Over with the guys, Colin had ordered mountains of pizza and beer for the guys to eat while they were getting dressed. He was hoping this would help them avoid having to go to an actual restaurant for supper.
"Anyone feel like a girl, being forced into one room to all get ready together?" Robert asked.
"A little, but it's not exactly different from when we would pre-game back in college, is it?" Seth replied.
"How much pregaming did we really do in college, boys? We normally just went to Rich Man's Shoe before heading to the good parties." Colin threw out.
"That's because you, my dear Colin, were always above the pre-game." Finn said with an amused smirk.
"So all of you went to Yale together?" Tristan asked.
Finn looked around the group. "Huh, yeah it looks like you, Jess and Zack are the only non-Yalies here."
"Jealous Tristan?" Logan asked.
"Not at all, had I stayed at Chilton I may have ended up there, but I was good with Princeton and Harvard."
"Oh yes, I forgot about Military School. Such a character builder." Logan sneered. At this Doyle burst into laughter, at Finn's inquiring eyebrow raise he answered the unspoken question.
"Paris used to always call Logan, Tristan 2.0 but without the reforming benefit of military school. I never knew what she meant until Boston when Tristan spent most of his time at our place." The boys all laughed while Logan tried to hide his embarrassment, by changing tactics.
"Why were you at their house so much in Boston, I thought you and Rory were just friends?" Logan asked.
"Because they had the nicer place and always had the best junk food." Tristan said with a shrug. "Rory is one of the few Chilton girls I never dated, I even took Paris out once."
"Summer went to Chilton, didn't she Logan? Did she know Tristan when he went there?" an unknowing Seth asked.
"Yep I knew Summer," Tristan replied with a wink.
"Okay, are we all almost finished with the pizza? Time to get this show on the road," Colin interjected trying to head off any possible drama.
First stop for the guys was a Barcade. As they walked in Logan was the first to comment, "Really? Colin, what are we? Fifteen?"
"What? Finn and Rory went to one like this on one of the first dates and I've been dying to try one since, I thought it was a good idea." Colin replied indignantly.
"Ignore him Colin, I love it, Dibs on PAC-MAN!" Finn shouted running into the bar, with the group following closely behind, most seemed happy if not intrigued by the idea.
After a few hours playing space invaders and pac-man while eating nachos and wings, most of the group were fully relaxed and any qualms about how enjoyable an activity it would be were long gone.
"So Jess, how is the single scene in Philly treating you? I haven't seen you properly in weeks to ask," Finn queried.
"I haven't really been looking yet, I've just been seeing what comes up in the meantime."
"Like Olivia?" Tristan asked with a smirk.
"Hey! That's my little sister!" Finn exclaimed.
"Sorry mate, but really you and her were looking cosy." Tristan continued.
"She's really cool, but she moves around alot and as Finn said she is his little sister, and about to be my ex's sister in law." Jess responded.
"Really you and Finn have already both shared Rory, you would think his sister would be an easy one."
"LOGAN!" Colin interjected this time trying to stop the imminent argument.
"No, Rory and I haven't dated since senior year at high school, and I never slept with Rory, ever. Also we are kind of related now her mom married my uncle." Jess defended.
"Really you never slept together?" Logan asked, disbelief obvious in his tone.
"Mate, she told you how many times in college? You never believed her at all?" Finn asked, exasperated by the conversation that was hurting his fiancee and his sister in his eyes.
"I figured she was just trying to get me off her back." Logan shrugged.
"Okay I think it's time for our next stop," Colin said, gathering everyone up and back out into the limo's where they were whisked off to a club, similar to the girls, they soon found themselves in the VIP section with bottle service. Unlike the girls most of the guys stayed around the table as they either didn't want to dance or seemed incapable of dancing without getting hit on.
They had been at the table in their section a while when Colin noticed that Logan's phone was beeping every five minutes or so.
"Who is texting you man? Your wife is with the girls, and even Mitchum knows not to trust you with business at midnight while you're at a bachelor party."
