A/N: I wanted to post the fiftieth comment for fun, just because 50 feels special, you know? And lo and behold, tis a glorious comment: I'd just like to say: YEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSS! I KNEW IIIIIIIITTTTT! Question is though, is she the only child of Neo and Jaune or are there more? like triplets or something. Regardless though, i am VERY THANKFUL for this _ I cant wait for Anita to reveal her true identity to jaune and oh my gosh, the ass kicking he's gonna get from everyone AGAIN XD
I gotta say, I LOVE comments like this. So much energy and joy. You can really tell they're having fun. . . But triplets? Man, someone loves Silent Knight. Can't blame you. Ship has a lot of potential. Sorry to say that Anita is indeed an only child. Hey, at least Jaune x Neo has a beautiful girl together.
Winter and Qrow were sleeping in their beds, Winter using Qrow's pec as her pillow when the alarms blared.
"The hell," Qrow went.
"A Code Red?" Winter got out and immediately got dressed as quickly as Qrow did as the two rushed out of their room.
Ruby and Weiss were sleeping back-to-back when the alarm went off, the wives immediately jumped out of their bed to grab their clothes and weapons, running out of their room.
Argent was sleeping peacefully when the alarm went off, surprising him awake. "What the heck is that?!"
"A Code Red." Argent looked and was surprised to see Elm with such a serious expression. He didn't even hesitate to get out of bed so Elm could jump out and quickly get dressed. Marrow was also getting dressed just as quickly as the Ace Ops grabbed their weapons. They were about to leave before Elm turned back and looked at Argent. "Don't leave this room for any reason, save for the room being attacked. If you have to defend yourself, do it, but do NOT leave this tower without permission or orders from an Ace Op or from the General herself. Understand?"
"Wha- But I can he-"
"Do you understand?"
Argent saw no room for argument in Elm's tone or eyes. He just sighed as he looked down. "Understood, ma'am."
Elm nodded before she smiled. "We'll be back before you know it, sweetie. Stay safe." She then closed the door behind her.
Argent looked down before he looked towards... Crocea Mors.
Elm and Marrow were running down the halls until they spotted someone. "Har!"
She looked toward her teammates. "Good to see you two are keeping up for once."
"Any idea what's going on," Marrow asked as the three ran towards the Surveillance Room.
"I've been getting quick reports. I don't have the full details quite yet, but apparently, it's bad enough to instigate the Titan Program."
The Ace Ops looked shocked.
"That program was only supposed to be used against Leviathan Level threats at minimum. Is it that bad," Marrow asked.
"Jaune's already intercepting the threat." That answered the Ace Op's question.
"How many of the Titans are being deployed," Elm asked.
"I didn't get any reports on that. Just hurry. Elm and I are members of the program, so we need to be ready if we're being deployed."
"Right," the two said as they rushed with the Ace Op leader.
Winter burst into the Surveillance Room. "Status report. Now!"
"General Schnee, ma'am," a technician went as they ran up and saluted the powerful woman.
"What the hell," Qrow went.
Winter looked at her husband before following his gaze up towards the screen, her eyes widening. "By the gods. What is that thing?"
"Ma'am, Sir Arc has dubbed the Grimm an Elder King Ice Dragon."
"That's a damned Ice Dragon?! That thing is big enough to eat Salem's whale whole," Qrow yelled.
"Where is Huntsman Arc," Winter yelled.
"WHOA!"
She looked at the screen, her eyes widening in horror when she saw Jaune's Neverflame barely avoid the Ice Dragon's beam, the attack creating large glaciers as it chased after the screeching bird, the hero seen on its back. "HE'S FIGHTING THAT THING ALONE?! OF ALL THE IDIOTIC, PIG-HEADED, SUICIDAL ACTIONS THAT BOOB COULD HAVE TAKEN! PREPARE MY MANTA! I'M GOING AFTER HIM!"
"I'm sorry, ma'am, but that would be a direct refusal of Sir Arc's orders."
"What?!"
"He gave distinct orders to quote: Not let anyone named Schnee anywhere near there, I don't care what Winter says. End quote."
"I am the General of the New Mantle Military force!"
"I understand, ma'am, but Sir Arc is an International 1st Class Huntsman. He's the only man in the world who can challenge your authority, especially in this situation."
"And worse, I can't blame him."
Winter looked behind her in shock. "QROW!"
"He has a point, Winter. You're the leader of New Mantle."
