A/N: Like the title suggests, this is a special and long chapter. I wrote this after seeing the Rwby Chibi short Tai the Sub. This takes place five years in the future of the main story, but it may or may not be canon. This was written for fun; juts know it probably won't be as funny as the short it's based on. . . Or funny at all. I have two other specials (for now), but those are a long way ahead. Hope you enjoy this one

Argent and Lyra were playing paper football, waiting for their teacher to show up. Their classmates were doing their own thing.

A student next to them was reading a book. It was just a young man with purple eyes and wild bright orange hair around Lyra's age... who was sneaking peaks at the beauty. He wished he was in Argent's position, since he had a crush on her.

The student behind Argent was a muscular girl with short burnt-orange hair, a tattoo of a familiar bird crest on her muscular arm, and armor that would also look familiar. She looked pretty bored. She looked ready to leave the class.

The boy next to her was a sleepy looking boy with greenish-gray eyes, shaggy hair, and baggy clothes. He was yawning, wondering if he had enough time to take a nap. He also wondered if he should use his Semblance on his teacher again to get some more shut eye.

The final student was a cute Wolf Faunus girl. She was reading her textbook to be ready for whatever her teacher would throw at her. She was quite well endowed for her age, rivaling Lyra's bust. She had an air to her, not quite the heiress vibe you would have gotten from Weiss at her age, but still one of a respectable or at the very least proud background. Her wolf ears twitched when she thought she heard the door being opened.

The door then opened. "Alright, students. Get ready. We're about to start class."

"Sure thing, dad. Just let me and Lyra finish this- THAT IS MY DAD," Argent flailed as he fell onto Lyra's breasts, the student next to her nearly ripping his book in half when it happened. "Dad, I swear, I had nothing to do with what happened to that locker! I was with Lyra! She has my alibi! Sometimes things just explode!"

"Yeah! We're innocent," Lyra chimed in.

"Relax, you two. I'm not here for whatever you two are on about. Though, now I feel like I need to have a talk with my kid."

"Geeku," Argent went.

"As of now, neither of you are in trouble. Besides, if you were, Lyra, Ren would be here instead of me," Jaune said as he walked towards the board.

"Oh, yeah."

"I'm your substitute teacher for today," Jaune said as he wrote on the board.

"Oh, cool," Lyra said. Moments passed. "Wait, what?" Argent's eyes shrunk.

"Dr. Oobleck has some important business to deal with."

With Oobleck. "THIS! ISLAND! IS! MAGNIFICENT," he screamed at the stop of Grimm Island. "I CAN'T BELIEVE MY STUDENT CREATED SUCH A GEOLOGICAL MARVEL!" He cackled maniacally as Big Ben pounded his chest after another victory to keep his title as king of the island.

"So, Headmistress Goodwitch contacted me to sub for him."

"We're being taught by the Vale Knight himself," the boy next to Lyra asked.

"Mr. Stein Neid, correct?"

"Uh, yes, sir."

"There's no need to call me the Vale Knight. You can call me Mr. Arc, or Professor if that is more comfortable for you, or even just Jaune. I'm only the Vale Knight on missions."

"Or when you're being interviewed, eh, superhero," the muscular girl scoffed.

"Hm... Glas... Winchester, eh?"

"Yeah, my dad is Cardin Winchester. That a problem," she glared.

"Not at all. You're not your father. I'm just surprised at the coincidence. To think I'd be teaching his daughter, of all people," Jaune chuckled.

She scoffed and looked away. "Whatever."

"Now that we've gotten my name out of the way, I'd like to ask you NOT to use your Semblances in class. This is a modern history class, not a training course, Mr. Winkle Blauw," Jaune said towards the sleepy boy.

"Aw, man. He noticed. I thought only the Doc was immune," the boy lazily said as he lowered his finger before yawning.

"Kid, I dealt with a pack of Apathy before my little 'accident'. You're going to need to enhance your Semblance to a MUCH higher degree if you want to knock me out."

The Faunus then raised her hand. "So, you really did find a cure, sir? I mean, you look like a regular human."

"Ms..." Jaune looked at his clipboard to find the student's name. His eyes widened before looking at the student, who looked confused. 'She has her name... and even LOOKS like her. Can it be? . . . No. No, that'd be way too strange of a coincidence. First Cardin's kid and now. . .' Jaune cleared his throat. "Ms. Taria Balto, yes?"

"Um, yes, sir."

"To answer your question, no, I never found a cure. I suppose there's no reason to keep it a secret," Jaune said as he held up his wrist, showing a watch. He then pushed a button on it. The space around Jaune seemed to bend and fritz before Aura shined around Jaune, hiding him. When it was gone, it revealed him in his Grimm Form.

The students, except for Argent, Lyra, and Glaes; were in awe of Jaune.

Glaes scoffed before looking away. 'I guess he looks kinda cool,' she thought.

Jaune then pushed the button again, the same thing happening once more, only this time he was human again. "New Mantle Hologram Watch. Custom made for me but may be mass produced one day."

"May I ask for what reason, sir," Stein went with his hand raised.

"Well, Stein," Jaune said as he held up his hand, activating his Semblance. "There are some injuries that not even our modern science or my very own Semblance can heal. Some Huntsmen love their scars, seeing them as either trophies or badges of honor. Others, not so much."

"Tch, REAL Huntsmen should be proud of their scars," Glaes said.

"Well, enough about that. As you know, this is a history class, however, Oobleck loved... and I do mean LOVED ancient history. And while I respect that now, I'm more into modern history, considering the threats today are more dangerous than they were in ancient times, so we can only learn so much from then and use that knowledge in the future. So, instead of the Faunus Revolution or the Great War, I'd like to see how well you kids know of recent history, say the past fifty years."

Jaune wrote the topic on the board. "Now, who can tell me a recent world event?"

Stein raised his hand. "Your trip throughout Remnant five years ago?"

Jaune jolted. "Okay, that's a bit too recent. How about another one?"

"When you fought the God of Darkness to a stand-still until the Maidens showed up to kick him off the planet," Winkle said sleepily.

"Still part of the trip, so too recent."

"When you dated Headmistress Goodwitch," Argent asked.

"HE DID WHAT," Glaes went as she jumped up from her seat with a giant smile on her face.

"ARIE! THAT IS NOT RELEVANT IN THE LEAST AND PERSONAL INFO!"

Argent shrunk, realizing he screwed up. "Shishishi, sorry, dad," he went sheepishly.

Jaune pointed the chalk at Lyra. "Favorite parts, double unwanted, sweets all yours."

Lyra saluted with a giant smile. "ROGER!"

The students looked confused, especially when they saw how comically dejected Argent look, but the translation is: At dinner, you take all of his favorite parts of the meal, put your last favorite parts on his plate (since they pretty much like and hate the same food anyway), and take his dessert for yourself.

