Meanwhile, over at the training grounds, Luz was practicing again with Raven and Amity watching over her.

"You're doing good, Luz," said Raven as she watched Luz standing in the middle of her own magical energy.

"Yeah, but it's tough to keep this going," said Luz as some beads of sweat rolled down her face.

"Then this would be a good time to take a break," said Raven. At this, Luz's magic vanished as she collapsed to the ground.

"Are you alright?" asked Amity as she ran over with a water bottle.

"Yeah, but that was more strenuous than I thought it would be," said Luz before taking a sip of water.

"It's because you've never used your own magic before," said Raven.

"Imagine you were born without the ability to walk, but then you had surgery and were finally able to move your legs, you would need to train to actually get used to it as they have grown too weak to support your weight," she said.

"So, what I'm doing right now is basically physical therapy," said Luz.

"That's right, and soon your magic will grow to a point where this level of training won't even tire you out if you did it for days," said Raven.

"Cool, but this is all I can do for today, I have something else to do right now," said Luz as she stood up after checking the time.

"Oh, you have other plans?" asked Amity.

"Cerise is going to show me around town and help me get a gift for Eda and the others," said Luz.

"Sounds fun," said Raven.

"Oh, Amity, why don't you come too so you can get gifts for your family?" asked Luz.

"Sure, and I bet you're going to ask Willow and Gus to come along with us," said Amity.

"Nay, they went shopping earlier," said Luz.

"Maybe we can find some clothes that make you even cuter," she said while walking away. Upon hearing this, Amity froze in place as her face went tomato red.

"Wow, either Luz is really oblivious to the effect she has on Amity, or she really likes teasing her," thought Raven as she looked at Amity.
