"Ya done fucked up fellas. What is he doing here?" Majima demanded, staring at Ryuji passed out on the couch, pale and beaten up all to hell. The blond looked like he had gone twelve rounds in a ring.

The other two sitting on the sofa weren't looking too good either. Kiryu had small cuts on his face, his suit jacket torn in some places. Daigo was worse off; the younger man's left eye was swollen shut and he had blood all over his front.

"We were attacked before Ryuji could swear the oath. He took the brunt of it and got shot," Daigo replied.

"Well, did you forget the last time we had an Omi guy here, the clan damn near imploded? We still haven't recovered from this joker's last stunt." Majima gave Kiryu a pointed look.

Kiryu shook his head. "We couldn't just leave him out there."

Mine handed Daigo an ice pack. "Why don't we just return Goda to the Jingweon? I'm sure they would be happy having their prodigal son back," he suggested.

"After trying to ally with us, he's on their hit list now. This is the ultimate act of betrayal for them," Daigo explained. He placed the ice pack on his eye, sighing in relief.

To say they were surprised when Ryuji offered a peace treaty with them was an understatement; he could've pressed the Omi's advantage and annihilated the Tojo if he wanted to. The decision angered the patriarchs; it pissed them off enough to stage a coup against their leader.

Majima pinched the bridge of his nose, feeling a migraine coming on. "This is on me. This is what happens when I leave the two of ya alone." By giving Goda sanctuary, the Omi and probably the Jingweon were going to come after their asses. But it was too late to do anything now. They were stuck with the Omi chairman, whether they liked it or not.

"So where do we put him?" Kiryu asked.

Majima thought for a moment. "Tojo HQ is out of the question, obviously. And I just got my place renovated, so that's a no-go. Don't want this guy to get any ideas and blow up the Millennium Tower again." He then looked at Mine.

"No. Absolutely not," Mine said emphatically, before Majima even opened his mouth. He'd be damned if he let a stranger, let alone an enemy, stay in his penthouse.

That was the end of the conversation.

"Yeah, you'd probably smother Goda in his sleep," Majima remarked.

Daigo snickered at the comment. The poor guy was getting passed around like unwanted furniture. Who could blame them really; Ryuji was notorious for being difficult to work with.

"How about you Daigo-chan? Ya used to be best buds or somethin', right?"

Daigo, on the verge of dozing off, was wide-awake all of a sudden. "What? No way!"

Majima started ticking off on his fingers. "C'mon, ya have the perfect place. Ya live in a mansion by yerself, so ya have no problem with space. And not a lot of people know where it is, so it's very secure," he reasoned. "We have to keep Goda in one piece until we figure this out."

They were interrupted by a loud groan. Ryuji opened his eyes, blinking at the ceiling.

"Where am I? Is this hell?"

"You're in Kanto," Daigo answered.

The blond grimaced. "Ugh. Same thing." He then promptly passed out again.

Daigo stared at the group. So much was conveyed in his gaze. It was a 'See what I have to deal with' type of gaze. "So you're asking me to babysit the most obnoxious guy on the planet," he said slowly.

Kiryu and Mine gave him apologetic looks.

Majima grinned. "Yep. Take one for the team Daigo-chan."

Great. He just got ambushed twice in one night. Daigo let his head fall back with a thunk. "Fine. I'll do it," he muttered, too tired to protest. He just wanted to go home and sleep for a week. A minute later, he was out cold.

"We gotta get these two checked out. They ain't lookin' too hot," Majima observed, peering at Daigo.

"I'll go to Dr. Emoto and ask him to make a house call. Daigo gave Ryuji some of his blood, but I think that doctor from Sotenbori took too much. At least she managed to stabilize him," Kiryu informed them.

Dawn was already breaking when their emergency meeting finally ended. Kiryu and Majima carried Ryuji to Mine's car.

"You think they'll be ok?" Mine asked, as he placed his sleeping kyodai in the backseat. Daigo didn't even stir.

Majima shrugged. Daigo was the best one to deal with Goda out of all of them. He would manage.

"Eh. They'll be fine."