"It's no one," Logan said, quickly putting the phone back in his pocket.
"It can't be no one," Robert said, "Everytime it beeps you look out at the dancefloor."
"Drop it, it's no one."
"Bloody hell Mate, it isn't her is it? I thought you promised Summer." Finn exclaimed.
"Finn," Logan replied, the warning obvious.
"No, don't you Finn me, I'm not going to let you use my bachelor party as an excuse to cheat on your wife, we have all been trying to include her more because you said you were trying to make it into a proper marriage."
"I have been trying, I haven't seen Sonya since I made the promise to Summer, but she saw me when we came in here."
"You haven't seen here, but have you stayed talking to her?" Colin asked.
"I'll assume your lack of answer is your answer," Robert added.
"You said you haven't seen her, you were in London last week, did you see Bobbi?" Finn asked.
Logan took a gulp of scotch and avoided eye contact with all the guys at their table.
"Another yes. Go, just go see her. You are ruining the mood here. But be warned none of us will lie or defend you to Summer if you do not come back to the hotel with us when we leave in a while. We won't be looking for you if you aren't here." Colin stated firmly, by this point they had learned that every time Finn tried to take a stand against Logan, Logan used it to belittle Rory, and Colin wouldn't allow it. Not this weekend.
"Colin! Finn! Rob-"
"Just go Logan." Seth said interjecting for the first time.
When the guys exited the club to the limos two hours later they were not surprised by the lack of Logan's presence.
Sunday morning arrived too quickly for the group. Rory awoke to find Summer, Paris, and Lane all in bed with her.
"What the hell? Where is Finn?" she whispered to herself, while reaching for her cell over Paris's head.
F: My place in bed was pretty full when I got home so I'm staying with Colin tonight because Steph ended up in Juliet's bed. Text me when you wake up baby and I'll bring hangover food.
R: I just woke up. I think. My head is a little unsure what is going on.
F: I can't believe you are more hungover than me.
R: no mocking your bride.
Rory carefully slid out of bed trying not to disturb the other girls, her whimper when she stood up straight showing how much pain she was in, she was pretty sure the night had been worth it, from what she could remember. By the time she was finished in the bathroom, she could hear Finn in the suite's living room.
"Morning Kitten."
"Not so loud!"
"Come here, take these and drink this," Finn said holding out a glass of juice and 2 advil.
"Thanks," Rory whispered, kissing his cheek.
"Did you want to go back to the park this morning? It's early we could go for an hour or two if you want, just us? I can tell by looking at you that laying by the pool would be too bright for you to deal with."
"You know what? Let's go, give me thirty mins to shower and you can buy me a mickey pretzel."
"You need help reaching your back?"
"If we didn't have company still asleep in our bed, believe me I would be all over that offer." Rory smirked as she walked to the bathroom, hearing Finn groan.
An hour later the couple were walking up Main Street, with Starbucks in their hands as they enjoyed people watching.
"So, you're telling me that I spent last night getting Summer finally accepted by all the girls and it worked, while her husband who was meant to be giving their marriage an honest try was using your bachelor party as an excuse to see his LA mistress?" Rory wasn't even trying to hide how disgusted she was.
"Unfortunately that sums it up."
"What do we do? We have to sit on a six hour flight with them both in a few hours. It feels like I am helping Logan cheat by not telling her."
"That's why I always told him to never tell me or use me as an excuse. Even back in high school he knew never to use me as a cover."
"Summer will never be my favourite person but she doesn't deserve this."
"I know, Kitten, I know." Finn said, pulling her into his embrace.
"You're helping me fake sleep for the full flight so I don't have to deal with this crap okay?" Rory said, looking up at him.
"Or I could tire you out enough that you don't have to fake it? You know you've never had to fake anything to me, Kitten," Finn said with a sultry smirk on his face.
"Yes, but I had to fake plenty for Logan, and that's who this faking would benefit." Rory was pretty sure that their friends were able to hear Finn's laughter back in the hotel.
