Chapter 3: Second year Classes began

They all started rushing to King Cross station. The Weasleys went in first with they're youngest daughter Ginny. Frodo, Ron, and Harry were the last but something happened that they didn't expect. They fell on the wall as the barrier closed on them. "Frodo why can't we get through" asked Harry. "I dunno. It must have sealed itself" said Frodo. "Oh no the carriage leaves exactly at eleven we missed it" said Ron who looked at the clock. "Unless we take our carriage" said Ron. The three boys got on the carriage. "Ron I don't think this is such a good idea you don't know how to fly it" said Harry. "Don't worry I'm sure we'll be fine" said Ron who set the horse to move on as they flew into the sky. Frodo looked down and was amazed he flew. "Okay go down Ron we need to find the carriage" said Frodo. Ron pulled down the horse a little as they heard hooves behind them. "I can hear it getting close" said Harry. The trio looked behind them as they were scared as the carriage was behind them. "Pull up" said Frodo. Ron pulled up and they noticed the castle of Hogwarts was close. "Welcome back mates" said Ron. Ron began to pull down closely to the ground as they were accidentally grabbed by a large tree known as the whoomping willow. The tree spinner them around for a while. Harry began to slip of the carriage. "Harry" said Ron who tried to reach him. "Your hands are sweaty" said Harry. Ron and Frodo pulled him up. Ron wrestled with the branches as it grabbed his wand and broke it from the tip. "It broke my wand" said Ron. The tree threw the carriage onto the ground as them suddenly the carriage threw the three boys and they're school trunks out and they watched it leave. The three boys got up as they noticed it was night and ran to the castles entrance. "So this house elf shows up in our Bedroom. King Cross station won't let us through we almost were murdered by a tree. Someone doesn't want us here" said Frodo. The three boys froze as they noticed Mr. Filch was behind them. "You might as well not unpack your stuff mates because this might be the last night you spend here. Oh dear they are in big trouble" said Mr. Filch. The three boys were summoned to see Professor Snape. "You illegally flew on a carriage without adult supervision. Do you realize the kind of damage you three have done. You could have been killed. And not to mention you landed on the whoomping willow tree that has been on this grounds before all of you" said Snape furiously. "Professor Snape it could have hurt us" said Ron. "Keep silent. If the three of you kids were in my house I'd send you back on the carriage home tonight as is" said Snape. "But they are not in your house" said Dumbledore who came in accompanied by McGonagoll and Gandalf. "Professor Dumbledore, Professor McGonagoll, Gandalf" said Harry. "It is Head Of Gryffindor House to assign the appropriate accommodation" said Dumbledore. "Headmaster these boys have violated the laws of underage wizardry" said Snape. "We are well aware of them Snape thank you" said Gandalf. "I will be writing to your families tonight and you will all have detention" said McGonagoll. "We'll go get our stuff then" said Frodo. "My dear boy you are not expelled but I hope you realize what you have done. I expect a great deal from you Master hobbit" said McGonagoll. All the students where at the great hall having dinner. And so they started classes the next day as they saw a small chubby teacher come in to teach. "Good morning class. Welcome to Greenhouse Three Second years. Now today for your first lesson we will be reporting mandrakes. Now who can tell me what the properties of a mandrake are?" asked Professor Sprout. Frodo raised his hand. "It's also known as Mandragora is used to return those who've been petrified back to their original form. They cry's are also known to be dangerous. Anyone can be affected by it" said Frodo. "Well done Mr. Baggins ten points for Gryffindor" said Professor Sprout. She began to hand the students they're ear muffins to put them on. "Since they are just growing they're cries may not kill you just yet but they will leave you knocked out for quite a while which is why I given you all this ear muffins for protection. So put them on. Now you pull it from its roots like this" said Professor Sprout who pulled out the mandarte from the top. It began to sequel so loudly that Neville fainted. "Ma'am I think Neville just fainted" said Sam. "Oh well then leave him there. He'll be fine. Alright class let's get to it" said Professor Sprout. Lunch time came which was everyone's favorite time as Nearly Headless Nick showed himself from the table. "Hello St. Nicholas" said Pippin. "Hello Master Took" said Headless Nick as he swung by them. Ron was very nervous during lunch. A blonde boy who was in his first year stood in front of Frodo and Harry. "Hi Frodo, Hi Harry. I'm Colin Creever. I'm in Gryffindor to" said Colin. "Hello Colin pleasure to meet you" said Harry. "Mail time" said Merry. "Ron isn't that your owl" said Colin as Ron's owl flew in. It left Ron a letter in his plate. "Oh no" said Ron. "Look everybody Weasley just recieved a howler" said Seamus. "I got one from my Grandmother once it was scary" said Neville. Ron opened it nervously. "Ronald Weasley. How dare you take our carriage it was very disturbing from your part. Your father is getting accused for it at work and it's all your fault. Congratulations on making Gryffindor Dear I'm so proud of you" said Mrs. Weasley howler as it turned to Ginny and finally ripped.
