Dream thought that he might go crazy. George had been ignoring him for three days now and he wasn't sure how much more he could handle. Normally there wouldn't go a day without them speaking and now there had been three.

There was only an hour left before him and Sapnap had to leave and drive over to his family's house and he was already done with everything. He had showered then fixed his hair and then chosen an acceptable outfit. Now the only thing left was to wait.

"Dream!" He could hear Sapnap yell from downstairs.

"Yes?" He shouted back.

"Are you done with everything?"

"Yes?"

"Okay good." What was that? He wasn't a child, he could take care of himself. Almost ten minutes later of doing nothing at all, Dream was so bored. He hadn't been so bored in a very long time and decided to therefore go and annoy Sapnap.

A couple minutes ago he had heard Sapnap go back to his room upstairs and now went to knock on his door. When he got a response he simply opened the door and went to lay down on Sapnaps bed. He closed his eyes.

"What are you doing?" Sapnap, who sat in front of his computer, asked. Dream didn't answer but instead just smiled. "You're so annoying."

"You're the one who is annoying." He muttered.

"Whatever you say, big guy." Sapnap said before turning around. "Anyway Karl," Oh, Sapnap was talking to someone. Well to late now. Dream opened his eyes and looked to his right.

"Patches!" He shouted excitedly and picked up his cat that he hadn't seen before. She purred happily as she laid down in his lap. Dream smiled and looked up at Sapnap, who was looking at him. "What?" He asked but Sapnap didn't answer.

"What day did you say you were filming that video on again Karl?" Dream listened as they kept talking and was almost about to fall asleep when something hit him in the face. It was a pillow thrown by Sapnap. "Get up, we have to go." Dream blinked a couple of times. Patches was long gone and before him stood Sapnap. Dream sighed and stood up. He looked at himself in a mirror in Sapnaps room and was relieved when he saw that his hair wasn't too messed up.

Dream reached for the car keys to the rented car but Sapnap stopped him. "Don't think you're driving." He said and took the keys. Dream was about to protest but realized that it was probably for the best. They had about twenty minutes to drive and Dream already felt tired.

"There was actually something I wanted to talk to you about." Sapnap hesitantly spoke. Dream turned his head to him and raised his eyebrows. "Uh...could I move into the bedroom on the first floor?"

"Yeah sure." He paused. "Why are you so nervous?"

"I don't know, I guess I was just nervous you would say no."

"Why? It's not only my house, it's yours too."

"You paid for it." Sapnap stated.

"Still." It was quiet for a bit. "Why do you wanna move rooms? Something wrong with the one you have now?"

"No, not like that. I just like the one downstairs better. It has a bigger window and a bigger wardrobe."

"I guess you're right." It was silent for the rest of the way and soon they were there. Sapnap parked in front of the big blue house that Dream had grown up in. They both got out of the car and stared up at the building. It was a while since he had been here. The door opened and his younger sister came running out and flew into Dream's arms.

"Clay!" She shouted.

"Paige!" He shouted back and embraced her.

"Don't I get a hug?" Sapnap said while pouting. She looked at him disappointingly but then went over to hug him too.

"Fine." She sighed.

"What are we having for dinner?" Dream asked while starting to walk the path that led to the house.

"Chicken I think."

"You think?"

"Yes, I didn't cook it."

"I am assuming Hannah and Matt aren't here yet." He said and stepped into the house. It did indeed smell like some kind of chicken was going to be served.

"Yep, you two are kinda early." His sister said and his mom appeared around a corner. She wore a blue apron that had a bunch of different flowers on. As far as Dream knew, she had had that one his whole life.

"Clay! Nick! So glad you two could make it." She said and hugged them both.

"Of course."

His mom insisted that the two didn't need to help with the food and they ended up in the living room on one of the couches. He of course got all of the questions about how he was doing and all that, but he waved them all off. He had already answered once, he didn't need to do it a hundred times more. Soon there was a knock on the door and they all went to greet the new guest.

"Matt!" His mother greeted, and in the doorway Dream's slightly older brother stood. Everybody always said how the two of them looked so similar. However, Dream could not see it. Sure, they both had blonde hair, but everyone in his family had that, they also had the same eye color. But except for that, everything else was different.