Jaune sighed. "Alright, five years seems to be TOO recent," Jaune said with a twitching eyebrow. 'Or not recent enough in Glynda's case,' Jaune mumbled.

"Sir?"

"Hm?"

"Is seventeen years too recent," Taria asked.

"Seventeen, huh? No. That should be a good enough. About three years after Salem's defeat and enough time for the world to change, so I'll allow it. What did you have in mind?"

"The Defense of the Vytal Island."

"Ooh, that's a good one. Now, what can you tell me, Ms. Balto?"

"About seventeen years ago, when the world was still recovering from the Final Grimm Battle, before New Mantle was at its full power, and most of the Kingdoms and Huntsmen Academies were in recover, there were various gangs and bandits trying to take over various territories. One of the most vicious skirmishes involved a group of unnamed bandits trying to take over Vytal Island. They were ruthless, cunning, and numerous. They slaughtered or enslaved the citizens of the island, butchered nearly all of the Huntsmen on the island, and even destroyed the local tribes, save for one: the Balto tribe. In fact, it was the Blato Tribe that drove out the bandits."

"Hm? Is that what you were told, my dear?"

Taria looked surprised before she looked defensive. "Are you saying it's wrong, sir?"

"Actually, yes. Though the Blato Tribe was involved, they themselves weren't the ones who drove off the bandits. It would be far more accurate to say one specific member of the tribe drove them out, and she was a member of the branch tribe of the clan."

Taria's eyes widened. "She? Sir, do you know who that member was?"

Jaune sighed. "So, they DID omit her role. We both knew they might, but she herself didn't care. She just wanted her home to be safe." Jaune then wrote down a name that made Taria stand in shock. "Her name was Murua Balto, the tribeswoman who turned the tide of the war by personally taking out the bandit leader."

Taria stared at the name in shock.

"How do you know that sir," Stein asked. "You speak as if you were there."

"Oh, that's because I was." Taria looked at Jaune in shock as she sat down. "I was responding to a mission post. Due to how dangerous the bandits were, the mission was an A rank, but would have been upgraded to S in about a week or so. News about the Huntsmen already on the island hadn't reached the Kingdoms or other villages yet, so many Huntsmen didn't see the need to go, since Remnant was quite damaged, and many believed they needed to help elsewhere."

"So, why did you go, dad?"

"Ahem."

"Ur, Professor?"

"Honestly, it was just a gut feeling. If Vytal Island required Huntsman that could take A-Rank missions, it must have been important for some reason. Plus, I wasn't that far from the island to begin with due to a previous mission."

"Was it the mission where you and my dad had to take down a Nightmare," Lyra asked.

"No. That one was later. Anyway, I went to the island to help, only to have the ship I was on get raided by the same bandits. Another Huntsman and I took them out easily, and when we saw the state of the actual island, we both knew we were right to take the job. Had nothing been done, those men would have probably started a new war against Vale that might have escalated to a new Great War if things went wrong."

"Wait, you sayin' you stopped a war," Glaes asked.

"No. I MAY have prevented one, but we did stop a hostile takeover. It took a few days, but he and I met up with Murua. She... tried to kill us, thinking we were bandits. It took a bit of convincing and us taking down a patrol of bandits, but she realized we were friends and decided to let us help her."

"Who was the other guy," Lyra asked.

Jaune stopped writing on the board, lowering his hand. Argent and Lyra then recognized Jaune's sad smile. "A friend... and a hero."

The two slumped down a bit. They'd both heard Jaune's stories so many times, that they recognized his small cues easily. Whenever he called someone a hero with that smile... it meant they were killed or died.

Jaune shook his head. "Well, it took both Murua and I and a few tribesmen and surviving Huntsmen a while, but we eventually drove out the bandits. It was especially easy after Murua took out the Bandit Head."

"How do YOU know she killed him," Glaes asked.

"I was fighting his second-in-command while Murua dueled the leader. I was also taking out any grunts that tried to interrupt her fight, too. Bowmen, spearmen, swordsmen; the works. That lieutenant was a real piece of work, though. Guy nearly lobbed my head off," Jaune said as he rubbed his neck.

"Professor Arc, what was this Murua like," Stein asked.

"Well, if I were to describe her, I would say she was strong, loyal, incredibly skilled, brave, if not a bit stubborn and headstrong, and... well, she was quite beautiful."

"Oh, no."

Jaune looked at his son. "Something wrong, Argent."

"Don't tell me, dad." Jaune raised his eyebrow in confusion. "You DATED her, didn't you?"

Taria jolted, eyes wide as dinner plates, while Jaune crushed the chalk into dust onto the chalkboard.

"Wait, the Vale Knight, the new freakin' Grimm King, dated a Faunus?!" Glaes laughed her head off. "THAT'S FREAKIN' HILARIOUS!"

Taria glared at the laughing tomboy, her ears pinned back, growling softly. She wanted to attack her so badly but was keeping her anger in check.

Glaes then immediately stopped laughing, looking melancholic before falling to the floor. "What," she went lazily.

Everyone then looked at Jaune, who was pointing his hand towards her. "I fail to see the comedy in this."

"Oh, he's mad," Argent and Lyra said in unison, both looking nervous.

"You... loved... an... animal. That's... fun... ny," Glaes struggled to say as she tried to get up, only to just lazily and apathetically fall back down. "Uuuh, I feel like shit."

"Such is the power of the Apathy." Jaune then took out a notebook and wrote in it. "I'll leave Headmistress Goodwitch one for training. I don't control every single Grimm on Remnant. It will be good for all of you to become resistant, even by a little bit, to the power of an Apathy."

Jaune then put the book down and turned back to the board. "As you so eloquently put it, Arie-"

"Dad, please don't call me by my nickname," Argent said in embarrassment.

"Arie," he doubled down. "I did have a relationship with Murua." That got Taria's attention. "I stayed on Vytal Island for a few months after the war. Plenty of Grimm flocked to the island due to the negativity it was spewing from the murder, hatred, greed, and... Well, I wasn't wanting for work, that's for sure."

"Murua basically became my partner during the five months I spent on that island. I was able to experience her bravery, skill..." Jaune snickered. "And stubbornness the entire time." Taria blushed. "Many claimed to be the best, but if you ask me, that title belonged to that woman."

"How skilled was she," Stein asked.

"Very. She was a master in her tribe's martial art, the Fang of the Wolf God. And her weapon was pretty low-tech but effective. If I remember correctly, it was... Hm, what was it again?"

"A bow." Jaune looked at Taria. "She used a bow that could separate into a pair of snow knives. She's known as the fastest warrior in both archery and dual-wielding combat, thought to be the best of the best among the Balto Tribe."

"Wow. That's correct. You seem to know quite a bit about her, Ms. Balto. Are you a part of the main tribe?"

