Quill leans back into the couch and swings an arm over the back before he starts talking, "Before the start of everything, there was a place called the Quarry of Creation and that is where The First lived. This entity was or.. is the origin of everything in the universe. You, me, this taco, the pizza the Bug-Kid is eating. Everything. He, as in The First, is the Infinity Stones, the Original Stones, the Original Six. Now, the Legend is that after a few million years, He got bored and he decided to split the 6 cores of himself, which are Power, Space, Time, Reality, Mind, and Soul. They are known as the Infinity Stones, which you know about already."

As Quill is explaining the origins, he looks around at each person. Doctor Strange, Tony, and Peter who is still stuffing his face with pizza are listening intently. Drax and Mantis are listening, but not really paying attention because they know the story already. When he looks over towards Sophia, he stops and looks at her, trying to determine her reaction. But Sophia just looks him dead in the eye and raises her brow. Quill clears his throat and looks away.

He continues to tell the story, "What you probably didn't know is that The First created lesser versions of these Stones at the same time. They are called the Lesser Stones and they are still powerful but limited, they don't hold the true power or have the same potential. For example, the Sorcerer here," Quill nods towards Doctor Strange, "has a Lesser Time Stone. You may be wondering, 'Quill, where are The First Stones?' Well, truth be told.." He pauses dramatically, "that's where the myth comes into play. No one knows exactly. There's speculation and rumors. But.." Quill stops talking with a shrug of his shoulders, reaching towards his drink.

When Quill stops talking to take a drink, Strange asks, "how many of these 'Lesser Stones' exist?"

Quill shrugs his answer, "No one really knows. Could be only a handful each or an infinite amount."

Next to Doctor Strange, sits Tony and he leans forwards putting his elbows on his knees, "How come we don't hear of or see evidence of these Stones more often?" Tony questions.

"They could be taking different forms. There could be dozens of each scattered all over your planet, you just didn't know what they were." answered Quill with another shrug.

Beside Sophia, Peter puts his pizza down and sits up "It makes sense Mr. Stark! Look at the technology the Ancient Egyptians had. Or.. or Atlantis! They had technologies that were incredibly advanced for that age. They could've harnessed the powers of these Stones. The Aztec, Greek, Romans? They all had technologies and sciences that we don't have or understand fully. Sophia, what do you think?" Peter said, turning towards her.

Sophia purses her lips and looks between her father and Peter, "It makes sense. With how technological Atlantis was claimed to be, it could be true. They figured it out and used it to their benefit until their fall. That's a Sersi question, I'll have to remember to ask her once we get the chance! Dad, what do you think?" she asked.

Tony is quiet for a few moments before he answers, "It's a debate for sure. In some aspects, yes. I can see where you are coming from. But, there are methods that were proven by archaeologists and historians." Tony rubs his goatee in thought, "let's discuss the possibilities with the Archaeology Department when we get back. It'll be interesting to see if anything comes out of it." Sophia nods in acceptance at this.

"Can I get back to my story please." Quill plainly states.

"Please, continue. Starks, stop interrupting." Strange says, while glaring at Tony.

"Thank you," Quill says towards Doctor Strange, "Now, where were i? Oh, right. After the First split himself and created the Lesser Stones, he created the Celestials, which are cosmic beings who took over the creation of universes and such. They now reside in the Quarry of Creation. Before He split himself, He foretold a prophecy, a destiny if you will. This is where The Worthy One comes in."

"Worthy." echoes within Sophia's mind, louder than before but just barely audible.

"This is my favorite part!" squeals Mantis while jumping on the couch, "Go on Quill, tell the story!"

Quill looks at Mantis, "What do you think I'm trying to do? All these interruptions are not helping." Mantis looks sheepish, "Sorry."

"It began with a prophecy and the prophecy is this:

'Upon the day the Worthy is born,

the fall of the universe shall begin,

When the time comes that air turns to dust,

A war of destinies comes to play,

The One with the Six shall prevail,

While the False fails,

Only the Worthy can bring peace and harmony,

Once and for all.'"

Quill stops and lets what he says sink in and continues to talk after a few moments, "This prophecy is millions of years old. Because it's so old no one knows if this prophecy has come to fruition or not. A lot of people out there speculate it did, millenia ago though. But, a lot of people believe because it's so old, it got mistranslated somewhere in history and it's wrong. I personally believe it's just a bedtime story."

While Quill is talking about the validity of this, Sophia jerks when she hears the word 'Worthy' echo within her head. This alerts Peter, "Soph, you okay?" Sophia nods and smiles but doesn't say anything because she doesn't know what it means.

"The person in this prophecy supposedly has the power to wield the Original Six, has the ability to harness the power of the First! Imagine if this person is real, and they're alive right now. The power they have is unparalleled. I can't imagine the type of pressure they must be under! Especially with a possible world ending prophecy, like damn!" says Quill, whos grabbing another taco from Draxs' plate.

Sophia and Tony look at each other, still processing what they heard about the prophecy. Once realization hit Quill started talking again, continuing the story, "Over the millennia, there's been thousands of people claiming to be this Worthy One and going on quests to find the Original Six and to 'fulfill the prophecy'. They all end up failing, of course because it's rumored that you can't just find Them, that They will only show to the true Worthy One I, myself, have tried when I was younger but gave up soon after realizing this." Quill looks around the group after he finishes, "Any questions?"

