Chapter 3: Aviation Know-How.

As I went back to the site, I saw Marshall placing Skye on a stretcher and taking him away in his ambulance. A stream of worry entered my mind, but diverted it as I was going to focus on my job.

Rubble was using his crane to lift Skye's jet up while Rocky was building something to tow the jet in. I was guiding Rubble in lifting the jet towards a giant wagon-like trailer that Rocky managed to build. After much effort, we managed to secure it onto the trailer.

I rode on the trailer (don't ask why or how) towards the PAW Patrol's Mission Headquarters. We towed the jet to the repair room and me and Rocky were inspecting the plane.

"Hmm..." Rocky said. "Paul, just to test you, exactly what kinds of repairs do we need for Skye's jet?" I grinned from ear to ear.

"Okay, so..." I began.

"The carbon fiber panels on the outside of the fuselage underside needs replacement, the landing gear and the actuators need replacing as well including the actuators for the doors. The hydraulics for some components including the ones for the wing needs repairing and replacing. The right lift fan on the wing needs major repairs, while the left lift fan needs to be replaced entirely. And also, the turbojet engine on the lower section at the back needs replacing. That's all!"

Rocky, Rubble and Zuma, who was also there, gave me a flabbergasted stare with their jaws dropped down. I raised an eyebrow.

"Wow, I didn't know you knew that much about aircraft!" Rocky finally said.

"Well, it's kind of a talent I was born with!" I admitted.

"Wait, Rocky?!" Zuma spoke up.

"What is it Zuma?" Rocky asked. Zuma then goes to Rocky and whispers something in his ear.

"Oh, I see! Great plan Zuma!" Rocky said.

He then turned to me and said, "Um Paul. Would it be okay for you to go check on Skye at the hospital for us?" I looked at Rocky, confused.

"Um...okay! But, what am I supposed to ride to the hospital?" Then I thought for a while and my face lit up. "I know!" Then I pulled out a small rod and pressed a button on it.

Some of it's components extended, and when the last one did, it revealed to be a portable, but motorized scooter.

"Gotta go, bye!" I cried out as I donned my helmet and revved out towards the entrance.

(And yes, if you're wondering, this was inspired by Penny's scooter in the movie Bolt. I just liked how the scooter unfolded in the movie!)