Matt went around and hugged everyone while saying hello, last one being Dream.

"Well, hello little brother." He said and messed up Dream's hair.

"Hey, stop!" He said and laughed as he fixed his hair again. There was another knock at the door and his mom who stood nearest opened it. Dream's sister, Hannah and her girlfriend, Leah came in. They were greeted with hugs and since Sapnap had never met Leah, Hannah introduced them.

"Leah, this is my brother's best friend Nick. Nick, this is my girlfriend Leah." She mumbled, she wasn't the most talkative person. Leah smiled and took a step forward to shake Sapnap's hand.

"I didn't know you had a girlfriend." Sapnap said and Leah's smile disappeared.

"Yeah, she has a girlfriend. You have a problem with that?" She asked defensively and crossed her arms. Sapnap's eyes widened.

"Oh no, no of course not!" He started to defend himself. Leah looked doubtful and turned to Dream.

"I really hope you haven't picked a homophobe to be friends with." Dream was about to say something but Sapnap did before him.

"I promise you, I'm not."

"I really hope so, for your own sake." She turned around and took Hannah's hand before walking off into the living room.

"Great job dude." Dream muttered sarcastically to Sapnap, who was blushing from embarrassment.

"Shut the fuck up." He responded and lightly shoved him. They went back to the living room and engaged in the conversation that was already going on. Not many minutes later they were informed that the dinner was ready and went to get seated around the dinner table. The food was already there and it smelled absolutely amazing, as usual.

"Well, go on. I don't wanna keep anyone waiting." His mom said and they all started to take food and eat it.

"So Clay, how is your career going?" Dream turned his head to his brother but before he could answer, Paige did it for him.

"Oh that is going amazing. He's making millions by the second." Dream blushed and looked down. He didn't exactly like when people talked about his money and 'millions by the second' was a very big exaggeration.

"Shut up." He mumbled.

"Well, it's true!" His sister shouted back and laughed.

"Yeah but he is also 'making millions by the second'!" Dream said and pointed to Sapnap who sat beside him.

"What? Don't drag me into this dude, you make so much more than me."

"Yeah and then I have to pay everything for you." He smiled when he saw how embarrassed Sapnap got.

"You volunteer to do it."

"Does Nick have the same job as you?" Leah interrupted their conversation. Dream nodded.

"Yep."

"Oh so did you meet each other through the job then or…?"

"Well, technically no. We were friends before we started with this whole thing. But we met through the same game that we now have our careers thanks to."

"That's interesting." They went on to talk about other things and Dream was glad to be spending time with his family. It meant that his mind was taken off George at least temporarily, till Sapnap just had to bring him up.

"That's something George would say." He nonchalantly said to something Matt had said and Dream was about to choke on his food. Sapnap looked at him and seemed to realize his mistake. "Sorry." He whispered and now everyone's attention was on them. Dream stood up and began to walk out of the dining room. He just needed some quietness.

"Excuse me, I'm just gonna..." He didn't bother finishing the sentence and just got the hell out of there. He ended up on the stairs that led to the second floor and just sat there to calm down for a bit. Why did the mention of his name make him feel like this? Why did that make him panic? Honestly pathetic, he had to stop this.

"You good?" Someone asked and he looked up, it was Leah.

"Not really." He answered honestly.

"Knowing you, I guess you don't want to talk about it." She said while sitting down beside him on the stairs.

"You are guessing right." He said and she smiled slightly. "Glad to know someone cares."

"Come on Clay, you know everyone in this house cares about you." She paused. "Besides, you're my brother-in-law. Why wouldn't I care?" Dream smiled.

"Don't you have to be married to my sister for me to technically be your in-law sibling?" Suddenly it was as if the mood changed. Leah tensed up and seemed hesitant when she spoke. Which was weird, Dream had never once seen her like this. She was always so confident and sure of herself.

"I guess..." She trailed off. "There was actually something I wanted to tell you."

"Okay?"

"I am going to propose to her." She said in a small voice. Dream's smile grew.

"Really? That's amazing!" He said and hugged her. She seemed shocked but accepted the hug. "I'm sure she is going to say yes, she loves you very much." She blushed. It wasn't really surprising that this happened now. It was inevitable. The two girls had known each other for years and had been in a relationship for over a year now. That one of them was going to propose was bound to happen.