She looked away, her ears drooping. "Yes, sir. And... it's only natural I know about her."

"Ah, she was your teacher, I take it?"

"Yes..." She then sighed. "As well as my mother."

The room got quiet. The tension became so thick that even Glaes was uncomfortable.

Jaune sighed. "I see. No wonder you look just like her. And I assume that idiot, Steele, is your father?" Jaune heard a grunt and looked to see Tasia look angry. "Sorry. I didn't mean to insult your father so bl-"

"Don't call him that."

"Huh?"

"I don't consider that scum to be my father." She then looked away with a glare. "That beast is no father."

Jaune stared at the girl, sensing the genuine hatred she had in her. "I see. Well, I suppose it's a good thing you have Murua for a mother."

Tiria smiled softly in pride. "Yes. Yes, it is."

"Still, it really is amazing that that moron helped create such a talented little girl."

"Hm?"

"I read your reports. ALL of your reports. Well done, Argent, Lyra." The two gave a thumbs up. "As for you, Ms. Tasia, your grades are quite impressive as well. Your hand-to-hand is top notch, your weapon maintenance is top notch, you get straight A's, your Semblance is well controlled, and what's most interesting to me is your physicals."

"Interested in younger ladies, eh, Mr. Arc," Winkle said. "She does have a seriously nice-" Argent and Lyra bonked the sleepy boy at the same time, effectively knocking him out.

"And that's extra credit," Jaune said to the two, getting a "shishishi" from Argent and a "V" from Lyra as she held up a double peace. Still, Tasia hugged her breasts in embarrassment, her ears drooping again.

"I was actually going to refer to your Aura level."

"Eh?"

Jaune read the report. "According to this, your Aura is just slightly below Argent's. That's quite impressive. And here I thought only my family could have Aura reserves this high. Though, it's odd. Murua's Aura reserves were just slightly above average, while Steele's was just barely average. No offense to your mother, but it's amazing you were born with enough Aura to have someone confuse you for an Arc."

Tasia's eyes widened as she shot up. "Are you comparing me to an Arc, Professor?!"

"Is that an insult," Jaune asked slightly nervous.

Tasia shook her head vigorously. "Absolutely not! It's the best compliment I could have gotten, sir!" She then realized what she was doing and sat back down, now beet red.

"I see," Jaune went with a snicker, embarrassing the poor wolf even more.

"So, dad?"

"Mm," Jaune went as he gave Argent a look.

"Uh, professor, does this mean I could have been a Faunus?"

Jaune sighed. "Yes, Argent. You could have been a Faunus had things worked out with Murua."

"Aw, you could have had a fluffy tail, Arie," Lyra said as she hugged Argent.

"I woulda wanted fangs. Oh, or claws! Shishishi."

"So, superhero," Glaes went. Jaune just sighed. "Why didn't you end up with the pup?"

"Show a little more respect, Ms. Winchester."

"Tch, respect my aaaaaaaooooooh." Her head slammed onto her desk after Jaune used his Apathy powers on her again.

"I think I might like having my dad for a sub."

"If he keeps doing that, I won't complain." Lyra and Argent then high fived.

"Fuff yuu," Glaes's muffled voice went.

"Well, to answer Ms. Winchester's rather rude question, we were basically forced out of our relationship." That caught Tasia's attention. "She was betrothed." Now her eyes widened.

"She had a fiancé," Stein asked.

"Yup. Right after she killed the bandit leader, she was seen as the Hero of Vytal Island, the islanders beginning to worship and praise her. However, since she was a member of a branch tribe, the main tribe was being looked down on, not being able to save the island they were supposed to protect. So, the big wigs thought of the brilliant idea of having Murua marry a main clan tribesman. And low and behold, the one chosen to be her groom was someone we both hated."

Tasia clenched her fist with such anger that she accidentally clawed the table. "Steele."

"Was he that bad," Lyra asked.

"He was. All bark and no bite. He was a competent fighter, but only competent. Can't even compare to Murua. The most he did was led the tribes into the final battlefield against the bandits. Made a good distraction for Murua to go after the leader, admittedly. Still, it really does pisses me off that of all the main clan members, they chose that jackass."

"Couldn't she have just rejected the marriage," Lyra asked.

Jaune chuckled dryly. "Political marriages can be a real bitch, Lyra. Thankfully, you'll never have to know. Besides, Murua had two major weaknesses involving the marriage... her love for clan and her own damned pride."

"You mean she chose to marry this Steele for the sake of her clan," Stein asked.

"Indeed. On our mission, she often told me how she wished to be born into the main branch of the clan, how she looked up to them, how she wished to protect Vytal Island alongside them, etc., etc.," Jaune explained as he wrote on the board. "She saw this as an opportunity to make her old dream come true and better protect and improve her beloved home, even if she had to marry a pompous idiot she hated." Jaune chuckled dryly. "Still, she made sure Steele wouldn't... 'defile' her. It was one of those requests I would rather have done under much better circumstances, but like she said: better with the one you love than the one you hate."

"What did you do," Tasia asked.

Jaunce chuckled. "A man needs to keep some things in his life a secret."

"He banged her," Glaes said, making Jaune twitched.

"He banged her," Winkle yawned. Jaune jolted again.

"Yup, sounds like my dad, alright." Jaune crushed the chalk again.

"So... you... and my mother-"

"We're not talking about that!"

"That confirmed it," Lyra went.

"Well, not like we care," Argent and Lyra said in unison. "But mom/Aunt Nimueh might," they said with mischievous smiles.

Jaune slumped as he sighed heavily. "She already knew."

"Oh, that's not as fun," the two said in perfect unity again, annoying Stein with how well in sync they were.

"Argent, this was LONG before I married your mom! Don't make it weirder for me!" Jaune groaned. "Besides, I don't think Ms. Balto wants to imagine her mother cheating on her fa-"

"I don't care."

"Huh?" Jaune looked to see an angry looking Tasia.

"I don't care that she slept with you before him. In fact, I'm actually happy to know she became a woman with the one she loved instead of the one she hated." She then looked away. "I just wish I wasn't related by blood to that fool."

"Whoa. And I thought I hated him. I mean, the prick insulted Mr. Boris's borscht. You don't insult damn good soup, especially not in that ungodly winter during the war. And don't even get me started on how he treated Luk. That lovable doofus was basically a giant teddy bear."

"Well, he is a Polar Bear Faunus like his brother," Tasia pointed out.

"Oh, so they're still around, eh?"

"Yes, sir. They're like uncles to me. I must say, I'm grateful to them. They're the reasons I have a somewhat positive outlook on men," she jokingly said.

"Makes sense. If Steele was your only role model, you'd probably hate the guts of every guy you saw." Tasia giggled until she realized Jaune wasn't joking. "Still, I'm glad you're more like your mother than your father. It shows that you were raised well, and that you'll grow to be a fine young woman." Tasia's eyes widened, shining in happiness and pride.