"One! I am ONE of the leaders of New Mantle! And it is my job to protect MY kingdom from threats like that, not to sit back and let some superhero do it on his own LIKE HE ALWAYS FUCKING DOES!"
"I DON'T ALWAYS DO THIS!"
Winter glared at the screen. "YOU HAD A BODY CAM ON YOU THIS ENTIRE TIME?! WHY WASN'T I INFORMED," she yelled at the technician.
"Sorry, ma'am," he said sheepishly.
Winter then slammed her hands on the console. "You have some nerve, Arc! How dare you undermine my authority?!"
"You think I'm going to let you put your life in danger?!"
"That isn't for you to decide!"
"You're too important, Winter!"
"And you're not?!"
"I'm not the Winter Maiden, nor am I the leader of the New Mantle military! If I lose here, someone needs to be ready to protect and evacuate New Mantle!"
Winter gritted her teeth. "DAMN YOU! FINE! BUT YOU STILL NEED HELP!"
"Then tell me you authorized the Titan Protocol!"
Winter typed away at the console she was at. "Permission granted!"
"When Dante started this crazy program ten years ago, he only had one made that resembled Cordovine's. How many do you guys have now?!"
"In working order and past the inspection and testing phase? . . . A dozen."
"YOU HAVE TWELVE GIANT FREAKING ROBOTS?!"
"Indeed. Just in case another Grimm invasion on par with Salem's fifteen years ago ever occurred, no matter how small the chance, we'd be ready."
"How many are you sending?"
Winter looked up. "All of them." She then turned towards her husband and nodded her head. Qrow nodded back before running towards the deployment hull.
Harriet looked at her scroll to see the Authorization Code. She looked over towards Elm, who was standing by her Titan, and nodded in confirmation. Elm nodded back before entering her Titan. Harriet entered hers as well. As well as Flint, Neon, May, Joanna, Qrow who reverted back in front of his robot's entrance, and a severely pissed off Ruby. The other pilots entered their robots as well, with Marrow and Weiss watching them deploy.
"At times like this, I wish I hadn't failed the program," Marrow said.
"New Mantle needs protecting as well, Marrow. We don't know what kind of threats might attack here."
"I know, but this seems insane, even compared to the Death of Atlas."
Weiss looked down before she looked to see the Titans deploy. "Come back to me safely, you dolt."
"Jaune, it took you about an hour to get to that monster, correct," Winter asked.
"A little bit over, but yeah."
"Then it should take the Titans about ten minutes to reach your destination. Stay alive until-"
The Ice Dragon then roared with such a volume that even the technicians and Winter within the room covered their ears. "By the gods."
"Winter, you said their ETA was ten minutes?"
"I did. Why?"
"Because I seriously doubt I have ten minutes."
Winter looked at the screen, her eyes widening again.
Around the Elder King Ice Dragon, many more Ice Dragons popped out of the ice. If that wasn't enough, countless Grimm flew into the sky: Manticores, Nevermores, Razorwings, Teryxes, and Sphinxes covered the sky in mere moments, turning the area blacker than the night sky before it.
It was an entire army of Grimm. With its forces at its beck and call, the Dragon roared at Jaune once more, as if challenging him once more.
Neverflame screeched back as Jaune further charged Nimueh.
"Bring it."
Neverflame was blasting Grimm out of the sky, its burning screeches and flaming flaps sending burning Grimm crashing into the glaciers. Jaune was using a combination of magic and Nimueh to take out the Grimm trying to attack Neverflame from behind. When he thought he saw an opening, he sent an Aura Blast into the side of the King Ice Dragon. Though it did hit, all Jaune saw was a chunk of the monster's icy armor fall off. Though, the fact that it roared at Jaune in anger proved to the hero he at least hurt the beast.
He was about to charge up another blast.
'Jaune, enough,' Nimueh yelled.
'What?! Why?!'
'Maybe you haven't noticed, but you've been pumping me full of your Aura without leaving any for yourself! You're probably in the orange by now!'
Jaune quickly looked at his wrist, seeing the Aura Meter on his gauntlet. 'Dammit, you're right! Why are we having so much trouble,' Jaune thought as he slashed a Teryx in half. 'We've taken down legions of Grimm before! Hell, we took down two Nightmares and an actual pod of Leviathans!'
'Most of those times, you had backup!' Jaune jolted. 'Ren was with us when we took down the Nightmares, and we had a Silver-Eyed Warrior against the Leviathan pod!'
