to the backpack
"I'm doing fine thank you, I just hope I didn't bring too many things."
"Not at all, it'll all fit right in place."
Noelle casually walked away, which surprised Lumine that she could walk at all. She was then greeted by everyone there, minus Chongyun who didn't recognize her
"Noelle? I thought you would never leave Mondstadt." Jean gasped
"So did I, but Grandmaster Varka insisted that I take a break from my duty. I just hope that this doesn't hurt my training towards becoming a knight."
The next person to step into frame was a tall blue haired woman with a stern gaze. She wore an elegant white blouse with a black leather-ish sort of piece at the lower stomach as well as black boots. Beside her she carried a large white travel bag full of her stuff
"Eula of the Lawrence Clan, how's life treating you?"
"Horribly, but I'm just glad to get away from Mondstadt." She said
"Hey Eula, glad you could make it." Amber said as the woman walked towards her
"You're lucky that I decided to come with, otherwise I would've marked your transgression for leaving me alone." She replied
As Eula walked away the next person stepped in. It was a short teenage girl with blonde hair and pigtails. She wore an eccentric version of the outfit that the nuns of Favonius wore, but the skirt was large and breezy. She held a cute bag full of beside her
"Barbara, good to see you. Are you gonna sing for us soon?" Lumine asked
"Oh sure. If that is what people want then I will." Barbara said before she began to sing a quick tune with her elegant voice, which captivated Lumine throughout its duration
"Just breathtaking." She complimented as Barbara walked away
"Wow, that was some great singing." Chongyun spoke as everyone beside him nodded in agreement
"Thank you very much." She replied
After Barbara came someone new, a young girl with soft green hair, large round glasses and well hidden furry ears that blended in with the hair. She wore a small dark blue dress with a short skirt and a cape white cape that had sleeves as well. Beside her was a an oversized suitcase that rolled too quickly while going down the walkway
"Sucrose, planning on extending your research to farther plains." Lumine questioned as the girl looked around her surroundings
"Yes definitely. I can't wait to see the interesting wildlife that inhabit this island."
"I'm surprised that something like a 5 star hotel and one million mora would interest someone like you." Rosaria commented
"It doesn't really, but when I heard that the trip would take me to Inazuma I had to jump on the opportunity." Sucrose replied
The next person to show up was a man with messy blonde hair. He wore a blue dress shirt with black trousers and boots, as well as a strange white coat. Strapped to his back was a large white backpack with multiple tools hanging out and in his hands was a sketchbook and pencil that he drew on
"Albedo! Gonna investigate the environment while you're here?" Lumine said as the two briefly shook hands
"Yes, you could say that." He said before going straight back to his sketchbook
"Oh, what're you drawing Mr.Albedo?" Sucrose asked curiously
"The island itself, truly a beautiful sight." Albedo confessed as he revealed his incredibly detailed drawing of the island itself, receiving positive comments from everyone around
After Albedo came a teenage boy with long, wild and grey hair. He wore a sleeveless crop top and baggy green pants plus his small sleeveless cloak had its hood drawn over his head. On his back was a small backpack full of fruit. But rather than walk straight the wolf-like boy seemed very dizzy
"Hey Razor, like the trip so far?" Lumine joked
"Not so much. Boats make Razor sick." He said as he wobbled down the deck
"Oh lord Barbatos, let me help you." Barbara exclaimed as she stood Razor still
Barbara sang a short song but while she sang she used her catalyst, the Favonius Codex which appeared from thin air, to heal the wolf boy. After many moments the Razor was able to stand up straight
"Thank you, Razor feel better now."
The last person to show up was a bard with bright green clothing and a large cape. The only thing with him was his harp which was hung on his back with a thin string of yarn, and in his hand was an empty bottle of wine
"Uh...You seem to be a little drunk Venti." Lumine commented seeing as the bard wobbled down the walkway, dropping the wine bottle on the way down
"Hey ~hic~ Lumine, nice seeing you ~hic~ again!" The man said as he went over to Lumine for a kiss, however her hand stopped him from doing so
"Yeah, how's about you walk over there." She said as Venti giggled while walking towards the small crowd
"Leave it to Mondstadt's biggest drunkard to arrive with a bottle at hand." Diluc commented
"Oh hiiiii Diluc, any chance I can get another bottle? You can add it to my tab. ~hic~" Venti pleaded in a drunken manner
"Alright, 3, 9, 12. Hm. Where's the 16th contestant?" Lumine asked and was responded to by a shout
The camera panned directly to the boat to see a breathless teenage boy. The boy had grey hair and goggles over his head. He wore a sleeveless white shirt with dark blue trousers and a yellow bandana wrapped around his arm. On his back was a ripped and nearly torn apart backpack
"Sorry sorry, I fell asleep on accident." He said as he took a single step forwards
But for some odd reason a single wine bottle rolled just underneath his foot making the boy tumble forwards down the walkway. The boy eventually landed painfully on his back, facing the sky as well as Lumine
"Hey Bennett, need a hand?" She said as she helped pick the boy up, who thanked her as well
"Just as unlucky as ever huh?" She asked
"Yeah, but at least I didn't fall out the boat this time." He commented, leaving Lumine perplexed by the thought
"Oh if it isn't the helpless ill stricken boy, forgotten by the gods above. Oh what a shame that fate strikes at the most dire of situations, leaving one with a shattered persona." Fischl spewed
"Hehe, it's alright, the fall didn't hurt too much." Bennett replied, which left Fischl aghast
"You under- *ahem* Very well, it seems that you, loyal servant, are but one of few that understand the dialect of the Prinzessin." Fischl stated
"Right, well that's everyone."
It was then that the walkway retracted back into place, and the ship departed. As it left Lumine waved at the two people standing on the deck who waved back. One was a woman with black hair and a eye patch, and the other was a man with white hair and a single strand of red hair
"With that out of the way, it's time for a group photo. Everyone if you could please move to the end of the dock please."
The crowd set aside their things and walked to the end of the dock where they then posed for a group photo. Lumine stood at the other side with a Kamera at the ready, but for some odd reason there were a few problems with the Kamera
"Hm, what's wrong with this thing?" She asked herself as she tried to figure out the problem, though it took a good while
"What's taking so long?" Complained Mona
"Whatever it is she better hurry it up." Rosaria complained as well
"Hey, can anyone hear that cracking sound?" Asked Chongyun
"Right, sorry everyone. Now, say Wawanakwa!"
"Wawanakwa!!" They all shouted, but it was then that the dock gave in on itself, breaking into the water and sending everyone to the ocean below (all minus Oz, who flew in the hair harmlessly)
"Hm, that was rather unfortunate." Oz commented
"Sorry everyone, that was my fault." Bennett apologized to everyone
"So much for a warm welcome..." Kaeya remarked in the freezing water, though his vision of ice gave certain immunity to it
"I regret coming here..." Diluc complained, now soaked with salt water
As the people scrambled to get back on dry land, Lumine was left standing there, chuckling to herself. In her hand was a photo of the group in the ocean
"This'll be fun..." She said straight to the camera
A/N: Hey guys! So quick disclaimer that not every character will be 100% accurate to their normal character, but for the sake of fun I'll tweak them a little. Anyways, that's it for now