Yet, though she has been complimented before, by her uncles, mother, and her maternal grandfather; Jaune's words hit deeper. Like she was being praised... by her father.

She HATED Steele. He was pompous, abusive, and oblivious. Whatever she did never impressed him. She once killed a manticore with her mother's bow when their village was attacked, but he complained on how many arrows it took her to do it. When she unlocked her Semblance, he said that it was more pathetic than he expected since she was only able to summon one Aura Wolf that fit in her palm; opposed to the near dozen full sized wolves she can summon now. She once accidentally broke his favorite drinking mug, which he smacked her for, despite Mr. Boris easily fixing. He didn't even thank the old Goose Faunus for that act.

But what really cemented her hatred for him was when she caught the newly made Clan Head cheat on her mother with a more trampy looking tribe member. He threatened to beat her and leave her for the Grimm if she ever said anything to her mother, the now Vice Chieftain.

She never saw that man as her father.

'So... why do I see Jaune as a father figure to me? I just met him,' she thought.

"Well, that is to say, all of you have great potential. For example, Ms. Glaes, you seem to have the most consecutive wins in this class."

"Hah! Damn right, I do."

"Three more, and you will have beaten your father's personal record."

". . . What?"

"You heard me. Just three more, and you'll have more wins than your dad." Jaune chuckled. "If you double that, I'll even personally vouch for you on your Huntsman License Exam, maybe even take you on a mission like I plan to do for Argent and Lyra."

"OH, FUCK YEAH," Glaes went in excitement as she practically flew from the desk.

"And Mr. Winkle, your Semblance is considered one of the most well developed, but I think it can be used for something even better than Huntsman work."

"Really? Cool. Not big on being a Huntsman, honestly. So, what can I do?"

"I'll tell you later if you keep your grades up and further improve your Semblance."

"Cool," he yawned.

"And Mr. Stein, I must say, your leadership skills are quite impressive. Keep it up, and I may recommend you to General Schnee herself if you so please."

"THE General Schnee?! Sir, that would be a great honor!"

"I see. Well, I'm pleased to see that the class is so motivated to improve."

"Hell yeah/Cool/Of course," the three went.

Jaune chuckled. "Well, I think we spent enough on Vytal Island. Any other modern historical events you can think of, children?"

"The Fall of Atlas," Stein went.

"Okay, but I was there for that, and I'd rather talk about an event I WASN'T present for this time."

"Fall of Beacon," Winkle went lazily.

"There for that, too."

"Rise of Grimm Island," Lyra asked.

"Lyra, kiddo, I CREATED that island. Literally."

"Come on, dad, you're basically a part of all the cool modern stuff."

"Well, I wasn't there when Headmistress Goodwitch finally purged Vale of the Grimm."

"Wasn't that only possible because you, mom, and Aunt Ruby killed the Wyvern," Argent asked.

"Uuuh... Oh! But there is ONE event I wasn't there for! The Defense of Shade in Vaccuo," Jaune went as he wrote the title. "Where Headmaster Theodore, the only remaining Old Headmaster, along with Vacuo's #1 Huntsman, Sun Wukong, Team SSSN, and Team CFVY had to prevent-"

The bell then rang.

"Oh, well, guess you'll have to hear that story from someone else. Don't tell Sun I was about to tell you this story. He'd say I owe him a bowl of noodles for not telling his 'awesome story' before the bell. Class dismissed."

As the students were leaving the class, they were talking about the lesson.

"So, my dad got together with a Faunus local hero... and I could have had a tail."

"THAT'S what you got out of the lesson," Lyra giggled.

"Well, yeah. I think I'd look pretty good as a Faunus. Plus, I'd have an even better reason to have a Warrior's Wolf Tail like dad."

"You know it's actually a ponytail, right?"

"We stand by what we call it," Argent said with his arms crossed. Lyra giggled.

"But seriously, your dad has had a lot of adventures... with a lot of pretty ladies," Lyra nudged.

"Don't remind me. I count at least six moms in my life. My mom, Aunt Ruby-"

"Who is your ACTUAL mom."

"Yeah, yeah. Platina..." He sighed. "Headmistress Goodwitch."

Lyra giggled. "Wouldn't it be hilarious if she WAS your mom? Think about it, your mom giving you detention."

"Yeah, thanks for the mental image." Argent shivered. "And just think of the expectations. Mom and dad are cool, but I'm betting Headmistress would be a ridiculously strict mom who would give me extra credit work or something."

"More than likely, alongside extra assignments to instill discipline in you."

The two teens stopped and looked up to see the beautiful headmistress standing in front of them, arms crossed.

"HEADMISTRESS GOODWITCH! MOM! I MEAN, MA'AM! I MEAN-" Argent laughed nervously.

"Be careful with your next words, Mr. Arc. Just because your father and I were in a relationship, AND parted on pleasant terms, that doesn't mean I won't be any less lenient on you as I was with him when he was MY student." She then walked off.

Argent then let out a breath. "Ooh, yeah. She'd be a scary mom."

"Oh, but think of this, Taria might be your sister."

"Mhrm!?"

"Food for thoooought ," Lyra went in a singsong tone.

"Oh, come on. Dad was on Vytal Island seventeen years ago. How old is Taria."

"I'm sixteen." The two jumped as they looked behind them to see the said beautiful Faunus, raising her eyebrow. "How old did you think I was?"

The two looked at each other before looking back at the beauty. "Close to eighteen," they said in unison.

"Hey. Just to let you know, I JUST turned sixteen. I'm younger than you, Ms. Ren."

"Ooh, I've got seniority," Lyra said with a snicker.

"Did you have to mention that to her," Argent said with a slump.

Taria shrugged. "It needed to be said."

"But hey, at least we know I'm right. You two could be siblings," Lyra said as she bought the two into a group hug.

"Don't be silly," Taria said as she pulled Lyra's arm off of her shoulder. "Jaune Arc is a legendary Huntsman and hero. There's no way I could be a part of such a bloodline," she said as she walked away.

"But isn't your mom a hero, too," Argent asked.

Taria stopped. "Yes, she is. And I'm proud to be her daughter."

"But it doesn't sound like you're proud to be your dad's kid," Argent said as he put his arms behind his head. "He must really suck if My dad hates him. I mean, I don't see Aunt Ruby as my mom, but at least we're cool. I still love her."

"Speaking of family, Uncle Jaune seemed to be really nice to you, Taria."

"Huh," she went as she looked at the beauty.

"Yeah. He even called you 'kiddo'. He only ever called me, Lyra, and my older brother that."

"You have an older brother," Taria asked.