'I owe a lot to Ren and Platina. Still, I have you.'
'We've never had to take down an entire Grimm army on our own. True, I could get rid of a huge portion of them, but the only way I could do that would be if you filled me with your remaining Aura.' Jaune grabbed Nimueh with both hands. 'DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!'
'I can handle this without Aura!'
'Like hell, you can! Just try to survive until the Titans- LOOK OUT!'
Jaune looked up, only to be tackled off of Neverflame by a Manticore, dropping Nimueh in the process. Neverflame screeched in surprise and anger as Nimueh turned human, the beauty flying next to the flaming Grimm. "JAUNE," she called out as she was about to go after him, only to be surrounded by flocks of Grimm, taking her sight off of Jaune.
Her eyes flashed in rage as she reverted back into her Spirit Form. "OUT OF MY WAY!"
Jaune was keeping the Manticore's jaw open, preventing the beast from biting his face off. He then looked behind him to see they were falling towards the sharp tips of the glaciers. Jaune knew that he wouldn't have enough Aura to survive that. That it would definitely impale him straight through.
He then heard the sound of the Manticore charging its breath and shutting the beast's mouth closed. He then took a gamble and placed his hand on the beast's forehead, attempting to Conquer it. He and the beast roared as they tried to overpower the other for dominance before Jaune and the Grimm vanished behind the glaciers.
A Razorwing flew in front of the glacier where Jaune vanished, squawking as it just flapped its wings.
Then, the glacier in front of the Grimm turned red. It was surprised when a massive fireball rushed past it. When it looked towards the exit blast, its head was bitten right off.
Jaune roared as he punched another Razorwing straight in the face with enough force to send it spiraling through more Grimm, killing them in the process. As Jaune rode his Manticore through the skies, an ice beam narrowly avoided his head. He looked down to see packs of Ice Dragons shooting beams at Jaune. He then patted the back of the Manticore's head, making it fly farther into the sky with a roar.
As Jaune got out of the range of the ice beams, he felt like he was being watched and looked to see the eye of the Elder King Ice Dragon. "Oh, boy."
The massive worm roared before it slammed its ginormous head against Jaune and the Manticore, killing the smaller Grimm instantly while sending Jaune flying, his Aura shattering.
The blow of the monster was enough to render Jaune unconscious, the man falling to what would have certainly been his death. However, as he fell, Nimueh caught him in her arms as she flew back to Neverflame, placing the hero on the fiery bird's back.
"Jaune! JAUNE! WAKE UP, DAMN YOU," she pleaded as she shook the man, tears in her eyes.
Jaune groaned as he opened his eyes, relief filling Nimueh. Sadly, that relief was short lived after she got hit by a Manticore Blast, the fireball depleteing the last of her Aura. She then reverted back into a sword, the blade appearing back in her sheath. "DAMMIT," Jaune went.
Jaune tried to get up, hissing in pain as he rubbed his head. "Damn, that thing hits hard. It shattered my Aura completely," he said as he sat up.
'It did WHAT,' Winter yelled through the camera. 'ARC, GET OUT OF THERE, NOW!'
"Sorry, Winter, but I don't think that's a possibility right now. We're kinda surrounded," Jaune said as he blasted a charging Teryx out of the sky, Neverflame ripping a Manticore in half. "These guys aren't exactly going to let me through."
'You're the goddamn Grimm King! Can't you do something?!'
"No. These Grimm... there's something up with them. I tried to Conquer a Manticore a while ago, and it was almost as hard as trying to Conquer a Wendigo. I don't think I can Conquer any of the bigger Grimm." Jaune looked up towards the King Ice Dragon. "Let alone Monstro, there."
'So you need backup, is that what I'm hearin', hero?'
Jaune's eyes widened. "That voice."
'Hope you got good taste in tunes.'
An incredibly loud blare occurred. With it, waves of Grimm were sent flying. Jaune looked to see a robot as big as Cordovin's, if not bigger, lower a trumpet. "'Sup, Arc."
Jaune chuckled. "Long time, no see, Flynt."
'Pretty gutsy to take on that big sucker, Arc. Stupid, but gutsy. I dig it.' He then blared the horn to take out more Grimm before aiming it at the King Ice Dragon. He then blasted at the beast.
However, after his attack, the monster looked down at him, looking more annoyed than hurt. 'Uh-oh.'
"FLYNT, GET OUT OF THERE," Jaune yelled as the Dragon prepared an ice breath.
