Huey slammed his locker putting his books in it, he felt a tap on his shoulder so he turned around. He looked down and guessed who it was..

Jazmine! She had a pair of glasses in her hand and she handed them to him. "Hey cutie! I felt bad for breaking your glasses, they look so horrible and cracked now so I decided to make it up to you and get you a new pair." She smiled.

She took the current glasses off his face and replaced them with the new ones.

Huey was currently squinting, and looking around. "Thanks Jazmine, I appreciate it, but my glasses have a prescription in them and I need to go to an eye doctor to get a new pair. Where did you get these glasses from anyway?"

"Oh, well I got them from the dollar store while I was getting some party supplies." Jazmine said.

"That explains it," Huey said as he took his old glasses out of her hand, and gave her the ones she bought. "How was the party anyway?" He asked as he pushed the glasses up his face. "Oh it was fun!" Jazmine said excitedly, "But I don't want to go to a party again."

Huey said, "And why is that?"

"Well, there are a bunch of creeps and weirdos who make me feel uncomfortable, and I hate alcohol." Jazmine said. "Don't worry, you know you can always bring me just in case that happens again, I don't mind beating someone's ass!" Huey told her. He knew taking advantage of a dunk girl wasn't right.

"You're funny, but you won't have to worry about that. I'm kind of bummed out though, I don't have many friends or any siblings so I'm kind of lonely. I thought maybe partying would help me gain some friends." Jazmine told him, besides being "popular" she didn't have many friends because they thought she was annoying and extra, and most of them get jealous because their boyfriends (or girlfriends) try to talk to her. In fact, her going to the library wasn't just because she needed help with her work, it was because she had a new idea to make friends.

She decided that she would make friends with all the geeks, because they wouldn't betray her or be fake, because they were lonely themselves and kind of losers. They should be lucky a girl like them was in her presents. Huey was one of her first friends and she liked talking with him for the past 2 days and so.

"You can hang out with me if you want, I don't mind." Huey suggested. Jazmine twisted her lips to the side and placed her finger on her chin to think, "Hmm," she said, "I guess. Do you wanna get smoothies later?!" She asked, jumping up and down excited.

Huey watched him get all excited and jumpy, he tried to calm her down. "Sure, I don't mind."

"Great, after school, asap! You're paying!" Jazmine said, walking off back to class. Huey blushed as he watched her walk off slowly.

"What was that?" Cairo asked.

Huey looked up, the voice was a bit surprising, he didn't know where he came from and he was furious. "Oh, Jazmine. She's nice." Huey said, trying to act casual. Cairo shook his head, and decided to walk over to him to give him a little talk.

"Don't get so cocky, Jazmine is nice to everyone...she's just friendly."

"Oh yeah, so why did she kiss me?" Huey shot back, crossing his arms. Cairo laughed, "You really are clueless, dork."

Huey lifted his eyebrow up, now interested in what he was saying. "Jazmine kisses everyone on the CHEEK, boys and girls.I guess that's her way of being nice, it's nothing romantic, she genuinely thinks of it that way."

Huey looked at the table trying to process, he wasn't hurt or anything, just confused, very confused. He didn't know jazmine was that friendly.

"Why do you think I ain't hit? That girl is for everybody, have luck." Cairo said as he got up getting ready to leave, patting him on the shoulder.

Cairo left already, Huey honestly didn't know that. It didn't change how he viewed her though, he doesn't think she does it to be a "Hoe '' as Cairo said, that's just her way of being kind. It did make him wonder what made her think/act that way. It kind of hurts though, but he can't be mad at her because she wasn't trying to, she probably doesn't understand what she's doing and is just an innocent little act. It was though, there was nothing wrong with kissing someone on the cheek, but everyone she makes friends with?

Huey walked in the smoothie and froyo place a few blocks away from the school and found a chair, he sat down at the tables with the high chairs that were pink.

He would have sat at the tables with the stools and cool looking chairs, but he was too tall for that. They seriously need to fix that. Huey waited for like 10 minutes for her to come, she didn't give him her number yet so he had no way of contacting her. He just assumed she probably knew what place he would be in.

Huey finally saw her walk into the shop, he sat up and watched her try to find him, she looked tired. "I looked at every smoothie place, I finally found you!" She said,

"You didn't give me your number." He said simply. "Ohh yeah, I can give it, to you let me just…." Jazmine said, awkwardly she couldn't reach up to the seats.

"Here," Huey said as he picked her up and placed her in the seat. "That was embarrassing," she said, rubbing her arm. He shrugged, "I don't think so. But like, I need to ask you something."

"Okay, but can we wait until afterwards? This stuff looks good, they have fruit! I love fruit!" Huey laughed awkwardly, "Yeah, sure." He said a bit annoyed.