"Yeah. He's seriously cool. His name is-" Argent realized what he was doing and shook his head, his half-brother and stepmother still a close nit secret that only a select few in his family knew about. When Yang and Qrow found out, they spent nearly an entire day trying to kill his dad. "Wait, we need to get to our next class! Prof. Port is supposed to be finishing his story about how he and Dr. Oobleck took on a flock of Grimm during the Fall of Beacon. Later," he said as he ran off.

"Bye," Lyra went with a wave as she chased after her childhood friend and boyfriend.

Taria watched as they ran off and waved. She was about to head to the library to enjoy her Free Period when thoughts came into her mind:
'She was basically my partner while I was on the island'
'He banged her.'
'He only ever called me and my brother kiddo.'
'Born with enough Aura to be confused for an Arc.'
'Better than with the one you love than with the one you hate.'

And most importantly:

'Seventeen years.'

"I'm... sixteen. Mr. Arc was my mother's lover seventeen years ago. . . And before my mother could marry that bastard... she asked the Vale Knight to..." Taria then took off running.

When she was on the roof, she sniffed the air to make sure no one was around. Just in case, she jumped onto the top of the stairway entrance before taking out her scroll and dialing a number.

It rang a few times before someone answered.

'This is quite the surprise. You usually don't call at this time of day, especially not on a school day.'

Taria smiled. "I just wanted to hear your voice... mother."

'Is that so? Well, sweetheart, why did you want to 'hear your mother's voice'? Did something happen?'

"Honestly, yes."

Murua sighed. 'Do I need to speak with Ms. Goodwitch?'

"Oh, no! Nothing bad! It's... well... the Vale Knight was our substitute."

The line was quiet.

"Mom?"

'The Vale Knight? . . . A-As in Jaune? Jaune Arc?'

Taria noticed the odd tone in her mother's voice. "Y-Yes, mother. It was him."

'O-Oh. I see. Well, did you learn well from him?'

"I did. I learned the ACTUAL history of the war seventeen years ago."

Murua sighed. 'So, he told you, did he?'

"Yes, he did. Mother, why didn't you tell me you were the Hero of Vytal? You kept the identity of the island's champion ambiguous! Because of that, people think it's that idiot, Steele, instead of you!"

'Sweetheart, you shouldn't talk about your father in such a way.'

"HE'S NOT MY FATHER!"

Murua sighed. 'Look, I know you don't get along with him, but he is your father.'

Taria was quiet for a bit. "Is he?"

'What?'

"Mother... I know you were romantically involved with Mr. Arc."

'Wha?! How did you- I mean-"

"So, it's true."

Murua groaned. 'Jaune, you idiot. Why did he have to-'

"He didn't say it out loud. His son figured it out... since apparently, he had quite a few flings before he was married."

'Oh, so I fell in love with a playboy. That's nice to know.'

"He wasn't a playboy. He explained how he... how he loved you, mother. But your stubborn pride and honor prevented you from being with him."

'It wasn't just mine. His honor made it so he didn't want to interfere with our ways. I'm grateful for him for seeing it our way.'

Taria heard the tone in her mother's voice. "But a part of you wishes he fought back, right?" When her mother didn't respond, she got her answer. "Mother... he also told us you gave him a final request before your marriage." She heard her mother's light gasp. "We're in our teens, mother. We can catch innuendos easily."

'I... I see.'

"Mother, I'm begging you. Please, be honest with me. . . I need to know. . ." Taria took a deep breath to calm herself before she opened her golden eyes.

"Is Jaune Arc my father?"

The scroll was quiet for a bit before Murua sighed. 'Before I killed the bandit leader, I was just a member of the branch tribe. There was no importance to me at all, except as another skilled warrior. Things became more complicated after my victory. Maybe, if I never defeated that madman, I would have been able to. . .'

Taria heard the subtle sadness in her mother's voice.

'Still, when I was informed that I was to marry into the main clan, I jumped at the opportunity... until I found out who my betrothed was.'

"Steele," Taria spat out.

'A womanizing, prideful, pompous, arrogant fool. His skill was average at best. If you ask me, he only had looks on his side.' Taria snickered, making Murua giggle. 'I thought you'd react like that.'

"I'm sorry, mother, but compared to Jaune, he's about as attractive as Uncle Muk's sculptures."

'Hey, your uncle tries.' The mother and daughter laughed at that exchange. 'I couldn't stand the thought of giving myself to that fool. . . at least not fully.'

"So... you asked Jaune... your current lover... to. . ."

'To make me a woman before Steele did. One full night, we shared a bed. Hours upon hours, no rest, no sleep, but so much passion. So much desire. So much... love.'

"Mother," Taria went in embarrassment.

Murua giggled. 'Sorry, sweetheart. Compared that to the night I shared with Steele, though-' You could hear the boredom and disgust in Murua's voice.

"OKAY! THAT'S ENOUGH, MOM!"

Murua laughed. 'How long has it been since you've called me mom,' she laughed. She then sighed. 'He barely lasted a minute. What's more... unlike with Jaune... I didn't feel anything... REACH me. If anything, I felt it leak out.'

Taria's eyes widened. "Wait, but... that would mean."

'What's more... when you were born... you had the most beautiful blue eyes. As clear and bright as a cloudless summer sky.'

"What? But Steele's eyes are ICE blue. The only ones I know with eyes that blue is..." Taria's eyes widened in realization.

'Well, my dear. Now you know. Your father isn't Steele Balto. . . Your father is Jaune Arc, the Hero of Remnant.'

"My father... isn't that idiot... but..." Taria saw water fall to the ground. "Huh?" She then rubbed her eyes and saw that her hand was wet. "What? I'm... I'm crying," she giggled.

'Taria? Love, I'm sorry for keeping such an important secret from you for so long. I know this must be devastating, but-'

"Devastating? Mother, I'm OVERJOYED. I'm so happy that I'm crying."

'Eh?'

"That worthless, misogynistic, cheating mutt isn't my father. The greatest hero in the world is."

' . . . What?'

"Huh?"

'What was that last description?'

"Oh... Well, I'm all the way in Vale and he's all the way in Vytal. Besides, Uncle Boris, Muk and Luk can confirm it. I think Muk was even lucky enough to get a picture of it. Steele has been cheating on you. I thought for the longest time it was only Dixie."

'Dixie. That tiny, gaudy, ditz of a woman who brings the clan supplies every few months?'

"The very same midget. And according to Uncle Boris, he's seen Steele take other woman out on dates."

'Is that right.' Taria could hear the anger in her mother's voice, and she was loving it. The best part is that Steele is only the Clan Head by name. He's basically a Figurehead. Her mother is respected as the leader of the Balto Tribe, loved and respected by all who matter. If she were to beat the crap out of Steele, which would be child's play for the powerful warrior, no one would stop her. In fact, Taria knew PLENTY of other warriors who would gladly join her.

