Peter Parker's POV:

I sat silently on the side of my bed, staring down at the floor. My mind was focused on going back home. I looked up at the door, and suddenly an idea popped into my head. Black definitely knows where I am, and how I can get back to New York. I just need to pry the information out of him. I can't force him to talk though. I'll take things nice and slow. I heard familiar footsteps coming towards my room, and I could automatically tell it was Black. He swung open the door and stared into my eyes.

"Benjamin, come outside with me." Black said calmly. I immediately obeyed; it was better to stay on his good side if I was going to escape this place. He took me out to that same table we sat at yesterday. I sat down where he wanted me to. He pushed one of the cups towards me. I wasn't sure what he would've done to me if I didn't so I did. I picked up the cup and took a sip. It's bitter, I guess that's how he likes it. Just like last time, it was just silence. I felt extremely awkward because I was drinking bitter tea with someone who was evil.

"Um…. sir?"

"What is it?"

I cracked a very awkward smile, "the tea, it's good." Black looked up at me. "Benjamin, tell me something."

"Yes?" I asked.

"When we first met you seemed to bear no grudge against me, in fact you had no idea who I was. Why is that?" Good question. He put down his cup and folded his hands. "Could it be that you are from another timeline, or perhaps another universe?"

"Wait! What do you mean by 'another universe'?"

"Ah, I forgot; you humans are incredibly ignorant." He spoke. "There is more than one universe."

"You mean the 'multiverse'?"

Black nodded his head.

'The multiverse.' I swear I've heard about that before...wait a minute!

"That spell travels the dark borders between known and unknown reality throughout the multiverse. If it goes wrong, Peter here could be lost in time. It's too dangerous!"

Lost in time...the Runes Kof-Kol! It brought me here!

"I-I-I-I... I thought it was just a theory. I mean the multiverse actually existing is insane! How many are there? Do they all expand? Are they all the same? Will any of them last forever?"

"Quiet boy!"

"Sorry Mr. Black!" I spoke frantically.

"You really love to talk, don't you?"

"I... can't really help it, sir?"

Black got up from his seat and walked towards the balcony. "That is about to change, Benjamin Watson; because from now on you will follow my rules." He turns towards me. "Do not try to escape, I will find you and drag you right back here. Do not ramble or stutter, it bothers me. When I give you an order, you WILL follow it, no matter what. When I say an area is off limits, it's off limits. Do not call for help, no one will come for you, and if they do, I will kill them. You will also be doing chores around the house, I figured you'll be more useful working than just sitting around waiting for me to come back."

Oh, so I'm a slave now, great.

"Uhm, Mr. Black..."

"What will happen if I break any of these rules?" I asked. Black walked over to me, with that same psychotic smirk he leaned into my ear. "I will make you wish you were never born." He whispered. It was... intimidating to say the least. I'll be honest if I was just a normal kid, I would've shat myself; but I made sure to appear calm so that he doesn't know that I WASN'T calm. "Well, how are you going to 'make me wish I was never born', if I make it back to where I'm from?" Black chuckled, "I have my ways, Benjamin Watson."

Meanwhile, at the Sanctum Sanctorum…

Dr. Strange's POV:

Damn it! Nothing! I slammed the book shut. Every single spell book I've checked said nothing about where Peter could've gone or even if he would SURVIVE something like that! I turn to Wong at the shelf across from me. "Did you find anything useful?" He shut the book he was reading as well. "No, I didn't."

"Strange…"

"I don't want to hear it!" I shouted. "That portal took Peter somewhere, and we don't know where! NONE of these damn spell books are helping! Do you HONESTLY believe that NOW is the best time to scold me like a DAMN KID?!" Wong walked over to me and placed his hand over my shoulder as if he was offering his condolences to me. "…we will get Peter back, I promise... That's what I was going to say."

"I hope we do…" Then, we heard a knock on the front door, we headed to the entrance, and I opened the door. There stood two teenagers, both looked like they were around 18 or 19. "Are you Dr. Strange?" the boy asked.

"Yes, I am. Who are you?"

"I'm Ned Leeds, and this is Michelle Jones. Our friend Peter is missing. We were hoping you could help us find him."

"You're talking about Peter Parker, right?" I asked, "Listen, we know what Mysterio said; but it isn't true, okay? Spider-Man isn't a murderer. We both know him personally and-"

I cut Michelle off. "I know that already, there's no way someone like Peter could intentionally kill so many innocent people."

"Wong and I were actually looking for a way to find him, since the circumstances behind Peter's disappearance are a lot more complicated than the two of you think, come on in." Michelle and Ned looked at each other, and then smiled. The two of them walked in. I turned to them, "Okay, so I'm sure you two have a lot of questions. So, ask away." Michelle was the first to speak, "Do you know HOW he went missing?" I told the two kids about Peter's request, the spell going wrong, and Peter falling into a portal. "So, you're telling me that Peter fell through a portal that maybe took him to another dimension, but you're not sure?"

"Pretty much, yes."

"Did you try casting the spell again?" Ned asked.

Wait a minute! This kid just gave me an idea.

"That's it."

"What? What's 'it'? What did I say?" Ned asked. I looked over at Wong, "I know how to get to him." Wong looked into my eyes with suspicion, "How?" He asked. I turned around and motioned for everyone to follow me. We enter the same room where Peter was taken. "So, here's the plan; I will cast and botch the spell again, a portal should open and take me to wherever Peter is."

"No! No! No! NO! You are NOT casting that spell again!" Wong shouted. I turned to Wong, "Look, I know it sounds bad, but this is the only way we can get to him."

"No! Last time you botched it, Peter fell through a portal; and now, you want to screw it up AGAIN?! ON PURPOSE?!"

"Well, what other choice do we have?" I asked. He paused, then spoke again. "Even if it does work, how will you get back?"

"I'll find a way, I always do." I spoke. Wong looked at me with disapproval, and then caved. "Alright fine, but if the plan goes wrong, you will take responsibility for it."

I smirked, "I always do."
