Chapter 1

Varys

It has been a while for me to comprehend what I believe once you die, that's the end.

He saw something in a person other than himself.

Agrippina Stark.

Or shall he say Wu Zetian?

She told him her story, or rather her former life stories.

She once ruled a great nation called China.

Ambitions, education, and staying alive to keep herself safe. In other words, she wished to remain empowered with her husband's help.

The King's daughter is truly something I hadn't thought about when he brought her to his care and safety from enemies around her.

He saw something in her when she presented ideas of reducing taxes on the road and building stone paths for everyone.

So, Varys groomed her and educated the young girl for the past six years with endless studies and things she desired to gain power.

In return, she will allow Varys to get his rewards as he can make any enemies of Targaryen's disappear.

In other words, she sees nothing. She hears nothing.

Varys is pleased and proud to have her at his side. He wouldn't dream of betraying her. Since the last time someone did betray her, they all lost their heads with a snap of her fingers.

With her at his side, they can help the common people improve their lives and keep the realm at peace.

But he must be cautious.

Or else one wrong move can put our heads on the spike.

Brandon Stark

Brandon took some of his loyal banners to Kingslanding, where he could swear before the King.

Hopefully, he can see his sister there.

He missed her.

It was unbearable for him. She was different when she was growing up. No longer laughter, dreams, or ideas from her. It was like the world had broken her.

But now, she rises harder and fiercer.

She is no flower.

She is a fuckin' She-Wolf.

Brandon came to a stop when the page bowed respectfully to him.

"My lord, on behalf of the entire court and the royal family. They send their condolences to your father, Lord Rickard Stark."

Brandon grunted and nodded.

He dressed appropriately since his sister had written him about what to wear. Even her red silk sash that he is in her favor wrapped around his arm to show.

He enters the halls where the big door will open and lead him to the Iron Throne. The door opened as he walked across the room itself. He noticed many southern houses came to witness a new lord of Winterfell and Warden of the North pledge his vows to the King.

King Aerys didn't look awful, as many said. His nails are tripped clean, and his beard and hair are cut shorter. It seems he is slowly being taken care of.

If rumors were correct, King Aerys allows only her ladyship, The King's daughter, to take care of him. On the side, it seems Queen Rhaella and her bunch of children, and Prince Rhaegar is at his mother's side along with his much younger siblings, Baelor, twin girls Jaehaera with Rhaenys and Viserys.

He heard that the Queen faced difficulties giving birth, but thanks to the King's daughter, all three more princes and a princess are born and alive.

On the King's side is The King's Daughter. She is wearing a beautiful purple dress, with furring side edges and jewels pierced. She wears a veil like a bride keeping her face hidden from everyone's eyes.

Brandon came forward toward the Targaryen family.

"Your majesties," He spoke.

King Aerys smirked. No doubt wished to boast that he brought the Starks to kneel as their ancestors had done during the conquest of Aegon.

Brandon remained calm. He is doing this for his sister.

"Heh," Aerys smirked. "So have you come and swore a vow to me?" Aerys looked at the woman's position in the veil next to him.

"Well? Let's get on this!" He ordered Brandon to swear his vows.

"Your Grace, I Brandon Stark here swear my fealty to His Grace Aerys Targaryen, First of his name, Protector of the Realm, Lord of Andals, First men and the Rhoynars. I pledge my undying loyalty to you and your descendants till my last breath." Brandon kneels before the King.

"I accept your allegiance. I formally appoint you as Brandon Stark, Lord of Winterfell, Lord of the Northern Realms, and Warden of North."

The crowd gasped in shock that Aerys declared the North to Northern Realms. They are curious why he showed favors to the Northmen?

Many of them think it is undoubtedly the King's Daughter's ideas again. She has enemies at court but also friends in high places.

They can't touch her. Even if she is still in the King's favor, she is a woman of her power and can stand on her feet by herself.

She does not need a man to protect her.

"Now!" King clapped his hands twice loud enough to echo in their halls. "We feasts!"

The courtiers cheered.

As music was sounded out from flutes, they performed drums and tambourine as dancers from Free Cities followed the rhythm of the music. The dancers are exotic, and flower petals are thrown in the air.

Brandon stood by as he watched the King's daughter, who he knew was his sister. King is whispering something into her ear and muttering something, and her head moves to agree with him as he laughs.

The Tully family is there.

Gods, why did his father want him to marry the Tully girl?

Oh right, because of that treacherous rat, Walys idea. Brandon wonders if it is still open or not.

King Aerys raised his hand to signal the music to stop, and everyone did as they waited in their breath.

"My people! To this joyous day, we welcome back the seven kingdoms tenfold again." The courtier's applause for the King's words. "However, we do not mean it has the same meaning as family members and loved ones who were lost for a time."