"I know. Thank you. Really, it means a lot." She said in a sincere voice. Hannah and Leah were really lucky to have each other. This was the news he needed to lift his mood.

"Of course, future sister in law." He smiled and she just shaked her head.

"You are going to end up telling her, aren't you?"

"What? No! Don't you have any trust in my ability to keep secrets?" He shouted and she laughed.

"No, I definitely don't have any trust in that."

"Shut up." He said and laughed.

"So how's your love life going?" She asked with a smirk.

"Horrible." He truthfully told her.

"If you don't mind me asking, how so?" He debated not telling her anything for a while but eventually came to the conclusion that there wasn't any harm in doing it. Besides, maybe another perspective that wasn't Sapnap would be useful.

"Well, I'm in love with my best friend." She seemed confused and looked over in the direction of the dining room.

"Your homophobic friend?" She asked and it seemed as if she was ready to take on a pitying and comforting role. He shaked his head and signed.

"He's not homophobic." He defended Sapnap. "Besides, it's not him."

"You have another best friend?" He nodded. "I'm pretty sure you are only supposed to have one best friend. You know, 'cause they are your best friend."

"Well, I have more than one best friend so I guess it's possible."

"Okay but what exactly is the problem? Can't you just confess to them? Or have you already done that?"

"Well first of all he lives in England."

"Oh, he?" She questioned with a small smile.

"Um yeah, that's the second problem. He's straight."

"Has he told you that or…are you just assuming?" That was a really good question to be honest.

"Well I'm sure he's told me that at least once...But he has said it on stream, I know that."

"Wait, he's also a streamer?" He nodded. "That sounds exhausting."

"I guess so." He answered, not really understanding what she meant by that.

"But I still don't really see the problem. You said he was straight but you weren't sure right? Also everything you say online isn't true. But has he ever said to you privately that he is straight?" Dream thought about it but couldn't recall a single moment.

"I suppose...not."

"Exactly, something positive. And you know you can still confess even if he is straight?" Yeah, sure.

"That's the thing, I can't. He's been my best friend for years and if I was to confess that would destroy everything. He wouldn't act the same around me. Also we have to keep our online relationship intact. Our viewers would definitely notice if he started to become uncomfortable around me."

"Does all that really matter so much? Isn't the most important part you and him?" She was right, that was the most important part. But that doesn't mean that he could ignore all the other parts.

"Yes but...he's ignoring me right now."

"Why, what did you do?" She asked and he thought about how to answer. It was actually a quite long story but he would have to cut it short.

"You know about my car accident right?" She nodded. "Well, first of all I guess I should tell you that I've been having panic attacks recently. And well they are because of him. Because I have been so scared of how I'm falling in love with him. Then-"

"You had a panic attack that caused your car crash." She finished for him. He nodded, surprised that she had been able to guess that.

"Yeah...well then a couple of days ago i was talking to him and you know accidentally invited him to come to Florida. To come here."

"How do you accidentally invite someone?" Yeah, he wondered that too.

"I don't know, it just slipped. Anyways it doesn't matter, i almost had a panic attack after we hung up. Then he found out about the panic attack I almost had."

"Tell me again how that…?" She questioned and Dream understood what she meant.

"Well, keep in mind that he had previously begged me to tell him the reason for my panic attack."

"And he was the reason so you could obviously not tell him that."

"Exactly and you know how I told you that he found out." She nodded. "Okay so look, obviously he would begin to question something if i had a panic attack right after speaking to him."

"Yeah, that's suspicious." She agreed.

"Then he called me, shouting at me to tell him why I have panic attacks. When I didn't tell him he asked me…" He sniffled and was surprised. He didn't know when he had started crying. Leah's hand gently stroked his back.

"You don't have to continue." She reassured but he shaked his head. He had to tell somebody else about this.

"I want to." She nodded encouragingly.

"Okay, but take your time." He nodded and took a deep breath before continuing.

"So he asked...If we really were best friends because I never told him anything anymore. And...I didn't have an answer so he just left..."

"And you said that was a couple of days ago? Have you tried calling him after that?"