Yet, when it fired, another Titan sped by and grabbed Flynt's Titan, narrowly avoiding the ice beam. 'Never miss a beat!'
Flynt laughed. 'Ya always did have skill, baby!'
'Not about to let a giant worm take out my husband,' Neon yelled as she got Flynt to safety.
The King looked annoyed as it was about to chase after Neon and Flynt, only to feel it getting hit from the side. It looked to see a red Titan shooting at it with a sniper rifle as other Titans ran towards it.
'Remind me to slap your face off when we get back to base,' Ruby yelled as she continued firing at the giant Grimm.
Jaune chuckled. "Glad you're here, too, Rubes."
Ruby blushed angrily before she scoffed. "You'd better be, hero."
Jaune then looked at Nimueh, who nodded before the two looked back up at the now roaring monster.
"Round two, fish bait."
The Titans were rushing towards the King Ice Dragon, firing their guns and weapons at the now roaring monster. One Titan even lunged towards the monster, massive hammer in hand, and slammed the great weapon onto what had to be the monster's lower jaw. Despite the Titan looking like a regular human attacking a standard-sized Ice Dragon, which is honestly as large as the Titans themselves, the robot was still able to send the Dragon's head flying away, the monster roaring back in anger.
"That's definitely Elm," Jaune chuckled.
'You know me well,' Elm yelled before she had her hammer turn into a rocket launcher, firing at the Grimm.
When the rockets hit, the monster looked down before growling at Elm.
'Not a scratch?! That ice armor is tough!'
'Can't be that tough if you were able to damage it with your hammer,' Joanna said.
The King then roared.
After the roar was done, screaming was heard through the comms. Jaune looked down to see one of the Titans being dragged down by packs of Ice Dragons wrapping around them, the Titans struggling to get out before being dragged under the ice and exploding.
'It can control other Grimm,' May yelled in shock.
'I thought only the Hound could do that,' Ruby yelled.
"Not true. Remember how the Leviathan had swarms of Grimm flying around it? Large and powerful Grimm can control other smaller and weaker Grimm," Jaune explained.
'Great. So we have to deal with the Big Man and his goons,' Qrow asked as he slashed various Ice Dragons with his scythe before rapidly turning it into a shotgun to take out a flock of Razorwings.
'It's getting worse,' another Titan operative said.
"Care to explain, Mr. Ikari," Jaune asked as he looked towards a Titan shooting down Sphinxes.
'My scanners show that there are Grimm heading towards New Mantle! A lot of them!'
"You get that, Winter," Jaune called.
"I'm already setting perimeters," she said as she typed on a computer.
Her scroll rang, the woman putting it on speaker. "Report."
'Winter, it's Robyn. Evac was successful. All New Mantle citizens are ready to be transported if necessary.'
"Great job, Robyn. We got reports that Grimm are headed our way. The exact amount is currently-"
"Ma'am! We have visual!"
Winter looked up at the screen. "Is that... I thought only Salem could make that thing."
'What is it? Talk to me, Winter,' Jaune went.
"It's... the whale Grimm from fifteen years ago."
'WHAT?!'
Winter's eyes steeled before looking down at her scroll. "Robyn? Are you ready to get into the robot?"
'Heh. Thought you'd never ask.'
"Ikari, head back to New Mantle! Take out as much Grimm as you can," Jaune went.
'But sir, do you think you can-'
"THAT'S AN ORDER!"
'SIR!' Ikari's Titan then ran off, his gun turning into a sword that slashed an Ice Dragon down the middle.
'Since when were you the leader,' Ruby asked.
"Since I was the highest-ranked Huntsman in the area."
'Urk.'
"Ruby, by chance, does your Titan have any Silver Dust rounds?"
'We haven't been able to produce a lot of that,' Flynt said.
'But every Titan has at least one cartridge of Silver Dust,' Neon said. 'It's a last resort!'
"Ruby, fire a Silver Dust round at the King when you see an opening. I'm going to try and piss it off enough to give you an opening."
'You're going to WHAT?! Jaune, you're a Grimm now! Silver Dust could kill you, especially a bullet the size of a damned Manta filled to the brim with it!'
"Then I'd better make sure not to be in range! I'm going to try and make it angry enough to roar! Shoot the bullet down that massive bastard's bottomless gullet!"
'Kid, this is insane, even for you,' Qrow yelled.
"Better than letting that thing reach New Mantle. Now enough arguing! We need to deal with this guy no- ARUGH!"