"Is that the full story?" Sophia asks beside Peter, tacos forgotten. Quill shakes his head, "I'm not sure. There could be more to it, but that's what I know and have been told."

"Oh." responds Sophia, already deep in thought.

"Has a world-ending war ever happened?" asks Tony, clearly concerned not only for the universe for his daughter and the weight that is now on her shoulders.

Drax nods, "Yes! There have been thousands of world-ending wars and battles! But, none as world-ending as this prophesied war!" At this statement, everyone looks at him with a mixed looks of concern and disbelief.

"'The fall of the universe shall begin'" quotes Strange, "is this literal in the sense that the universe is ending or a metaphor for the start of the war that was mentioned?" As Doctor Strange is saying this, he looks at Sophia then looks back at Quill.

Quill shrugs in response, "I don't know man! I'm not an historian."

When Doctor Strange starts asking them more questions about what was talked about, Sophia starts panicking due to the realization that she, Sophia Maria Stark, has a prophecy and that she is supposed to save the universe. Her father notices her panicked state and pulls her away, ignoring everyone's looks of concern and surprise.

"Sophia! Are you okay? Do you need me to do anything?" questions Peter as they pass him, face full of concern and anxiety.

Tony stops him with a hand on his shoulder, making him sit back down, "Peter. Sit back down, I'll come get you if she asks for you." Peter looks at Sophia, but nods.

Tony continues leading his daughter to a more private area, a place where Sophia can calm down and can talk freely without people eavesdropping.

"Hey hey hey," he says, following with "shhh. It's okay, Soph. Take a deep breath with me. In.. Out.. In.. Out.." Tony places his hands on her shoulders to ground her.

"Oh my God. Dad, I- it's about me, isn't it?" Sophia hiccups, "the prophecy is about me!

Tony pulls Sophia into a hug, "it'll be fine. We'll figure it out. Figure out what that.. Prophecy actually means. You're okay, I'm okay, everyone is okay."

"There's going to be a war, dad. Something that I caused or will cause or, or I don't know!. I don't want anyone to be hurt," Sophia sobs into her fathers shoulder, "why didn't the Stones tell me! This is clearly important, why didn't They tell me! I'm not prepared for this, I- I don't- Dad, what am I going to do?!"

Tony holds her daughter closer, and softly tells her, "it'll be okay. You don't have to figure this out by yourself. You have me and Pep. You have Uncle Happy and Rhodey. You have the numbskulls that are the Avengers, right?" Tony rubs her back in a comforting gesture, "You also have your friends. You have Peter, you know he wouldn't let you do this alone. Everyone is here to help you succeed, don't worry sweetheart."

Sophia continues to cry a little longer. After a few minutes, she sniffles and mumbles, "Where's Peter, is he okay?"

"Let me go get- And he's here." Tony says softly, "Kid, stop with the eavesdropping."

"Sorry Mr. Stark," Peter says guilily but changes his tone softer when he turns to Sophia, "Hey, Soph. Want a hug? Everything will be okay. I'm here, your fathers here, even Doctor Strange is here."

Sophia hugs Peter closer, "You're the best Peter-Man. Thank you." Sophia sniffles, "I just don't understand why this is happening to me. First the Stones don't tell me of the fucking prophecy, then the Stones disappear, then I learn of the prophecy about me, and now I'm starting to hear voices, I'm going crazy!."

Tony butts in, "What do you mean you've been hearing voices? Are you sure the voices are not the Stones?"

Sophia stops and thinks on what to say, "It's different. The voice is echoey almost. With the Stones, each one of them sounded different. Soul, Mind, and Reality sounded feminine. While Power, Space, and Time sounded masculine. This is a singular voice. So no, this is not the Stones. I'm not sure who this voice is."

"What has this voice been saying to you?" Peter asks, brows furrowed in confusion.

"Worthy." states Sophia, "just 'worthy'. It started a few hours ago. It started as a whisper but it's getting louder." She looks up at her father and then Peter, and pouts.

"Try to talk to this 'voice' and see who or what it is. Once you figure anything out, and I mean anything you let me know. We'll figure this out together, Soph." Tony responds, while pulling Sophia into another hug, "get over here, Pete." Peter joins the hug. "You okay now?" Peter asks once the hug was over.

"No, but at least I'm not panicking anymore. Thanks for calming me down. It kinda sucks having a panic attack in front of a bunch of strangers," smiles Sophia, "what do we tell Doctor Strange, should we talk to him about this? What about the Guardians. Can we trust them?" Sophia directed towards Tony.

"We can trust Doctor Strange, right? I mean, he helped Sophia several times with the Time Stone. Can we trust the others?" Peter directed towards Tony, "We can trust the wizard. He's earned my trust. The others, I don't know, we will have to see." responds Tony, looking between the two teenagers, "Let's go back and let's hope they don't ask too many questions."

When Peter, Sophia, and Tony walk out of their little corner, everyone looks at the group. Sophia immediately looks at Strange, silently asking if he knew about the prophecy. She got her answer when he nods. When she looks over towards the Guardians, Quill immediately asks, "You're it aren't you? The legend is real, you're the Worthy one?"
