Epilogue
Hermione recovered in time for the end of term feast, Harry and Ron told her everything she missed and Gryffindor won the house cup. Hermione made sure to wake up extra early the next morning to make sure she packed everything before boarding the train home and of course to say goodbye to Argus.
Hermione went to his office hoping to catch him, fortunately he was there doing some end of term paperwork and he had his office door open. "Argus can I come in?" Filch stopped working and looked up. "Hermione come in is something wrong." He questioned noticing the sad look on Hermione's face. "No I just wanted to say goodbye." She now sounded like she was about to cry. Filch got up and walked over to the doorway where she was standing and knelt down.
"Hermione don't cry, the summer holiday will go quicker than you think and you'll be so busy you'll probably forget about me." Hermione shook head, now fully crying and hugged him tightly. He returned the embrace "I'm not going to forget you Argus your my friend." "Hey, at least I have something to look forward to next year." He said trying to cheer her up. They hugged for a few more minutes. "You better get going, train will be coming soon." They reluctantly broke the embrace. "I'll see you next year Hermione." She nodded. Kissed him on the cheek and left for the Hogwarts Express, already looking forward to next year.
Author's Note
Well that's it guys, hope you enjoyed this story. Let me know what you thought of it. Do you want me to make this a series? I'll do it if that's something you guys would be interested in and if I do should I keep Filch's and Hermione's relationship the same or change it throughout the series? Please give me your feedback in a review and as always thank you all so much for your support.
