Meanwhile, in Raven and Apple's room, the witch was doing her homework when Apple walked over.

"Raven, can we talk?" asked Apple.

"You don't want to be roommates anymore, do you?" asked Raven as she stopped doing her homework to look down at her desk with a hurt expression.

"What, no!" said Apple who was completely shocked.

"Why would you even think that?" she asked.

"I figured you wouldn't want to stay here after learning that I'm bi," said a surprised Raven.

"You're my friend, Raven, I'd never feel like leaving just because of your sexuality," said Apple while sitting down on the side of the witch's bed.

"Then… then what were you wanting to talk about?" asked Raven as a blush came to her cheeks.

"I talked to Briar about what we talked about last night, leaving out anything about you because I felt that you don't want to out yourself yet," said Apple.

"And she told me that it was my grandmother who made gay marriage illegal and the other stuff she was trying to do," she said.

"That couldn't have made you feel any better about all of this," said Raven.

"Truthfully it shocked me even more, but at the same time it made me furious that a member of my family would do something like that," said Apple while tightening her fists on the hem of her dress.

"But I was even more mad when I learnt that my mother has done nothing to fix this," she said as her grip grew to the point that her knuckles were turning white.

"Hey," said Raven as she grabbed Apple's hand, causing her hands to open and her heart to begin beating faster.

"She probably has a reason she hasn't done it, so maybe you should talk to her about this and get her side of things, Apple," she said.

"You may be right; a… and there is one other thing I have to tell you," said Apple who was blushing harder by the second.

"What is it?" asked Raven.

"I… I actually don't want to marry Daring," said Apple while looking down at their hands. This also just caused Raven to stare at her with a shocked expression.
