-Day 35: Annoyed-

"Thank you for your time today Gerald Walker."

"No problem. It was enlightening to see all the new business ideas you had planned for the future. I can't wait to see how they turn out," Gerald said shaking the hand of a long time family partner. "I will look over the paperwork you'll be sending so we can start as soon as possible."

"Thank you, Mr. Walker. We've all been working hard to ensure we didn't let your family down. I want to help continue the legacy your grandfather started. Oh my is that miss Amy?" Mr. Jones asked seeing the young lady in the distance. "We've been getting some entrepreneurs from Japan setting up a business here recently. Have you met her?"

Gerald shifted ever so slightly to take a look at the woman hoping it wasn't who he thought it was. When he realized it was exactly who thought it was he returned to his previous position feeling slightly annoyed.

Why was she here?

"Miss Amy," Mr. Jones called her over wanting to introduce her to Gerald not knowing they have already met.

Hearing her name being called Amy looked around to see Mr. Jones, a strange-looking butler who was blending into the background and Gerald Walker. She considered walking away but they knew she heard her name being called so she was unable to go. Amy had no choice and proceeded the walk over to them.

"It is nice to see you again Mr. Jones," She said with a bright smile on her face and bowed. She then turned to Gerald almost glaring at him."Gerald."

"Amy," He replied refusing to look her way.

"Have you two met?" Mr. Jones questioned as he felt like there was tension between the two. Were they secret lovers? Should he leave them alone so they could have privacy?

"Yes, my sister-in-law introduced us," Gerald answered.

"Ah, I see. Well," Mr. Jones cleared his throat wanting to escape the weird position he was in. "I think I will go to my office to finish up some work. Goodbye Gerald and Amy."

"Goodbye," Amy said biding the man farewell while Gerald simply nodded.

"I didn't think you would be a stalker," Gerald said when the man was gone.

Amy glared at him not caring how influential he was. "Yes because I have nothing better to do with my time."

"Seems like it," He responded.

Amy rolled her eyes at his response. "Not everyone wants to chase after Gerald Walker."

"And yet here you are," He responded with a hint of humor in his voice.

Amy bit her bottom lip wanting to hold back the words that were running through her mind. This man annoyed her to no end. "I came here for business."

"Who are your sources? I'm sure someone told you I would be here," He continued with his conclusion she was following him around. Was this what Misaki felt with his brother?

"I don't care for you, Gerald. I just care about my business. Misaki owes me big time for introducing me to you. I would've rather her make me walk on fire," Amy said thinking of how rude he was when they first met.

"You're one to talk. I should be upset she tried to set me up with you."

Amy was taken aback by his words. "Who do you think you are?"

Gerald rested his hands in his pants pockets and causally answered, "Gerald Walker. Part of the Ranchester and Walker family which is quite influential in Japan and England."

"Take away all of that and what are you? You're rude and a waste of my time," Amy angrily told him causing Gerald to grab her wrist. "Let me go!" She said trying to get her hand out of his grasps.

"I don't tolerate disrespect-"

He stopped when Amy had slapped him. Cedric made a move to intervene but he was stopped by Gerald.

"And I don't tolerate getting accused of being a gold digger. Misaki must've been out of her mind," She lashed out using all her strength to pull her wrist out of his hand. "How on earth did you jump to the stupid conclusion that I wanted your money when Misaki introduced us? I won't allow you to judge me as you please."

She rubbed her aching wrist silently waiting for an apology that never came. "Of course," She muttered watching as he just stared at her with anger. Amy concluded it was because no one has ever hit him before.

The best thing she could do for herself was walk away from the man before her and that was what she did.

Meanwhile, Gerald stood rooted in his spot watching her retreating figure.

Who did this woman think she was?

How did Misaki think they were a match?

A/N: Sorry I forgot to post this Saturday. I keep forgetting about the updates for that day. Hopefully, there will be 3 more chapters posted this week. It's going to be fun building a romance for Gerald.

To all those who asked for fights, drama, jealousy, etc. Remember when that moment comes, you asked for it. ;) Let's count down to it...
