ONE: What The Hell is That?

Chisaki scoffs as he leaves the old abandoned building. He had just finished the meeting with the league of villains, an infamous group of villains with the goal to kill the number one hero; well whoever his successor now was. The air; even through his mask, was filthy. Hives had developed when that low-life thug touched him, but thankfully they had mostly disbursed as he walked out of the doors.

After counting his minions he grumbled muffled curses under his breath. "Where's the other one," He demanded, facing the others standing behind him, "I don't want him spilling information."

"Right here, Boss," A man's voice called before he grunted. The sound of the disturbed gravel followed soon after. What the hell was he doing?

"Oh, jeezus Christ," One of Chisaki's minions mumbled from behind Chisaki as the man came out into the open, dragging a teenage girl behind him.

"What the hell is that?" Chisaki spits, the hives making themselves known once again as his underling throws the unconscious girl at his feet.

"The burnt one was guarding her 'round back, thought she might be important or somethin'," He huffed, looking down at the frail girl on the ground.

She had dull black hair, which was chopped messily, as though she had done it herself. Dirt coated every inch of her skin, as a weird green-like color stained the clothes she had on. Though rags were a better word for it since they only covered her breasts and waist.

"She doesn't look like anything of great importance to them," Chisaki commented, his nose curling in disgust. "Throw her in with Eri."

"B-But boss-" Chisaki was no longer focusing on his words, but rather how his mask had slipped down below his nose.

If his underling had been foolish enough to let his mask slip; who knows what else he was foolish enough to do?

Clipping his finger over the edge of his glove Chisaki pressed for more answers. "Was she unconscious when you found her?"

"No, Sir,"

"Did you hit her?"

"Yes, Sir. I had to! She wouldn't shut up!" Chisaki could feel the familiar disgusted feeling start to bubble in his chest; a sick feeling coiling in his chest and wrapping down to his stomach.

"So she saw you?"

The underling gulps, his hands ringing together as he thinks over his words. "Y-Yes."

Chisaki rips off his glove, shooting over to touch the underling's chest, who only had enough time to grasp what was happening before his body exploded. Chisaki's quirk works quickly and efficiently as he forces his organs to burst. Instantly killing him.

Blood spattered onto Chisaki's cheek and he grimaced in discomfort. Of course, it had splattered, why wouldn't it have?

"Put her in with Eri," Chisaki demanded once more, towards his other underling, who was standing there with a stoic expression on his face.

"Yes, Boss."

Chisaki felt disgusting. His coat and hands were scattered with blood, smears from places he had tried to wipe it off were evident on his face. Muttering curses under his breath he drags his fingers through the tangled knots called his hair.

Walking through the corridors, he spots one of his underlings watching through the window that held the lab rat. Well...lab rats now, "Boss," He says without looking away from the sleeping forms. They must have at one point knocked the screaming girl out, or she passed out from exhaustion. Neither would be all that surprising.

"Has the lab rat seen her yet?" Chisaki questions, looking at the sleeping girl on the cot a few feet away from the little girl. The underling just shakes his head, looking at his boss.

"She was asleep when the new girl arrived, we saw no point in waking her," He replied and Chisaki hummed, his gaze locked on the sleeping girl. Now that she was lying down, her skin clean, he could observe her. "We showered her, and changed her clothes."

Chisaki could notice that much. Her skin no longer held all of the dirt smears, and although tight, she had clothes on that covered more than bare necessities.

Chisaki could see her hollowed-out cheeks, her chest rise, and fall slowly as her ribs stuck out, the shirt giving way that she probably hadn't eaten in a while.

"After she wakes feed her before questioning." She had what looked to be black hair, she was overall a pale person, as though she hadn't seen the sun in years.

"How old do you think she is," Chisaki muttered, more of an afterthought, not really caring about the answer. If she was as old as she looks then it's most likely that she could control her quirk, they would have to experiment with that later.

"From her height and weight, I'd say about fourteen." Chisaki sucked in a breath as all of his plans went down the drain in one word.

Fourteen...fourteen...fourteen. The word echoes around his skull, a wave of sudden rage rising inside of him as he scoffs, turning away from the window towards his room. Once reaching his room he rips off his clothes going to the bathroom connected to his room as he stomps towards it turning on the water.

Pausing for a few moments he sighed, walking back into his room as he put the clothes in the dirty clothes hamper before walking back into the bathroom, slipping into the shower as he let the cold water run down his bareback.

He could feel the hives vanish the longer he stayed in the shower scrubbing, and he was bound and determined to get all of the filthy human things off of him.

Though he couldn't help the thoughts that kept slipping into his head. Mostly about the porcelain-skinned girl lying unconscious in the room with Eri.

Why had she been with the League of Villains? Was she of importance to their plan? Was she bait? How long had she been there?

Chisaki didn't know any of the answers, and it annoyed him to no end.

Shigaraki Tomura slammed his fists across the desk, growling under his breath as Dabi stood in front of him, his hands shoved in his pockets.

"What do you mean you let her go!?" Shigaraki yelled.

Toga stood in the corner of the room with a worried look on her face. She had reached out a few times to try and reach for the male in front of her—Dabi for she knew he wouldn't swing around and turn her to ash—but had thought otherwise once she saw the muscles in his tighten in frustration.

"Yes," Dabi sighed, "Fucking aye, she wasn't doing us any good here, Shiggy, plus, weird bird guy may use her as bait, we'd still have her either way," Dabi said calmly back, ignoring the growing frustration in his chest.

"So!?" Shigaraki yelled back. Dabi just rolled his eyes, turning from the Leagues leader and slamming the door behind him.

"Tomo?" Toga whispers softly to the heaving man-child in front of her.

"Leave, Toga," Shigaraki hisses through his teeth, his hands gripping onto the desk. Toga let out a silent 'thank you' towards the creators of the gloves Shigaraki was currently wearing, which only concealed two out of five of his fingers.

"Are you sure?"

"Positive," Toga nodded hesitantly but nonetheless left the room.

Shigaraki could work with this. Worse things had happened before, and he had made it out just fine.

He would get Esther back. If it was the last thing he did, he would let her see the light of day again.

Shigaraki knew the timer had begun, counting down the days he had to save the teenage girl. Overhaul was at the end of this number. Shigaraki refused to let the number get to zero.

Esther would be his once more.