Still, Taria wanted to know one last thing. "Mother... does... does father know about me?"

'Father, huh?' Taria blushed. Murua sighed. 'No, my dear. He doesn't. I never once told him. I... lied to him and told him I had taken Contraceptive Pills. He believed I was unable to give birth that entire night. His last memory of me is most likely our final kiss goodbye.'

Taria looked down. "I see."

There was an awkward silence.

"He deserves to know."

'Taria-'

"He has the right. He's my father and he should know. Besides, I won't ask him to be in my life. I won't ask him for anything shallow. I just... I just want him to know he's the reason I exist. To know that I'm not that idiot's daughter." She then looked up towards the sky. "I'm the daughter of one of Remnant's greatest heroes in history. The child of the Vale Knight, the Strongest Man in the World, the World's Greatest Huntsman... and the current King of Grimm. I am Taria Arc Balto."

Murua laughed. 'Already taking his name, are we?'

Taria smiled. "Yeah."

'So, that means your initials are T A B?'

Taria's eyes widened. "Oh, no."

'Maybe I should call you Tab from now on.'

"Please stop," Taria snickered as she had her hand over her face in embarrassment. She then realized something. "Wait... Aw, that's disgusting!"

'Hm? What is?'

"I was attracted to my little brother!"

'What,' Murua laughed out.

"I had a crush on Argent when I first saw him! Aw, I'm getting Lyra a pancake buffet after this!"

Murua laughed over the scroll, Taria joining in the laughter.

Murua let out a satisfied sigh. 'I love you, Taria.'

Taria smiled while wiping off one last tear. "I love you, too, mother."

'Now then... I have some 'business' to attend to as the new Chieftain.'

Taria smiled ear to ear. "Make him yelp, mother."

'Oh, I intend to, sweetie. Goodbye.'

"Goodbye." With that, Taria hung up. She then jumped down and practically skipped down the stairs.

When she jumped the last flight, she saw she was about to fall onto someone. "OH, NO!" She then squeezed her eyes shut.

"WHOA!"

Taria didn't feel any impact. In fact, she felt she was caught.

"You alright, kiddo?"

Taria's eyes shot open as she looked up.

There, she saw Jaune smiling up at her, filling her with the same fatherly warmth as before as Jaune placed her down. "You know, I really should write you up for that. You'd definitely get a detention from that, but I'm willing to look the other way due to today's lesson. Try not to jump down flights of stairs anymore. You're not a flying Faunus, Taria," Jaune said as he turned to walk away. He then stopped when he felt a pull on his jacket.

"Hm?" He looked back at Taria, who had her head down. "Something wrong, Ms. Balto?"

Taria looked nervous, her head down as she was fidgeting a bit. "M-Mr. Arc?"

"Yeah?"

"There's..." She looked up at him with frightened, nervous eyes. "There's something I need to tell you."

Jaune was sitting on a bench at the top of a building, Taria sitting next to him nervously. He was slumping, looking at the ground, eyes hidden by his hair.

Taria glanced at her father, not knowing what to say. She took a deep breath and threw caution to the wind. "Do you... Do you believe me?"

"Yeah. I believe you. What reason do you have to lie? Besides... I had a feeling. It's even worse when I actually use my Grimm senses on you."

"Eh?"

Jaune slightly turned his head towards her. Not enough for his eyes to be visible, but enough to emphasize he was looking at her. "The smell of your blood. Diluted it may be, it's still my scent... and HERS."

"You mean... my mother?"

". . . No."

The two were quiet for a bit.

"Are you... are you angry?"

"Angry? I'm furious," he chuckled out, making Taria scared.

She began to tear up. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to-"

"This is the second time my child has been kept a secret from me. The second time I was prevented from being a parent to my kid."

Taria looked at her father in shock and surprise. "H-Huh?"

Jaune sighed heavily as he leaned back on the bench, pushing his hair back. "I can't believe your mother did that. Had I known, I would have happily been your old man. Instead, she let you grow up around that jackass." Jaune then looked at Taria... with fatherly eyes and a warm smile on par with her mother's.

Taria then felt a wave of warm relief... when Jaune began to pat her head. "Sorry, kiddo. Guess I fail as a dad again, eh?"

Tears then began to fall from Taria's eyes. She tried to hold it back as much as she could, holding in as much as she could. When she couldn't handle it anymore, she hugged Jaune and began to sob, hugging her father for the very first time in her entire life.

Jaune was surprised at first before he gave a sympathetic smile and hugged her back. "I'm sorry. you deserved a better dad than me."

Taria shook her head violently. "NO! You're already... A MUCH BETTER FATHER THAN THAT BEAST EVER WAS!"

Jaune chuckled. "Not very hard to do, sweetheart."

After Taria got it out of her system, she began to speak with her father, asking what he did after Defense of Vytal Island, his adventures, and about Argent. He answered everything.

Then, as she was enjoying learning more about her father, she realized something. "Wait, you said I'm the SECOND time you were denied being a parent to your child."

Jaune jolted. "Oh, crap."

"Do I... have a younger sibling?"

Jaune sighed. "No... you have an older one."

"I WHAT?!"

Jaune sighed as he scratched his head. "You'd find out about him eventually anyway. Once Argent finds out you're his older sister, he'll start blabbing. And if he won't Lyra will. His name is Sparrow, the oldest of the three of you."

"Sparrow. Is he a-"

"No, he's not a Faunus. It just seems like his family has a thing for being named after birds," Jaune joked. "I mean, his uncle's name is Qrow, after all."

"Qrow? . . . Taria's eyes widened. "A-As in Qrow Branwen?"

"Uh-huh."

"If that's his uncle... then... does that mean... his mother..."

"Is Raven Branwen herself."

Taria jumped up in shock. "THE Raven Branwen?! The Chieftain of the Branwen Tribe, the most powerful bandit group in all of Anima?! The Most Dangerous Woman in the World?! The Spring Maiden?! THAT'S my stepmother?!"

Jaune chuckled. "Welcome to the Arc Family, Kiddo; the craziest family in all of Remnant."

Taria began to babble, unable to believe who she was now related to. She was proud to be a Balto, and knew her tribe was powerful, quite possibly the strongest in all of Sanus despite being on an island. Their fame reached all the way to Vacuo, after all, and that kingdom was where they stopped being the strongest, since a desert tribe was just as famous as they were. However, she knew very well that even the Baltos don't stand a chance against the Branwens.

"You shouldn't be surprised." She looked at her father. "Did you forget who my wife is," Jaune asked with a raised eyebrow. He then tapped on the legendary sword.

Taria's eyes widened. "Nimueh Arc, the Spirit of Destruction and one of the Four Relics. She's one of the only begins powerful enough to be considered a living goddess."