'Jaune?! JAUNE! WHAT'S GOING ON,' Ruby yelled.
Jaune got tackled from behind. He looked back to see a Grimm he had never seen before. It was huge, looked a bit like a Beringel yet somehow more vicious, was covered in white fur, and was as cold as Solitas. The Grimm slammed itself and Jaune onto the body of the Elder King Ice Dragon.
Jaune groaned as he got up, hissing in pain as the cold of the Ice Dragon stung his now exposed hand. He then took a breath to calm himself and try to use his magic to make him more resistant, the act working somewhat. Jaune then stood up and looked toward his assailant.
The Grimm was easily twice the height of a standard Beringel, looked even more muscular, and had far more vicious-looking fangs. It looked down at Jaune before it roared at him, the volume of the act making the King Ice Dragon roar as well, more ice growing on the worm's body. Jaune even moved his shoulder to avoid it being impaled by a spike, not taking his eyes off the icy monster.
"You're a new one," Jaune said as he reached for Nimueh, only to wince in surprised pain and looked at his now smoking palm. "Right. Without Aura, I can't even touch Nimueh. Alright, then," Jaune said as he cracked his knuckles. "Yang says I don't practice enough martial arts anyway, and you'd be a good practice dummy for both that and magic," Jaune said as he took his stance. "Bring it on, you abominable snow ape."
The Grimm roared as if accepting Jaune's challenge before charging at him. Jaune also charged, beginning his fight with this new and powerful-looking Grimm with just his bare hands and magic.
Meanwhile, the Monstra was beginning to reach New Mantle when an arrow stuck into its snout, making it roar in pain. It flew to the side to see what attacked it, seeing a Titan aiming a crossbow at it.
"Yo," Robyn said in the cockpit. "Last time you attacked my home, I was in jail and never got a chance to see you. This time, I get to take you out personally." She then fired another giant arrow at the Grimm, the crossbow reloading automatically.
Robyn got surprised when the Grimm smacked the arrow away with its tail, the giant ammunition stabbing into a mountain. "Quicker than you look, huh?"
The Monstra then roared, opening its massive mouth, unleashing flocks of Grimm that further darkened the sky.
"COME ON! I'M HERE TO DEFEND MY HOME THIS TIME! NEW MANTLE WON'T FALL LIKE ATLAS DID!"
As roaring Grimm rushed at Robyn, she got a surprise when she saw them blasted out of the air. She pulled up a screen to see that New Mantle soldiers were already guarding the wall, blasting away Grimm.
She smirked at the backup. "FOR NEW MANTLE," she roared as she raised Titan's arm.
Even inside the Titan, she could hear the battle cries of the soldiers, unbelievably proud to be fighting alongside her people.
"This is nothing like fifteen years ago. This time, we're united! This time, our people won't lose! This time, OUT HOME WON'T FALL," she yelled out as she aimed her crossbow at the now angry-looking Monstra.
It was now absolutely full-on war.
Deep in the far-off reaches of space, a dark entity was looking down into a portal, watching the war of the Grimm against New Mantle. The figure was looking over the kingdom before waving his hand, the image shifting to within Atlas Tower.
"Brother." The being looked back to see a bright entity. "What are you doing?"
"Nothing that concerns you," the God of Darkness said as he looked back at the portal.
"Is that not Remnant? Did we not say we would not intervene with that world until humanity became one and proved worthy of us?"
"I'm not influencing humans. I'm influencing my Grimm."
"Why?"
"What does it matter what I do with MY creations?"
"Then answer me this: why send them after one specific human?"
"Hmph, so you could tell, could you?"
"You've been creating new creatures. Making them evolve at a rate faster than before. And you seem to always be sending them towards one man in particular. What makes one human so special?"
"Other than the fact that he's the blood descendant of the human who raised her hand against us? Who committed the ultimate blasphemy against us by breaking her curse and slaying her before she could repent?"
"He has indeed committed heresy against us, but I have long forgiven him."
"WELL, I HAVE NOT! Even now, he commits heresy against me. It is MY power he wields now. MY gifts... that he has the gale to call a curse. He fears his power. MY power. And yet he wishes to use it to defend his people. To defend the planet. As if he believes he knows how to command the Grimm better than I. And worst yet... the people praise and worship him. Naming him Hero, Champion, Protector... even King. King of the Grimm. Of MY Creatures of Grimm." Darkness raised his hand over the portal. "I'm just giving the mortals the privilege of seeing the work of the TRUE Ruler of Grimm."
