Sophia doesn't say anything, just looking at everyone before she nodded her head and said "Yes."
She looks at her father, who is displaying concern and fatherly love. Then she turns to Peter, who is wearing a slight smile with support showing in his eyes. She then looks at Doctor Strange, he didn't really have a reaction. Sophia turns to the three guardians, Mantis has excitement written all over her face, bouncing on the balls of her feet. Drax is dumbfounded, mouth hanging open in shock and astonishment. Once she looked at Quills, Sophia bursts out laughing due to his facial expressions
"I- I did not expect this, at all. I- What!?" Quill says confusingly, clearly not expecting that despite the weird coincidences.
"Does that mean Thanos is the False One?" questions Mantis to no one in particular.
"Wait, hold up. How do we know that Thanos is the 'False One'?" questions Strange, looking between Quill and Tony.
"He's starting a war." says Tony, looking towards Strange, "He was the one behind the The Battle of New York in 2012."
"Ah," Strange nods, "I was in the middle of doing a surgery when that happened."
"How did you know that?" Quill asks, "That it was Thanos?"
"I flew myself into the wormhole with a nuke and I saw him, big purple guy right?" Tony asks Quill, who nods his answer, "Yea, I blew up his fleet. Almost died doing that."
Sophia nods at this, "Yeah, and never do that again." she turns towards the Guardians, "He was the one controlling Loki during this time. So, technically it was Thanos who gave me these powers, even if it was Loki who did the action itself. Man, did he fuck up."
Mantis raises her hand, "I have questions!" and looks towards Sophia, "Can you answer my questions?"
Sophia nods, "Let's sit. I'll try and answer your questions. But, I will only answer them one at a time, no overlapping or I won't answer. We have time to kill anyway."
As she walks to her spot, she grabs Peter's hand and leads him towards the couches. Once they sit down, Sophia lays her head on his lap.
Once they were all seated, the questions started. "How did Loki indirectly give you these abilities?" questioned Drax, beating
"So, Loki came to visit my dad, an unwanted visit but a visit nonetheless and he had the scepter with him, which was housing the Mind Stone at the time, which was how Thanos was controlling him by the way. He used the scepter on me intending to use me against him but I simply disappeared for two days," Sophia looks at her father, "and when I returned I had these new abilities and powers. Next question?" answered Sophia.
"What happened during your.. disappearance?" questioned Strange, who's been wanting to know.
"I was transported somewhere, which I now know is the Quarry of Creation," the guardians gasp at this fact, "and I was bestowed the Power of the First by the man himself. At the time, I didn't know what it really meant. I honestly thought I was dreaming and when I woke up in my bed, I learned I went missing for 48 hours and when my dad found me," Sophia looks at her dad again, "he brought me to my room. I didn't wake up for another 24 hours. When I finally woke up, everything was different. I was no longer fully human, senses were going crazy, and I had six separate voices in my head, which over time I grew fond of. They each have their own personality, did you know that? I thought I was going crazy, but I wasn't. I was just.. given this unimaginable power." answered Sophia, eyes closing in contentment due to Peter playing with her hair.
"How long did it take you to master your abilities?" questioned Quill.
"With the help of the Stones, I mastered them right before I started high school. To everyone else, it took me four years. But in reality it took me a lot longer. I was put in a pocket dimension where time went very slow compared to the outside world. If I remember correctly, it took 14 years. Two years per Stone and another two to master the other abilities not associated with a specific Stone " answered Sophia.
"You were only eleven, if my math is right! eleven years old, gaining unimaginable power with a prophecy." Quill exclaims, throwing his arms into the air.
"Hey, calm down. I'm seventeen now and have since mastered my powers. That's an accomplishment for such a young age!" respondes Sophia.
"Technically, you're in your 30s." quips Peter, "My best friend is old. That's gross."
Sophia shoves Peters hands away smiling, "Fuck off Pete."
Mantis was next in asking a question, "What are the Stones like? You said they have their own personality? Do you have conversations with them?"
Sophia laughs at her excitement, "Yea! We have conversations all the time. Personality wise, they are all different. Power is serious and snarky, but he's also honest, too honest sometimes. Time is wise. He is also insightful and patient. Space is picky, he is very judgemental but protective. Reality is, well she is creative and thoughtful, but she is also very blunt. Soul is honestly so sweet and kind, she's like a grandmother in a way. And Mind is honestly so funny, the shit she says. She is also incredibly open minded and smart." Sophia smiles, missing her friends and confidantes.
Doctor Strange clears his throat and asks another question, "There has to be challenges and hard truths that came along, what were they?"
Sophia sighs and sits up, looking around at everyone, "By gaining a lot, I also lost a lot. The biggest one was my human nature, I'm not even fully human anymore. My physiology changed drastically. Brucey did some tests on me and figured out that my DNA changed. I'm like only 16% human, the rest is.. the Stones. Which is actually weird, if you think about it. Brucey likes to experiment with my blood and cells, it's interesting when he discovers something."
"Which I don't like. You're not a lab rat, you're my daughter, Soph." Tony says, looking directly at Sophia.
"I know dad. Brucey hasn't done anything in a while." Sophia responds with a reassuring smile.
"Yea, that's cool and all. But what can you do though?" Quill says with a sigh, "Does nobody else want to know what she can do?" Quill whines
"Damm Star-Lord, I was getting to that." Sophia says, "Power and ability wise, what can I NOT do?"
"Go on!" urges Mantis, who's literally on the edge of her seat.
