-Day 17: A date for Gerald? -

"Enjoying breakfast little brother?" Gerald questioned as Cedric pulled out a chair for him. "Is grandfather having his breakfast elsewhere? Is it the food or the people at the table he doesn't like?"

Both Takumi and Misaki remained quiet completely ignoring Gerald's joke.

"Misaki you look lovely this morning," Gerald said in hopes of changing the mood he personally caused. "Stop glaring Takumi, I'm not planning on stealing your wife."

"Thank you," Misaki replied believing that Gerald truly meant no harm. She truly believed Gerald was trying to build a relationship with Takumi. Of course, Takumi wouldn't just suddenly welcome Gerald with open arms and it would take some time for them to be able to become real brothers on the inside.

Time could only tell and heal old wounds.

"So," Gerald clapped loudly. "What are you two love birds doing today?"

"Working," Takumi briefly answered.

"Working again? No time to each other-"

"Did you forget you tried to have us do interviews after our wedding," Takumi reminded his dear brother.

'Right,' Gerald thought.

A maid approached the table and bowed. "Mister Gerald you have a guest."

Gerald stood up straigthening out his clothes. "Well have a good day you two."

Misaki's eyes followed Gerald until he left and then turned to her husband. "Takumi," She said to gain his attention. "What do you think about setting up a date for your brother?"

He thought about it. "Why?"

"I think it would be good for him to have someone to spend time with and it would keep him away from us. I think I have the perfect person," Misaki said smiling evilly.

Takumi sipped his tea amused by what his lovely wife was planning.

9 hours later…

'"Gerald," Misaki said knocking on his office door with a special guest by her side. "Do you have a minute?"

"Misaki!" She heard him call on the side. "What do I owe for this visit?" Gerald questioned after he opened the door. His eyes shifted from Misaki to the brunette next to her.

"Gerald this is Amy, Amy this is Gerald. Amy is visiting England in hopes of branching out her law firm. You know more about England than me so go out and enjoy the evening," Misaki stated tugging Gerald out the office.

"Wait," He answered in shock. Was she setting him up on a date? Gerald glanced at the beautiful woman she introduced as Amy. He had no thoughts of dating right now.

"It was Takumi's idea," Misaki lied knowing that might persuade him. He was trying to get on Takumi's good side after all.

After a short pause, Gerald agreed.

Misaki clapped her hands happy that her plan was coming together. "See you two later."

"This way," Gerald reluctantly lead Amy who had not spoken one word.

When the two had disappeared, Takumi popped up next to his wife. "Excited about sending Gerald away from us."

"I wish for him to find the same happiness you did," She admitted.

Takumi held Misaki's hand bringing it up to his lips to give it a small peck. "He will."

Meanwhile…..

"We should start off by showing you the Ranchester Castle," Gerald told Amy who just nodded in reply. He took her to the gardens away from prying eyes then asked, "What do you want?"

"Excuse me? I don't understand," Amy finally spoke.

"What do you want? I have no interest in playing blind dates so what can I offer to make you tell Misaki you enjoyed yourself but you rather not continue?" He explained further.

Amy scoffed after hearing his words. "If you don't want to show me around just say so. Why do you have to buy a way out?"

"It's much more easier.," He simply replied.

"Wow. When Misaki said she had the perfect tour guide this isn't what I was expecting. You can simply use your words to express something and not money."

"You're a lawyer. Using money as a way out is something you're used to."

Amy couldn't control her anger. "You know what your problem is, you can't express what you want to say without using money because you're a coward. Money won't solve your problems, rich boy."

Gerald's eyes darkened. "You know nothing about me. None of you do. Your little tour ends here."

"Thanks," Amy said turning on her heels to walk away.

Gerald glared at her retreating figure. He hoped to never meet her again.

EXTRA

"Well it looks like your planned failed before it truly started," Takumi told Misaki as they stood on the balcony watching Gerald and Amy.

"It wouldn't be good if she doesn't tell him what she feels about his actions. He's had everyone say anything to make him happy his whole life. Amy never holds back what she wants to say which is why I admire her," Misaki replied.

"It'll work out somehow," Takumi said looking down at his older brother in the garden. What was going on in that mind of his brother?

With Gerald's relationship, I don't know why but I just imagined him pissing the person off at first.
