It was their wedding day.

They were standing at the front of the room, they had just finished saying their vows. Now they were exchanging their rings. Danny could feel Dash's hands shaking but he still had the biggest smile on his face as he did so.

"You may kiss the groom!" The wedding officiant called.

Danny placed his hands on Dash's cheeks, pulling him into a kiss as their families cheered. Dash kissed him back as he smiled into the kiss. They pulled away, smiling and looking into each other's eyes.

Suddenly, Phil was in between them and the wedding officiant, scaring Danny.

"Hello, your majesty."

"Shit! Phil!" Danny gasped. "How many times do we have to go over this? It's been like eight years, man!"

"I'm sorry, your majesty." Phil said. "But you are both needed in the castle."

Danny furrows a brow as he looks at Phil. "Both of us?"

Before they can get any more out, Phil is grabbing onto both their arms and teleporting them to the castle. When they arrive, Danny is holding his head and Dash is trying not to vomit all over the floor.

"Phil! Warn us! How do you always forget this every time?"

"I'm sorry, your majesty."

"That was terrible." Dash groaned. "I take back every time I joked about Phil teleporting me to work when I'm running late. Never again."

"Phil, why the fuck did you interrupt our wedding?" Danny asked. "Couldn't it have waited till tomorrow or something?"

"It is time for, as you kids would say it, your wedding boogaloo and coronation ceremony, your majesty."

"Phil, I think you might be getting your memes mixed up. And what coronation ceremony? Didn't we do that when I was like fourteen?"

"Not for you, your majesty. For your husband."

"What? But he's a human. Does he need to go through a ghost wedding and coronation?" Danny asked.

"Yes, your majesty. Because you are part ghost."

Danny sighed. "Alright, but we need to get back. We still have to take pictures and then go to the reception."

"This way, your majesty." Phil waved them towards the door that would take them to the throne room. When they walked into the throne room, it was filled with ghosts from all over the zone.

"Follow me, your majesty. I will be your officiant for this ghost wedding."

"A wedding officiant?" Dash said. "Is there anything you can't do?"

"Live, Mr. Baxter."

"Ah. That's a good one."

Danny and Dash stood at the front of the throne room much like how they were at their wedding ceremony. Phil somehow pulled out a giant book from his pocket and started reading.

"Dearly beloved." Phil starts. "We are gathered here today to join these men in ghostly matrimony.

"Danny, do you take this man to be your husband, to live and die in ghostly matrimony, to love him, to comfort him, to honor him, and to keep him in sickness and in health, forsaking all others, for as long as you both shall live in life and the afterlife?"

"Throwing in the afterlife?" Danny chuckled. "You won't be able to get rid of me." Danny says to Dash. Phil gives him the stink eye, telling him to get back on track. Danny clears his throat. "I do."

"Dash, do you take this man to be your husband, to live and die in ghostly matrimony, to love him, to comfort him, to honor him, and to keep him in sickness and in health, forsaking all others, for as long as you both shall live in life and the afterlife?"

Dash nods. "I do."

"Repeat after me, your majesty." Phil nods at Danny. "I, Danny, take you, Dash, to be my husband, to have to to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poor, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death and afterlife do us part."

Danny repeats after Phil. After Danny finishes speaking, Dash leans towards him.

"What happens after the afterlife?"

Danny shrugs as Phil starts talking again.

"Repeat after me, Mr. Baxter."

Dash repeats what Phil reads out to him. Then Phil is pulling a ring box out of his pocket. When he opens the box, inside are sitting two blacks rings with green stones.

"Place the rings on each other's fingers and repeat after me." Phil says. "I give you this ring as a token and pledge of our constant faith and abiding love."

They both repeat it as they slide the rings onto their fingers next to their gold wedding rings.

"By virtue of the authority vested in me under the laws of the ghost zone, I now pronounce you husbands. You may now kiss the groom, your majesty."

They kiss each other in similar fashion to how they did just a little bit ago and the room erupts into cheers. They taper off soon after as Phil walks up to Dash with a crown that matches their rings.

"Now we'll begin the coronation." Phil shooed Danny off to the side, so he takes a step back as Phil walks up to Dash.

Phil places the crown on Dash's head and out of his never ending pockets, Phil pulls out a scepter and orb. He holds them out for Dash to take and he makes a swirly motion with his finger, prompting Dash to turn around to face the audience.

Phil speaks what sounds like gibberish to Dash's ears, the only thing he can understand is the ending.

"King Dash, of the ghost zone!"

Danny takes Dash's arm and together they walk down the aisle out of the throne room. The ghosts are applauding around them. Once they exit the room, the doors close behind them and Dash lets out a breath.

"Well that was mostly painless. Will you be flying us back to the reception? No more Phil Airlines?"

"Yeah, I'll fly us back." Danny chuckled.

Dash smiled. "Okay." He held up the scepter and orb. "What do I do with these?"

"I can take them, your majesty." Phil says, suddenly appearing next to Dash.

"Shit!" Dash jumps away. After a moment Dash holds them as far away from his body as he can and Phil takes the scepter and orb from him, stowing them back in his pockets.

"Phil, how long have you had never ending pockets?" Danny asked.

"As long as I have been a royal advisor, your majesty."

"So like, for forever?"

Phil nods.

"Okay, well." Danny starts. "We're gonna get back to our wedding. And no." Danny starts when Phil raises his hands to grab them. "You will not be taking us. I don't think Dash wants to know what it's like to throw up mid teleport." Danny shivers.

"No thank you." Dash shakes his head.

Danny picks Dash up and together they fly away.

"Did you know we had to have a ghost wedding?" Dash asked.

"No." Danny shook his head. "It's probably on that long list of things that Phil keeps forgetting to mention to me."

"Ah." Dash says. "The list."

Danny nods his head solemnly. "I wish that list was on a whiteboard in the throne room. I know it exists, but it's probably buried in his pockets or something."

Dash chuckled and kissed Danny on the cheek. "You can go digging in his pockets when we get back from our honeymoon."

"Phil will probably find us on our honeymoon, don't fool yourself. I'm sure I'll have the opportunity before we even get back."

Dash shook his head and smiled at Danny. "I love you."

Danny smiled back. "I love you too."