"Y-yes. But only like the first day. I stopped trying after he didn't answer."

"How often do you usually talk to him?" She asked and he thought about it. It had to be everyday, right?

"Basically everyday i guess. At least a couple of hours."

"Damn, that's a lot." Yeah, and now that George was ignoring him he had all of these hours to do absolutely nothing.

"I know."

"And now it's nothing at all." She stated.

"Yeah. I miss him." A few more tears ran down his cheeks and Leah hugged him. It was nice, he really liked hugs.

"Is his name George?" She whispered and Dream looked up at her, surprised. How the hell did she figure that out?

"Yes, how did you know?"

"I figured it out from what Nick said earlier, when you left." He nodded. That made sense.

"Um Dream?" Someone said and when he looked up he saw Sapnap stand awkwardly before them. Dream let go of Leah and stood up. "I'm so sorry. I shouldn't have-" He began to apologize but Dream interrupted him by giving him a hug.

"Shut the hell up, you have nothing to apologize for." He said and hugged him even harder.

"You're squeezing me. I can't breathe!" Sapnap shouted and Dream let go of him and laughed.

"Sorry." He chuckled. Sapnap glanced over Dream's shoulder at Leah before quickly looking away.

"So, what are you two doing?" He awkwardly asked and looked at a picture on the wall.

"I told her everything." Sapnap's eyes widened and he looked over to Leah again. But once again looked away quickly. Was he scared of her or something?

"Everything?"

"I think so at least."

"Good." Sapnap exclaimed and leaned against the wall. He looked really relieved.

"You don't have to look so relieved!" Dream complained and leaned against the wall opposite him. Sapnap just smirked.

"Sorry! It's just nice to not have to bear the burden to myself." Oh and now he was calling his feelings a burden. Damn.

"Ah, yes! The burden."

"Are you sure you're not homophobic?" Leah, who still sat on the stairs, asked. Sapnap's smirk disappeared.

"Yes, I'm sure!" Leah didn't look convinced. "I'm not even...straight." His voice lowered at the last word. All of a sudden she stood up and walked up to Sapnap and Dream moved. The halfway wasn't wide enough for all of them there at the same time. Sapnap and Leah now stood face to face.

"Are you scared of me?" She asked with a small smirk. It actually looked quite funny from Dream's perspective. Even though Leah was shorter than Sapnap she still looked scarier.

"Why would I be that?" Sapnap asked and surely tried to sound more confident than he looked. But that just ended up looking pathetic. Dream began laughing and just shaked his head.

"Come on, let's go back to the others." He said and pushed both of them in the direction of the dining room.

Maybe he could call Quackity, he was usually not busy this time of the day. But on the other hand he would have to talk if he did that. But oh well, the boredom overtook and he ended up calling him.

"Are you in your car?" He asked after Quackity had picked up.

"Hello to you too. And yes I am in my car. Thank you for asking George."

"You're always in your car. Where are you going all the time?"

"I'm a busy man, what can I say? I drive around thinking about law stuff, you know some of us actually have school."

"I don't get it, just drop out." George said, continuing one of the bits from a Quackity stream a couple of weeks ago. God, was it really just a couple of weeks ago? It felt like months.

"No, I actually happen to quite like it."

"Yeah and you are alone in that."

"Anyways, what are you up to?"

"I'm bored." He said truthfully. Though he didn't really feel like that was the correct word, because he was beyond bored.

"Didn't have anyone else to call?" He teased and he was actually partly right. All of the other people he could talk to would demand that he was more present in the conversations. But with Quackity he could sit silently and just listen. It was the same way with Dream and Sapnap but those two were obviously not an option.

"No-nope, you were unfortunately my last option."

"I'm sure." Quackity didn't ask anything more about it and they went on to talk and tease each other about other things.

For a while Quackity was a good distraction. He was easy to talk to and didn't take George's teasing to heart. He could just sit in his chair and listen as Quackity talked about his day or his school or anything. And then they could sit in a comfortable silence listening to the hum of Quackity's car. At least until Quackity decided to break one of these silences.

"You know, Nick told me." He mindlessly said and George's head snapped up.

"Told you what?"

"That you are ignoring them." Of course he did.

"So what?" He asked.