Sophia rolls her eyes and dramatically sighs before standing up and walking over to the front, "Each Stone grants different powers, abilities, and skills. I am not going to list off every power or demonstrate everything. The only people who truly know the extent of my powers are my dad and Peter. Oh and Pepper, but she isn't here right now." Sophia says while clapping her hands together, "Let's start with the Power Stone. This Stone basically powers me and the other Stones, gives me unlimited energy, stamina, and strength. I am able to manipulate electricity in any shape and form." Sophia displays her hands which are covered with lines of electricity, "I am also able to manipulate technology, which is my dad's favorite because it helps with product creation for the company."
Peter gasps, "That's how you were able to design the STARK-Car! I was wondering about that, because that wasn't feasible before!"
Sophia and Tony laugh at Peter's expression, "Yeah! It was fun to create then dismantle to figure out how it worked. I'll let you join next time" At this, Peter nods his head enthusiastically.
She continues to explain her powers, "Under the Space Stone, I am able to manipulate Space itself, create portals, and mess with gravity, which I do all the time to annoy people. Especially Steve when it's time to train." Sophia moves her hand in a certain gesture, making everyone float and weightless. She watches Peter and Mantis float around the room doing flips and tricks for a few moments before slowly lowering them all down.
"With the Time Stone, I am able to time travel, control time, and manipulate ages. I don't particularly use this Stone that often, I really only use it to get extra sleep in the mornings, especially during Compound trips." Sophia takes a breath and takes a drink from her water before continuing.
"The Stone I use the most is the Reality Stone. With this Stone, I can warp reality. I can create anything out of nothing, like how I did earlier with the food and couches. I can also shapeshift." In the blink of an eye, Sophia changes into Loki, holding a replica of the Scepter, "Enough! You, all of you are beneath me! I am a god, you dull creature! And I will not be bullied by Hulk." she says mockingly. While her body changes, her voice remains the same so she purposely deepens her voice.
Tony snorts at this, "Of course you shift into Loki. Now this, I will be telling him about later." Sophia quickly changes back at that, "dad! Please, no! I will never live it down!" Tony just gives an amused look as a response.
Peter laughs at this, "This is too funny. Because Loki shifts into you all the time and-" Peter stops talking when he notices Sophias not so pleased face, "Oh. Um, I thought you.. knew?"
"Uh, obviously not! If I knew then Loki wouldn't be doing it anymore! Once we get back to earth, I am having a not so friendly chat with him and you can't stop me." states Sophia while crossing her arms together, then mutters, "maybe I should just teleport him here and give him my wrath."
Tony stops her mutterings by saying, "didn't you just mock him? There, karma is returned." Sophia stops and pouts, but doesn't say anything else.
"So you mentioned four of the Stones.. What about the other two? Can you tell us more about them?" asks Mantis, who is bouncing on the couch.
"Sure. So, I briefly talked about Power, Space, and Time. I was talking about Reality but then got distracted," Sophia says while going to lay back down on the couch next to her father this time, "So that leaves Soul and Mind. Oh, and if you guys want I can tell you the pranks I did using my powers. I have this great story involving Pe-" Sophia's mouth gets webbed shut making her stop talking. When she looks up, Peter has a shocked face, "No no no no. Sophia, you PROMISED you would never tell that story."
As she gets up, Sophia rips the webbing off her face,"Ugh. We have to formulate a flavored webbing, that's disgusting. And I was gonna mention that one time in Blast Room C13, remember?"
Peter's face gets all red from embarrassment and rubs the back of his neck, "Oh, yea.. Haha. I remember that, that was three days ago. Remember Mr. Stark? You banned us from the Blast Rooms after that."
Sophia looks up at her father, whose face is annoyed but with slight amusement, "Yeah, and guess who has to pay for that?"
"You didn't have to pay anything. I fixed it immediately." snorts Sophia.
"Uh," drawls Drax, "Can we talk about the Stones? Then about mischievous stories, which I will gladly enjoy."
Sophia hums in agreement, "The Soul Stone is next. This is one I didn't use unless necessary. The healing ability I use quite often, especially on Peter-Man here when he gets injured on patrol and doesn't want dad to find out. Which, by the way Pete, dad knows about every time you get hurt," she points at Peter, who just pouts and mutters "Karens a snitch."
Sophia just laughs and continues her explanation "it's also handy to have when on missions and lab accidents. I also have access to the Soul World, which is a creepy place but it holds interesting people and they have fun stories." Sophia smiles at that, while Tony frowns before saying, "Soph, that place shouldn't be 'fun and interesting'. It's literally purgatory."
Sophia just dismisses what he said, "Not for everyone. Only for cosmic beings and shit." Tony frowns at this, but doesn't say anything.
Sophia continues her explanation of the Stones, "The last Stone is Mind. This is the second most used stone. With this Stone, I am able to use Allspeak, which means I can understand every language in the universe. That was how I was able to read the controls." Sophia points towards the control panel in front of the large windows displaying the vastness of space, "Fun fact, Asgardians have the ability of Allspeak, so Thor and I like to shit talk everyone in the Avengers in different languages." Sophia smiles widely at Tony's and Peters groans, "Another ability I use regularly is telekinesis." When Sophia stops talking, she lifts her hand up and within seconds her water cup is flying through the air and landing in her hand, then she asks if anyone has any more questions.
"Can you tell us some stories? Iron Man, you must have stories!" says excitedly by Drax, looking between the two Starks."
Sophia's eyes widen and groan when her three team-mates smirk and say they all have stories.
