As soon as she was back on the surface, C.G. ran to the Time Flyer in order to contact her father.

"You found gems that can keep the future creatures away?" asked her father.

"That's right, I'm sending you our findings right now," said C.G. while pressing some buttons on the ship's control panel.

"Something doesn't feel right here," whispered Ethan to Luis as the two stood toward the back of the ship.

"I know, so stay on guard," said Luis. Emily was sitting in her seat holding Squibbon who was shaking out of fear.

"I've received the data, and it does look like that area is the best one," said C.G.'s father. He then typed something into a terminal on his side.

"Portal opening," said the computer as panels opened on the outside haul of the ship, exposing what looked like small little satellite dishes which each shot a beam from them and collided at the front of the ship.

"Father, what is happening?" asked C.G.

"We can talk once we meet face to face," said her father before the feed was cut out. The next thing that the crew knew, a portal opened before the ship which went dead afterwards.

"Come on, let's see what's going on," said Luis while forcing the door open. As the four left the ship, what looked like soldiers began to march through the portal with all kinds of boxes being carried in at the same time.

"Father!" said C.G. as he was the last to come through before the portal closed.

"You have done well in finding this spot, C.G.," said her father while walking up to her and her friends.

"Just what is going on here?" asked Emily as she noticed some of the soldiers setting up a camp with mining equipment while others stood guard with guns at the ready.

"If humanity is going to take over the future, then we need a strong foothold," said her father with an evil grin.