The sword began to glow, the sound of laughter coming from it. A bright light then flashed, making Taria hid her eyes. She was then surprised when she was hugged. "I LIKE this girl. Got all of my names right and even knows how to compliment a woman."

Taria looked up and blushed when she saw the beautiful face of her other stepmother. She had only seen pictures and videos of the beauty, but seeing her up close was something else entirely. "Beautiful."

Nimueh laughed softly as she turned towards Jaune. "She is DEFINITELY your kid."

"Yup. That she is," Jaune said as he stood up.

"You seriously screwed up, leaving her with that pathetic flea," Nimueh said with half-lidded eyes, still hugging the Faunus daughter of her husband.

"Hey, cut me some slack. I didn't know. This is Sparrow all over again."

"Excuses," Nimueh teased. "Well, anyway..." Nimueh bent down to look Taria in the eyes. "Welcome to the family, sweetie."

Her eyes widened. "You're... accepting me that quickly?"

"Why not? I always liked your mother, anyway. My type of spitfire. Besides, it's not like I can change the fact you're my husband's daughter. What's done is done." Nimueh then saw the look of shock on Taria's face. "What? Did you think I'd be some angry, spiteful bitch or something," Nimueh asked with a raised eyebrow and hand on her hip.

"N-NO! I wasn't thinking that at all!" Taria then remembered the women Steele brought to their manor whenever her mother was out on diplomacy meetings, hunts, or missions. "Or, maybe a little bit."

Nimueh sighed. "Sweetie, I didn't always have a body. In fact, I never thought I'd ever be with Jaune. I long accepted the thought of him falling for another woman and having a pup here and there. Besides, Arie isn't my kid, but I love him as if he were." She then began to lovingly pat Taria's had, her ears dropping in both embarrassment... and contentment. "You're my husband's daughter. And if he accepts you, then so do I."

Taria gave a beautiful, beaming smile; beautiful tears of joy flowing down her cheeks. "Thank you."

Nimueh smiled as she stood up. "But you realize I'm telling everyone else about this, right? ESPECIALLY Blake."

"Wha-!? WHY?!"

"To see her reaction to you having a Faunus daughter... that you DIDN'T raise."

"SHE'LL BE ANGRIER THAN WHEN YANG FOUND OUT ABOUT SPARROW!"

"Then this will be fun," Nimueh said with a mischievous smile.

Jaune slumped down with a depressed and defeated aura over his head. "I thought you loved me."

"I do. That's what makes messing with you so much fun." Nimueh and Taria then laughed, while Jaune felt death looming over him.

Months later, during winter break, most of the students decided to return home to spend time with their family. This included Argent and Lyra and a special guest, Taria.

Taria was shocked with how excited Argent was when he was told they were siblings by their father, but dejected... when Taria found out he lost a bet to Lyra. She even had to hold in her laughter as she watched Argent give his girlfriend his dessert and shoulder massages for a week.

She was now at the Arc Manor, along with someone who surprised her, her mother.

The mother and daughter met Team RWBY, the rest of JNR, and their families for the first time. The others thought they were just friends of Jaune and Argent until they, along with Nimueh, described the situation. Both mother and daughter were surprised with how understanding the families were... buuuut-

"YOU DEADBEAT," Blake roared as she chased Jaune around the snow-covered yard.

"I DIDN'T KNOW! I DIDN'T KNOW! I DIDN'T KNOW," he pleaded as he avoided her bullets and slashes.

"LAME EXCUSE! HOW COULD YOU LEAVE BEHIND YOUR DAUGHTER LIKE THAT!?"

"HOW COME YOU WEREN'T THIS ANGRY WHEN YOU FOUND OUT ABOUT SPARROW?!"

"BECAUSE YANG HAD THE RIGHT TO BE ANGRY ABOUT THAT! I HAVE THE RIGHT TO BE ANGRY ABOUT YOU ABANDONING YOUR FAUNUS DAUGHTER!"

"Actually, that was a great reminder," Yang said as she got up. "Save some for me, honey," Yang called before cocking her gauntlets. "THIS IS FOR GIVING ME A LITTLE BROTHER WITHOUT LETTING ME KNOW, 'DAD'," Yang roared as she joined the chase after Jaune.

"DON'T CALL ME THAT!"

Everyone laughed at the sight of the King of Grimm running from two angry moms, all because two of his kids were kept a secret from him.

"You know, you're all taking this better than I thought you would. I thought you'd be angrier with me," Murua said.

"Oh, don't worry. I'm plenty pissed," Ruby said, making Murua shiver. "But it's more fun to take it out on Jaune. He can take it, being the Strongest Man in the World, and all."

"THAT'S DISCRIMINATION!"

"YOU CAN TAKE IT, BABE," Ruby called.

"DON'T CALL ME THAT!"

"Seriously, don't call him that," Nimueh deadpanned. "I'M married to him."

Ruby stuck her tongue out before looking back at Murua. "Well, save for Weiss, we're basically the Moms of Arc. We might as well stick together, right? Everyone at this table, again save for Weiss-"

"Thank you for clarifying that, honey," Weiss said.

"No problem. We all loved Jaune. And, save for Weiss and Nimueh, we all gave birth to his kids."

"Hey," Nimueh went.

"What? It's true. So, since we're part of that club, we might as well stick together. As far as I'm concerned, you're part of my family just as much as you're part of Jaune's."

Murua smiled. "Thank you, Mrs. Schnee-Rose."

"And I already like you for getting my name right. Besides..." Ruby used her Semblance.

"WHOA!"

The table looked to see Ruby rubbing her cheek against Taria's in a bear hug, the Faunus holding a snowball in her hand. "Taria is just so freaking cute! How can we NOT accept someone this adorable into the family?!"

"Um, Mrs. Ruby, you might regret that later," Taria said as Ruby was still hugging her and rubbing against her.

"Why," Ruby asked. "Bleargh," she went after getting a face full of snow.

"That's why."

"HAH! TAKE THAT, MOM," Argent cheered.

Ruby brushed the snow off her face. "Oh, it's on, kiddo," she said with a challenging smirk as she scooped up more snow.

"Bring it! I won against even dad at th-" Argent then got hit by a snowball in mid-sentence.

"Gotcha," Lyra went.

"Oh, you're gonna get it, Ly- WHOA," Argent went as he dodged a snowball.

"Not bad, Arie," Verde went.

"Let's see if you can avoid these," Silber said as she was tossing and catching a snowball, a pile of them next to her.

"Whoa, whoa, WHOA! This is ganging! THIS IS GANGING!"

"You're an Arc. You can take it," Silber said.

Verde then appeared next to Taria and yanked her from her aunt. "Come on, Taria. You and me for Faunus Supremacy. We can take 'em."

"Well, I do have an advantage in the snow."

"That's the spirit." Verde was then hit in the face by a snowball.