Through the power and influence of the God of Darkness, a new species of Grimm was created atop the Monstra, just as the whale used its tail to smack away another one of Robyn's massive arrows. And this Grimm... was but a fly.
This insect Grimm then flew away, past the blasting ships and right past Robyn's Titan, and into New Mantle. It flew until it reached Atlas Tower. When it entered the building, two soldiers were running towards it. The fly landed on one soldier and bit into the victim's neck.
"Aah," he hissed.
"What is it?"
"Something bit me."
"Really? This isn't the time to complain about a mosquito bite."
"Yeah. You're right. We got a war to win."
The soldier nodded as he turned, only to stop when he heard coughing. He looked back to see his fellow soldier fall to his knees as he coughed even more violently. "Hey, what's going on," he asked as he ran up and knelt down next to him.
The soldier then vomited a black substance.
"By the gods! This isn't normal! We need to get you to the med bay!"
"I-It hurts." He vomited again.
"Power through it. Come on. Get up. We can reach it before-"
The man then screamed in agony before vomiting so much that he actually began to lose weight.
"HOLY-! HEY! WHAT'S GOING ON?!" When the soldier stopped vomiting, he looked so thin that his armor barely fit him, one of his gloves actually slipping off. He then fell into the black liquid, unmoving.
"My god." The soldier then reached for his comm. "This is Private Fodder of Platoon 651! We need medical attention on floor 220," the soldier frantically said.
'Soldier, we're at war. This isn't the time-'
"I KNOW WE'RE AT WAR, BUT A SOLDIER JUST RANDOMLY GOT SICK AND LITERALLY VOMITED TO DEATH HERE," he yelled, not knowing the soldier's corpse sunk into the liquid.
'What?'
"I need researchers on this floor! Something made one of our own sick enough to die in less than a minute! He vomited liquid that looked like Grimm Pool Water!"
'Can you confirm that?!'
"I'M STANDING RIGHT BEHIND IT! JUST SEND SOMEONE DOWN HERE AND SEE IF THEY... can-," the soldier trailed off after looking back behind him. Before him was a black body. He then slowly looked up to see something he had only seen in a modern history book and in documents.
In front of the soldier was a Hound.
'Private Fodder? Private Fodder, respond!'
The man then gagged after he was grabbed by the throat. His choking could be heard through the comms.
'PRIVATE FODDER!'
The gagging was then replaced by a sickening, wet crunch, the sound of water spilling being heard.
The responder then slammed her hand on a red button. "RED ALERT! HOSTILE CONFIRMED WITHIN THE TOWER! REPEAT, ATLAS TOWER HAS BEEN COMPROMISED! EXECUTE EXTREME CAUTION! LETHAL FORCE AUTHORIZED!"
"WHAT," Winter went as she looked at the dispatcher.
"It's true, General. Something's in the Tower. The soldier said it was on Floor 220."
"BRING UP A FEED! NOW!"
A screen then showed floor 220 before flashing between cameras to try and find the intruder. The third camera found it.
Winter's eyes widened. "First the Monstra, now the Hound? How is this possible? Salem's dead. How are her creations appearing again?" Winter's eyes were then filled with horror. "No. No, no, no, NO," she screamed as she slammed her fists on a nearby computer console. "WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU THERE?!"
The Hound dropped its victim, its ear perking up as it turned its head.
"Okay, that was terrifying," Argent said. He then took his favorite stance, shield up front and sword positioned. It was the first stance his dad ever taught him. In honor of her, the Arcs called it the Nikos Stance. "Something tells me I shouldn't let you roam freely, you ugly mutt."
The Hound turned and stomped towards Argent. It stopped when it was just a foot away from the boy, looking down as it towered over him, literally shadowing the boy. It then roared down at him, as if accepting the ten-year-old's challenge.
"Ooookayyy. This won't be easy," Argent said, honestly a bit nervous. He then gulped, closed his eyes, took a deep breath to calm himself... then looked at the massive Grimm, his silver eyes shining with confident bravery.
"Bring it."
A/N: And so begins my first war in this fan fic. This was honestly a blast to write, and it gets even crazier here on end. I told you before, PREPARE FOR WAR!
Also, let's have some fun. How many references did you guys spot? Here's a fun fact: I sometimes make references by accident, and my friends point them out. Did I make the reference you spotted on purpose or was it a nice ol' Bob Ross happy little accident? Leave a review and find out.
Until next time!
