Qibli gasped when he saw the dragon.

She seemed to be limping, and her wings, legs, and tail were covered in small cuts. Some of them glittered, probably broken glass. Dried blood-stained bandages were wound around her neck. A gash covered half of her forehead, still dripping purple-ish blood. Wrapped around her torso was a dark green, mud-stained, torn piece of fabric that closely resembled something scavengers would wear. A chunk of twisted metal was lodged in her side.

Under all the blood and injuries, she appeared to be a SandWing-IceWing hybrid, judging from her tan-and-white scales.

Despite looking like crap, there was suspicion in her purple eyes. Qibli rushed over to her. When she noticed the sand dragon, approached her, she tensed up and glared at him with mistrust. Noticing this, Qibli stopped.

He spoke first. "Are you alright? Do you need help finding a healer?"

Still eyeballing him, she responded. "Who are you?" She talked with a strange accent Qibli couldn't place.

Trying to be as non-threateningly as possible, Qibli kept an even tone. "My name is Qibli, welcome to Sanctuary."

She seemed to relax. It was obvious that she was tired and in pain. "Yes, I would like help. I probably look like I was stuck in a blender."

Qibli wondered what a blender was.

"Would you like assistance getting there? I would be ha-"

"No, I'm fine!" She staggered forward past Qibli. "I handle walking alli-a little..." she stopped, blinked a couple times, and shook her head. "A Little bit long..." She had trailed off. Qibli watched her limp away. He didn't even tell her where the healer was.

Winter stepped up to him, also looking at the injured dragon. He had a bewildered expression. "Do you think she will be okay?" Qibli asked him, giving his friend a worried expression.

Winter turned to him. "Unlikely." He looked back at her. "What happened to her? An explosion?" He said.

"Could it have been Vulture? Seems the most likely."

"I hope it wasn't Vulture."

"Anyway, she seems like a hybrid. IceWing-Sanding?"

"Did you see her tail? I think it's venomous."

Qibli squinted. Yes indeed. This dragon's tail seemed to have a greenish tint. He moved his own tail and inspected the barb. It was a pale yellow and resembled a scorpion's. The tan-and-white dragon's tail had over a dozen sharp-looking spikes on it.

An intentional hit with it would be, in theory, very bad.

"Try not to get on her bad side" He advised Winter.

There will not be any updates to this book soon. I am not happy with the current state of this story, and am working on a rewrite. I feel like I switched plots halfway through, and there are also massive plot holes. The writing quality is shitty.

This was also my first fanfic, and I have gotten some experience since then.