The crowd muttered in confusion. They looked back and forth to understand his words but not unravel.

King Aerys stood and gestured for the veiled women to come forward with him.

"Lord Stark, come forward and greet, my lady, the King's daughter."

Brandon came forward. He tries his best not to so his nervous look. His hand inside the gloves is sweating inside.

King Aerys brought her to him and unveiled her face. A very mature and beautiful woman in all the realm. Her black hair, pale skin, high cheekbone, and what attracted many people were her silver eyes.

"Greet your lost sister with a kiss and be content that Agrippina from House of Stark is now whole again!"

Brandon kissed his sister on her cheeks and lifted her off her feet to spin around her.

"I missed you, my half." He roughly said he hugged her tight and would never let her go again.

"And I you, brother."

King Aerys Court

Everyone was surprised and shocked that she was still alive.

A woman of power. A woman who would cunningly prosper her realm in an instance. She even earns her title as the King's Daughter and has her hidden away to deal with traitors and conspirators of threat to the royal household. The royal guard dog of the Targaryen. She threw people who distressed the King into the darkness and never let them out to see daylight again.

The Wicked Wolf is her earned moniker to make enemies and allies tippytoed around her sharp fangs.

House of Tyrell looked shocked, but Lady Olenna looked more amused by this. Finally, a woman of power to control the court and play the game better than anyone. That she can respect. When news that Hightower had committed a crime against House of Starks. The Tyrell quickly blamed the Hightowers and left them to the mercy of giving them those gold and ships of Reaches best for Northmen. Yes, a beautiful she-wolf, but she sees in her soul that a chained beast is waiting to come out of its bondage chains to ripe a man's throat and bleed by her hand. Olenna nodded and decided that the Tyrells needed the connection to House Stark. Perhaps marriage would do well for her youngest, Mina Tyrell.

House of Lannister was shocked most of all. Tywin Lannister lost in a gamble. He knew he should have pressured Jaime to marry her quickly; now, they had lost their only connection to the North to keep the legacy alive. Tywin now knew she challenged him as she had the King's full attention and ears to whisper, overruling his advice. Tywin must find someone from his family and banner to marry her now. Or he could always marry her since he needs a new heir to replace Jaime and Tyrion. Cersei is seething with jealously. No doubt, that bitch used that position to steal her Rhaegar from her chances of marriage. She remembers that night, and she was insulted by that bitch. "You say she is a great beauty, but does she truly understand what the realm needs? Your daughter will not do as well. In fact, she will bring House Targaryen to ruins quicker than all their reigns. She will be better off with some lords of another household, but never the King's household."

Cersei wanted to attack her, but she received a slap by a lowly Stark behind doors when she shouted in the rooms. Even locked her up until she learned a lesson. "I will kill you, Agrippina Stark!" She hissed whisper as she glared at the happiness of the Stark siblings. Jaime Lannister saw her. The girl he hurt and left at the cruel hands of men. Now she is a woman who shows more Iron and steel in her bones and blood. She was kind and loved to read him books, but Cersei convinced him to join the Kingsguard, and she will marry Rhaegar to be Queen so they could be together. Jaime felt awful and don't know what to say. Or if she even wished to see him and tell him at all. She is a changed woman who would order and command everyone on a whim.

House of Tully looked shocked. The King's daughter is actually the daughter of Rickard Stark, and she is truly formidable and beautiful. Perhaps, Hoster thought he could bring Edmure if marriage could work between them.

Brandon danced with his sister on the floor as others joined in.

"Are you happy?" Brandon whispers to his sister.

"Yes, now that I know my homeland has better protection now that I am here."

They twirled and stepped backward.

"When will you come home? We missed you." Brandon said so. The household wasn't the same without her in it.

"I will visit since I convinced the King to come to the North. We had plans." Brandon bowed as she curtsies.

The courtiers gave applause to everyone.

"Plans?" Brandon questioned as he walked his sister to mingle.

"For bringing House of Stark and Targaryen's together closer. Imagine Baratheon's ties with Lyanna, your possible ties to Tully's, and Ned given a household of his name and ward that he will foster and marry once she is at age. And I will marry another once I make a choice."

Brandon whispers, "Who is the ward, and should I be worried?"

Agrippina looked at the princess Rhaenys talking with her mother. "Princess Rhaenys."

It was a deal from the Queen, as does Agrippina with Varys support, that the princess shall be the ward of Eddard Stark and his new household.

Her eyes set on Moat Catlin.

It will be the main fortress for the North to be protected.

Reviews are welcome.

Next Chapter, King Aerys travels to the North and greets the Starks. The announcement was made for Eddard and Princess Rhaenys. Agrippina greets her siblings once again.
