"What did I miss?" Ayumu scooted past Bakugo and fell into the space beside him.

"Nothing yet. Todoroki is going to fight Sero." Kirishima turned back in his seat to look up at Ayumu and Bakugo.

Ayumu scooted forward in her seat and leaned on her elbows, "Doesn't seem like a super fair fight."

"I don't know, I think Sero can hold his own." Kirishima turned back around to the field just as Sero shot his tape around Todoroki and spun him around in an attempt to fling him from the ring.

Suddenly, the stadium shook and a wall of ice shot it toward the class. Ayumu jumped back and Bakugo grabbed her shoulder forcing her down into the seat.

"Sit down, idiot, you're going to hit yourself on the ice."

"Nice try!" The chorus began to echo throughout the stadium to try and Sero and Present Mic announced a pause in the games to clean up the ice.

"Should we go do something while we wait?" Ayumu suggested to anyone who was listening.

"Sure! Let's go get a drink." Mina maneuvered her way out of her seat, avoiding the ice and up the stairs closest to her.

Ayumu climbed back over her seat and into the back row of chairs before going up the stairs nearest her. Mina waited for her at the top and they headed out toward the food area together.

"Are you nervous? It's almost your turn!" Ayumu asked excitedly.

Mina smiled brightly, "Not at all! I've got a plan!"

"Oh really? What are you thinking?" Ayumu asked as she got into the drink line.

Mina put her finger to her lips, "Can't tell ya, it's a secret!"

Ayumu laughed, "Fair enough."

"So I saw you run out after your boyfriend's match." Mina teased.

Ayumu felt her stomach sink, "He's not my boyfriend… and I don't really want to talk about Hitoshi."

"Oh, sorry." Mina studied Ayumu's face for a moment, "Anything I can help with? You can always vent to me."

Ayumu forced a smile and moved up in line, "Not really unless you can turn back time. He's being such an ass. He brainwashed me during the obstacle course and won't apologize for it. He thinks he did the right thing." Ayumu rolled her eyes, "I just can't believe he would break his promise like that."

Mina put her hand on Ayumu's shoulder and smiled up at her, "It'll be okay. I'm sure he just wanted to show off his powers. That's kinda the whole point."

Ayumu moved up in line again and out from under Mina's hand, "Yeah, but he didn't have to use me. I lost all of my support items because of him."

"What? You spent forever on that paperwork!"

"I know!"

"You should have started with that! What a jerk!" Mina crossed her arms and shot a glare back toward the stadium. "And after all that work you put in with Bakugo, you didn't even get to show off."

Ayumu wiped her face with her hands, "I know."

Mina's lips pulled at the corners as she fought back a smile, "Speaking of Bakugo, I noticed you two sitting together. Those late nights working together made you close."

"We're not that close, really." Ayumu turned to the counter to order, "Can I get a sprite, water, and… Mina, what do you want?"

"Just water."

"And another water, please." Ayumu paid and took the drinks off the counter and handed Mina one of the water bottles.

"Who did you get the water bottle for?" Mina bit back giggles as Ayumu took a sip of her sprite.

"Bakugo, he should make sure he's hydrated before he goes into his match." Ayumu shrugged.

"Did he ask you for it?"

"No, but-" Ayumu stopped walking as she caught a glimpse of Mina's face.

Mina was watching her, biting her lip to keep from laughing. Ayumu laughed to herself and started walking again.

"Don't you have a match to get ready for?" Ayumu said as she bumped Mina with her shoulder.

Mina bumped her back, "I have time. I'll go after Kaminari's match."

Ayumu and Mina separated as they got back to the top of the stairs and took their separate staircases to their seats.

"Here." Ayumu dropped the water bottle into Bakugo's lap. "I thought you could use some water before you go to get ready."

Bakugo glanced at her and then the water in his hands before twisting the cap off, "Thanks, I guess."

The ice had melted away and Kaminari had stepped out onto the field along with a girl, Shiozaki, from Class 1-b. The fight was over almost before it started. His electricity had been no watch for her control of the vines that created her hair. Shiozaki had blocked his shock and wrapped him up in her hair. He was escorted to Recovery Girl's office to wait out his short circuit.

Next Iida fought a girl from the support class, Hatsume, but it wasn't much of a fight. The girl just pulled out gadget after gadget to show off.

"Is this even allowed?" Ayumu voiced out loud.

As the girl stepped out of the ring, forfeiting the fight, Iida broke out into a fit of rage, shouting at her on the field.

"I feel like that wasn't really fair." Ayumu commented.

Bakugo made a noise beside her, "Maybe, Glasses, shouldn't be so damn trusting."

Mina's match against Aoyama was next. Mina spent the match dodging his laser, until finally she slammed acid onto his belt and punched him in the jaw, knocking him to the ground.

"Aoyama had fainted. The winner of the match is Ashido!" Midnight announced.

Ayumu clapped and cheered for her friend. Bakugo watched her for a moment before his attention was pulled down to Midoriya's mumbling.

Yaoyorozu and Tokoyami were next. As soon as Present Mic announced the match to begin, Yaoyorozu conjured a shield and Dark Shadow began his attack. He slammed into the shield over and over, breaking it and forcing her to make a second one, suddenly everything stopped. As soon as Dark Shadow ceased his attack, Yaoyorozu made a second weapon, but it was too late.

"Yaoyorozu, you're out!" Midnights called.

Ayumu let out a small sigh, "Oh, that sucks. I was really rooting for her."

Without replying, Bakugo stood up and started up their stairs.

"Where are you going?" Ayumu leaned back in her seat.

Bakugo didn't turn around, "Getting ready."

"Hey," Ayumu stood up and Bakugo stopped and turned to look at her, "Don't forget your water." She tossed the bottle to him and he caught it easily, "And good luck."

Bakugo rolled his eyes and turned away from her, "I already told you I don't need luck."

Ayumu watched him go and disappear behind the barrier separating the sections before turning back toward the arena where Kirishima and Tetsutetsu from class 1-b had entered the ring. The match went on for a while, the two didn't bother blocking one another's punches. Each one just as strong as the other, basically mirrors to one another. The match ended in a draw, both boys knocked out and Midnight announced that the winner would be decided later, once the two woke up.

Kaminari and Sero came down the stairs and took their seats beside Ayumu just as Kirishima was being wheeled out. "Hey, what did we miss?"

Ayumu turned to Kaminari, "Nothing really, Bakugo is going to fight Uraraka next. Here they come now."

The two stepped out onto the field and into the boundary. Midnight's voice rang through the stadium as she announced that the match was about to begin.