"Bow before the Rens," Nora yelled out as Lyra cheered next to her mom.

Before they knew it, most of the family was engaged in a snowball fight, Argent at a disadvantage... until his dad came in riding on a Sabyr and grabbed him. "COMIN' THROUGH!"

"GET BACK HERE, ARC," Blake yelled.

"WE'RE NOT DONE WITH YOU YET," Yang yelled.

"TOO BAD," Jaune and Argent called while laughing.

All in all, it was a pretty good winter break.

It was Spring Break for Beacon. Argent was napping in his back yard, enjoying the warmth of the sun, the smell of the flowers, the gentle breeze, and most of all... the softness of his Alpha Beowolf's fur.

The beast was lying down, letting Argent sleep on its muscular body, watching out for danger. Its ears perked up when it heard growling and howling. It looked to see Beowolves fighting against... Aura Wolves.

Argent rolled to his side, snuggling up against the once feared Creature of Grimm. The Beowolf looked at him, licked its lips, then played down; letting its master enjoy his nap.

As Argent was napping, the Beowolves were fighting the Aura Wolves. It looked to be evenly matched before the Beowolves began to gain the upper hand. However, when they looked like they were winning, the Aura Wolves changed their strategy and ganged up on individual Beowolves, bringing the battle into their favor.

Then, as both sides were brought down to half, a clap was heard, both sides stopping their battle.

The Aura Wolves began to vanish until all that was left was Taria, sitting seiza style, eyes closed in concentration before she let out a relieved sigh. She then stood up, patting the dirt off of her knees.

"Well done, Taria." She looked up to see Jaune walk past the Beowolves, hands on his pockets. "You changed your strategy when you saw your forces were diminishing, changing the tide to a more favorable outcome. Thought processes like that will save many lives and proves your worth as both a Huntsman and a leader."

Taria smiled happily. "Thank you, father."

Jaune chuckled. "You've come pretty far in this past week alone. Kinda surprised you wanted to spend your week off with me instead of your mom."

"My mother thought it would be best to learn from my father, and she was right. Or maybe you just don't want to spend time with your daughter," she asked with a sly smile.

"You're definitely an Arc with an attitude like that." The father and daughter laughed at that small banter.

"FOUND YOU!"

"Eh," Jaune went as he looked towards the forest.

Out of it came a disheveled Faunus with a beard and hair longer than Jaune's and certainly MUCH dirtier, especially compared to the clean hero. He had horrible bags under his eyes, his tired blue eyes bloodshot, and looked like he hadn't eaten in days. Jaune also noticed that he had a wolf tail, meaning he was a Faunus. The man had a horrible odor that forced Taria to cover her nose, a nearly empty beer bottle, and what looked like a spear in his other hand.

". . . Do I know you?"

The Faunus snarled at Jaune. "YOU DON'T EVEN RECOGNIZE ME?!"

Taria raised an eyebrow, thinking the man's voice was familiar somehow.

"Should I?"

The man pointed his spear at Jaune. "YOU RUINED EVERYTHING FOR ME, ARC! YOU AND YOUR BITCH DAUGHTER!"

Jaune's eyebrow twitched, his remaining Beowolves growling and snarling at the man. "Insult my daughter one more time."

"FUCK YOU! IF YOU HADN'T KNOCKED MURUA UP, I'D STILL HAVE MY DAMN LIFE!"

Taria's eyes widened. "Steele?!"

"YEAH! RECOGNIZE ME NOW, YOU LITTLE SHIT?!"

Jaune's eyes widened. "Steele? Steele Balto? The jackass? By the gods, what happened to you?"

"YOU HAPPENED!" Jaune pointed to himself in confusion. "I LOST EVERYTHING BECAUSE OF YOU! BECAUSE OF YOUR LITTLE BITCH!"

"Oh, please. You were kicked out because I told my mother the truth about you cheating on her."

"AND YOUR WHORE MOTHER CHEATED ON ME FIRST!" He was sent flying from a Wind Slash, slamming into a tree.

"I was being patient because I was curious about you, but you insulted my daughter WAY too many times. Insulting Murua is another great way to piss me off."

Steele coughed as he struggled to get back up. "FUCK YOU! SHE CHEATED ON ME WITH YOU!"

"She wasn't married to you yet when we did it."

"I DON'T GIVE A DAMN! SHE WAS BETROTHED ME, YET SHE SLEPT WITH ANOTHER GUY, AN OUTSIDER AT THAT, AND WORST, A HUMAN BEFORE OUR MARRIAGE!?"

"And I'm glad she did. The thought of you being my father sickens me. You were scum, Steele. Simple as that. Why do you think no one defended you after it was revealed you cheated on my mother? People jumped at the chance to expel you and instate my mother as the Clan Chief."

"It shouldn't have been like that! They should have sided with me the moment it was revealed you were a bastard," Steele said as he stumbled to his feet. "Instead, they were overjoyed... BECAUSE YOUR FATHER IS THE DAMNED VALE KNIGHT! I BET IF HE WAS JUST SOME NOBODY, I'D JUST GET A SLAP ON THE WRIST WHILE YOUR MOTHER WOULD HAVE BEEN DRIVEN OUT AS THE WHORE SHE WAS!"

"Yeah, highly doubt that," Jaune and Taria said in unison as they literally waved Steele's words away.

He was now seething in rage. "If it wasn't for you, if you were just a nobody, if you NEVER knocked her up with that brat, I'D STILL HAVE MY DAMN LIFE! IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT, ARC," he screeched as he threw his spear.

His eyes widened when Jaune easily caught it between his fingers before crushing it to dust. "That all you got," Jaune asked with a raised eyebrow.

Steele stared at Jaune in astonishment before he became enraged again. "DAMN YOU," he roared as he ran at Jaune on all fours.

As soon as he lunged at Jaune, the hero prepared to punch him in the face.

However, Steele was instead struck in the face with a large rock. He spun around before slamming onto the ground, HARD. His Aura shattered as foam was flowing out of his mouth, eyes rolled back, totally unconscious.

Father and daughter looked down at the fool in surprise, blinking twice before looking behind them.

There, a sleepy Argent had his arm outstretched before he rubbed his eye. "You're too loud," he yawned out.

"Sorry about that," the two went to the youngest among them.

Argent just yawned before he snuggled up to his Beowolf, continuing his nap.

Jaune and Taria blinked at him before looking at each other. The two them smiled, giggling at the actions of the young man.

"I love my family," Taria said.

"Glad to hear. . . Wanna help me tie the jackass up and string him upside down before calling the cops?"

"Love to."

A/N: And that ends the first special of King of Grimm. What did you guys think? Do you like Taria? Do you think she should be introduced sooner rather than just be a figure in the future? Remember, this special may or may not be canon to the actual story. I just hoped you guys enjoyed it. Be sure to leave a review. Until next time.
