"Hang on, you don't actually want to marry Daring?" asked Raven after recovering from her initial shock.

"No," said a nervous Apple.

"Truthfully I've never felt anything for him hexcept for disgust when he acts like a big shot, and I especially can't stand it when he thinks he's the hottest thing in the world," she said.

"B… but you're always going on about how much you can't wait to marry him," said Raven who was growing more shocked by the second.

"I act like that because it's what people hexpect from me," said Apple while finally looking up at her.

"So, you were just going to go through with marrying someone you don't even love?" asked Raven.

"Yeah, I was really stupid, huh?" asked Apple while standing from the bed and walking away.

"Was?" asked Raven.

"You didn't think I was just telling you all of this for nothing, did you?" asked Apple as she turned back to look at the witch.

"Are you planning to rebel?" asked Raven who was so shocked that she jumped up to her feet.

"Not fully, but yeah," said Apple. The two of them were then interrupted by Raven's mirrorphone buzzing on the desk

"It's from Cerise," said Raven after picking up the phone.

"Hey, can you ask Briar to throw a party?" she asked as a mischievous smile came to her face. Meanwhile, Amity was back in her dorm room with Willow.

"So, how was your date?" asked Willow.

"It wasn't a date, Willow," said Amity as she sat on her bed, her whole face a nice shade of red.

"But you wish it had been," said Willow as she gave the other witch a teasing smile.

"Alright, I didn't tell you about my crush on Luz just for you to tease me!" whisper screamed Amity.

"Sorry, but maybe you should try and tell Luz how you feel," said Willow.

"Last time I tried, Grom happened," said Amity.

"She's not going to stay on the Isles forever, and you may miss the chance," said Willow. The two then went silent as Luz came into the room.

"Don't know about the two of you, but I'm going to sleep like a baby tonight," said Luz as she walked right over to her bed and plopped down on it.
