Chapter 5
It was incredibly obvious to everyone that George Weasley still had feelings for Cassie with the way he looked at her.
It made Cassius angry, but he couldn't act on his anger since Cassie hasn't made any move towards Weasley back. Cassius could only hope for the best.
The Monday before the First Task, Cassius was studying through every textbook for any possibility of what could be coming first.
And then Cassie's voice called out to him in the crowded hallway but he didn't hear it.
Leo had to tap his shoulder and point behind them.
"Warrington!" She waved at him.
Cassius nodded to his friends and worked his way through the crowd.
"Zwart, what is it?" He asked.
"Can we talk in private?" She asked, looking behind him.
Cassius nodded to his friends and they took only three steps away.
Cassie let out a chuckle.
"What's a fourth year going to do against a seventh year?" She asked loudly.
Several chuckles echoed around and they gave us more space.
Cassie looked around for a second.
"Follow me, I promise, it's not an ambush." She murmured to him.
"Okay?" Cassius asked as she led him towards an empty classroom.
His heart started to race again, his thoughts reacting to the possibilities rather than what was actually happening.
"Go in there." Cassie pointed into the classroom.
"Are you sure it's not an ambush?" Cassius asked, hoping she would follow after him.
"It's Potter, he has something to tell you." She gestured to the room again.
Cassius masked his disappointment, and opened the door. He only went in when he saw that it was just Potter.
"What is it?' Cassius asked.
"Dragons." Harry said.
"Come again?" Cassius asked.
"The First Task, it's dragons." Harry told him.
Cassius blinked.
"How do you know?" He asked, not wanting to believe it.
"Hagrid showed me." Harry answered.
Cassius stood there in silence, still not wanting to believe it.
"Karkoraff and Madame Maxime saw them too, so all of the Champions know. It's not just the two of us." Harry said.
Cassius nodded.
"Thank you, Potter." He said and walked out the door.
Cassius couldn't help the suspicious look he gave Cassie, but he just couldn't figure her out.
I'm going to start adding chapters together, I'm starting to realize just how short most chapters are. Sorry about that!
