It was the night before Colin's wedding, and Colin was spending his last night of freedom at Finn's apartment.

"Colin, did you invite Logan over like I told you?" Finn asked.

"Yes, I told him that you had said he could come over, and wanted to call a truce on everything for the weekend of the wedding. He said he had to think about it and he would see. So I guess we'll just see if he shows up." Colin said from his position on the couch.

"Okay, I just wanted to know how much pizza to order. Hopefully he doesn't try and pull any shit. I really don't want to have to get into anything during your wedding." Finn said, handing Colin a beer.

"It will be okay Finn, I think even Logan knows how to behave for the length of a wedding. The reception maybe not but the actual wedding sure."

Just then there was a knock at Finn's door. "Did you order the pizza already?" Colin asked.

"No, I was just about to," Finn answered as he made his way to the door.

"Hey, can I come in?" Logan was standing at the door, with pizza and a bottle of scotch in his hand.

"Sure, I see you brought your entry fee with you." Finn joked.

"Hey man," Colin shouted from the couch, "I wasn't sure if you were going to make it or not."

"I needed away from Summer for a bit so here I am. Where's all your stuff man?" Logan asked, having just looked around Finn's place.

"Oh, I am just getting the place ready to sell so I had to move some of the personal stuff around for the pictures."

"Selling up? Where are you going?" Logan asked as he poured three glasses of scotch.

"We bought a house a few blocks away from here, we get possession this week and then will move in probably in a month once we decorate it." Finn answered.

"You never told me this was possession week." Colin said, giving Finn a playful punch.

"You never asked," he answered with a shrug.

"That's because I'm too jealous. Logan you should see this place, it's like a dream house."

"Really? A dream house? In what way?" Logan asked with an eyebrow raise.

"It has six bedrooms, and what, eight bathrooms, a rooftop garden terrace, a wine cellar, a library, a freaking elevator, what am I forgetting Finn?" Colin asked, having answered on Finn's behalf.

"It has nine bathrooms, other than that I think you covered it all." Finn said with a shrug, he knew the house was amazing but he also didn't want to brag.

"Wow, those kind of houses don't come up too often on the market. Did the parentals buy it for you as a wedding present?" Logan asked.

"No we bought it, my parent's wanted to buy us a house as a wedding present, but this one was just too much to ask them to pay for so we got it ourselves." Finn said, looking pointedly at Logan, he knew Logan was dying to ask how they could afford it, but he also knew if Logan asked that would be the end of any weekend truce.

"So what is the plan for the evening?" Logan asked, changing the subject.

"I think it's just some scotch and a movie. If we start playing cards we will never get to bed and I have to get sleep tonight or tomorrow will kill me." Colin replied.

"And if that happens Stephanie will kill us all."

The morning of the wedding arrived and the guys all headed to the hotel to get ready. Colin and Stephanie's wedding was being held at St Patrick's Cathedral with the reception at the Plaza. The guys and girls were all getting ready in separate suites at the plaza.

"Finn come here, before we start getting ready can you take this to Steph? I know you want to see your girl as well so don't even pretend that it's an inconvenience to you."

"Fine, seeing as you asked so nicely," Finn replied, taking the red Cartier gift box from Colin. "Anything I need to say?"

"No, there is a note in there for her."

Finn went up two floors to where the girls suite was situated and knocked on the door. He could hear the giggles, and sounds of general mayhem through the door.

"Oh hi Finn, It's just Finn," Juliet shouted into the suite.

"What do you mean just?" Finn said with a pout.

"Come on in Finn," Steph shouted.

"Steph, you look just darling. I love what you have done with your hair," Finn joked. Stephanie's hair was currently wrapped in several large rollers all over her head.

Stephanie just rolled her eyes. "What can we do for you Finn?"

"I brought you a present from Colin, and I wanted a good morning kiss from my woman, who I have yet to see?" Finn said, looking around. Just as he spoke Rory walked into the sitting room of the suite from one of the bedrooms.

"Finn, what are you doing here?" Rory asked as she was pulled into his arms.

"He said he had something for me, which he has yet to give me as he has been too busy trying to ogle your ass through your robe," Stephanie responded.

"Wow, you are bitchy when you have to wait, aren't you, love?" Finn handed Stephanie her gift from Colin, then he joined the girls and watched her open it. He held Rory loosely in his arms while they watched. Colin had gotten Stephanie a set of pearls, that he had double checked with all the girls would match her dress. Stephanie wouldn't share what was in the note but it was enough to make her cry.

"Hang on Finn, I have a present for him that you can deliver," she shouted, as she ran into one of the bedrooms to grab it.

"Just think, Kitten, in six months this will be us." Finn said, looking tenderly at Rory who was still in his arms.

"I can't wait, Finn."

"Want me to lock Colin and Steph up and we'll take their place? They've already done all the hard work," Finn joked.

"As tempting as that is, I think we should let our friends get married, then dance at their reception and if you are a good boy I will do naughty things to you in our hotel room tonight."

"You drive a hard bargain Miss Gilmore."

"Yes, I do like to put all those litigation skills to use."

"Here you go Finn," Stephanie said, handing him a box, "now get out so I can get my bridesmaid back."

"Fine, but you are just borrowing her, Miss Gilmore belongs to me."

"Excuse me?" Rory asked, with an eyebrow raise.

"You know I just mean your heart baby," Finn said hesitantly, unsure if he was actually in trouble this time.

Rory led him over to the door to kick him out of the suite.

"Finn."

"Yes, Ror?"

"You own me, heart, body and soul." she whispered against his lips, giving him what started as a tender kiss, but quickly escalated to her legs wrapped around his waist as he held her against the door.

"Finn put her down!" Rosemary shouted across the room.

"I love you, see you later baby." Finn said, as he quickly left the room before Rosemary turned violent to get him to leave.

"What took you so long man?" Logan asked as Finn reentered the boys suite.

"Stephanie opened the present, then I had to wait while she went and got the present that she had got Colin. Here you go." He said handing the gift box over to Colin.

"Did she like it?" Colin asked, while unwrapping his gift.

"Yep she loved it, what was in the note man? It made her cry."

"Just some stuff, you will see when it's your turn. This is perfect," Colin said, as he looked at the new Tiffanys watch that Stephanie had gotten him, engraved with the date.

"As if Finn will ever make it down the aisle," Logan says, taking a drink of scotch from his flask.

Colin raises his hand quickly at Finn, signalling for him to let him handle it. "Logan, you know that Rory and Finn are engaged. They have set a date and are getting married in the fall. It is a matter of when, not if. Logan, I have tolerated your attitude for the past few months, I knew your feelings were hurt, and I foolishly believed with time you would pull up your pants and act like a grown man, not a preschooler who lost his favourite toy. But if you can not behave and stop with the comments today, for the length of Stephanie and I's wedding, two of your oldest friends, then we are done. Socially and in business, you will have to search for new representation, which believe me will not be an easy feat. Your reputation precedes you that way as well. Do you think you can do that? Or do I need to promote Finn to best man?"

"Fuck Colin, man, are you serious right now?"

"Am I serious? Fuck sake Logan, you have thirty seconds to think about this before I ask you to leave."