The waitress came up to their table and she had a tablet in her hand presumably for the menu. This place was all Happy pink themed and high tech, Huey wasn't surprised by this though, trying to "modernize" shops and such.

"Hello and welcome! Here is the menu." The waitress said, placing the tablet on the table. "If you want to throw your trash away we have our wonderful staff that can help you by a click of a button." She held her hand out to show them the workers.

"Wow! Are those Robots?" Jazmine asked, clapping her hands excitedly. She nodded, "Well, if that's it I will leave you two alone to decide."

"What are you getting Huey?" She asked, kicking her feet. "I don't know, I'm not a fan of super sweet stuff." Huey answered. Jazmine looked up from her menu after hearing that, she didn't understand why he didn't like sweet stuff, it's amazing everyone should like it.

"Why?" She asked, curiously. "I just feel like it gets in the way of my workouts, I don't need sugar right now." Huey told her, looking at the menu with her.

'I'm getting this, this, and THIS!' Jazmine said, clicking on everything she saw. Hueys eyes widened, he wasn't made of money and he didn't have it to waste on a bunch of sweet stuff she probably wouldn't even finish because of a belly ache.

Huey took the menu and cleared everything, "Lets get 2 things, okay?" He insisted. Jazmine nodded her head, "Sorry." she said, touching his shoulder.

That was the issue he wanted to explain to her about, glad he was reminded. "Um, Jazmine, let's have a talk now, while we wait. Are you done ordering?" He asked.

Jazmine nodded her head and handed the tablet over to him to look at, "What is it?"

"I know we just started talking, but when you kissed me, why was that?" Huey asked.

"Oh, yeah, You're like a friend to me. You're so nice, and you help me alot, It's like giving a hug. It's not like I kissed you on the lips, but that's something romantic. If I wanted to I could, but I'm saving my kiss for someone special."

Huey sighed, Surprisingly Cairo was right.

The robot scooted up to the table. It had Eyes drawn on it that lit up, like a lantern. It was green and it blinked, "Your treat is ready!" The robot voice was loud and very static.

Huey got out of his seat, and placed the stuff on the table, Jazmine imdeletely got her smoothie and started drinking it. "Cash or card?" The robot said. Huey dug in his pocket searching for his cash app card, and placed it in the slot the robot had. "Thank you! Come again." The Robot said, wheeling away.

"What is that?" Huey asked Jazmine, "It's a Mango smoothie, want some?" Jazmine offered, shoving it in his face.

"I'm good, your mouth was on that." Huey said, a bit disgusted. "Huey, you know if you ever kiss me one day, and I mean IF, have you ever had the thought of my spit being in your mouth anyway?" Jazmine said.

Huey blushed at the thought of that, she was right. But was she implying that she had feelings for him, or was she just saying? Either way, the way she worded it was just so out there.

"I'm just saying," Jazmine shrugged while drinking it again. "Well are you just gonna watch me drink this or are you gonna try some?"

"Jazmine, I don't want it." Huey said.

"Well," Jazmine said, as she pulled out the bowl of fruit in a coconut bowl and placed a fork in it, "Here." Jazmine pulled the fork towards his mouth and scooted closer to him.

"Jazmine." Huey said, "What is it now Huey? I didn't put my mouth on the fruit, so just try it, its Kiwi is my favorite."

"Kiwi makes my mouth itchy." He said.

"Hm?" Jazmine asked. Huey shook his head, "Nevermind." Then he opened his mouth and fed it to him. "See, was that so bad, Huey pooey?" Jazmine said, as she got a napkin and wiped his mouth off. "Never call me that again," Huey said seriously, and sternly. Jazmine laughed it off, "You're so funny."

"Yeah, yeah, sure." He said. "Do you want some more?" Jazmine asked him, picking up strawberries with a fork. Huey shook his head, but Jazmine insisted and gave it to him anyway. "So, you workout?" Jazmine asked, trying to start a conversation.

"Yeah," Huey said, pushing his glasses up.

"I didn't know that." Jazmine said, "Well, I used to cheer, but I got voted off." Huey lifted his eyebrow up, "Why?" He asked.

Jazmine looked up in the air, "Well, it was because I refused to use stolen moves from the dance team. They worked so hard on that routine and it wasn't fair, so I ratted them out. They called me a opp and then I was told to leave.

Huey chuckled, "Wow." He said, wiping his eyes from laughing so hard. "It's not funny!" Jazmine said, crossing her arms. "I know, I know. You're a good person for that, in fact you're a good person in general."

Jazmine smiled and looked at him deeply for a moment then she looked away, "It is pretty late though, my parents are expecting me home. I'll see you tomorrow, okay?"

"Yeah, I'll see you tomorrow." Huey said.
